When I checked out, the two clerks said, "That's it." I asked if there were any additional charges. Then I asked for a receipt, which the younger clerk generated, printed out, and gave to me. I looked at the receipt and asked, "What is the $60 for? Is it an additional charge?" He said, "No. It's the total charges." I looked at the original contract and saw that I had paid $277. That contract also showed that in addition to the $277, I had also paid a $60 deposit fee. So, I asked the clerk, "Is that $60 a deposit fee? Do I get that back?" He said, "Yes." If I had just accepted his statement of "That's it" and left without a receipt, I would not have gotten my deposit back. I would feel better about recommending someone to this location if the staff there were more careful in processing the payments and refunds.JENNIFER L.

I arrived at 7:53 pm. An employee locked the door as I was walking toward them. I knocked on glass and said its not 8:00 and I am returning. Employee came out, told me where to park it and that I would get a receipt when it was checked in. Employee did not look at or inspect trailer. Was told by another employee to do self check in. Still before 8:00 pm. Had to do self check in with two-three employees on site. Poor customer service. Will not recommend.Richard P.

Instead of showing me how to hook up trailer safely, the employee hooked it up himself quickly and said â€œyou are good to goâ€. Though I appreciated his help, I feel it would have been better to make sure I understood how to hook-unhook trailer properly. Overall great service though.Douglas L.

One employee was sleeping at the counter and one behind the partition. We did wake The employee at the calendar so she could wait on us. They also gave us a 15 foot truck that was not running properly so we had to take it back after pulling out of the parking lot. They said they didn't have any more 15 foot so we had to take a 20 foot which was much larger than what we actually needed. I felt price was very high for a one-way trip. The mobile return process was unexpected and time consuming. The after hours return policy was not explained before hand, so we were very confused about what to do once we reached the UHaul lot.WILLIAM L.

The reserved truck was not available when we arrived at the contracted pick-up time. We waited and tried to negotiate with them for almost an hour. (When the manager came in from a fast-food run, he told us there was nothing he could do and just kept walking to his office--basically ignoring our concerns.) They did have a larger truck that we ended up taking; this truck used a lot more gas and was overkill for moving our college daughter's one-room from Virginia to Oklahoma. Even if they rented it to us for the same price, it cost us almost $600 in gas and was a rougher, louder ride than a smaller truck would have been. When we asked about the $50 guarantee, we were told that didn't apply since we were leaving with a truck. They really didn't care and knew we had flown one-way and had no choice but to take what was there. The truck was not in bad condition, but there was spewed sticky soda all across the dash and front window. Even after we wiped it down, it was still a mess because it had been there so long and we didn't have the right products to clean in our time crunch. What's the point in reserving and paying in full for a rental that is not going to be available when you need it? Terrible experience. We'll go with a different company next time even if the quoted rate is a bit higher.Darin C.

I cant think of anything that would need improved. The rental prices were reasonable, and the employees were very knowledgeable, nice and also helpful. The gentleman ( don't recall his name but he was Hispanic I think) was extremely helpful. The counter help was not. Systems are horrible and it seems no one knows how to do transactions except one person. U box was in bad shape.CYNTHIA V.
I returned the vehicle with the same amount of fuel as when I picked it up yet I was still charged $17 for fuel after the fact. The vehicle was clean and had been swept before I dropped it off yet I was still charged a $25 cleaning fee. These charges came after the drop off so I have no way to dispute them. I just feel like that I should not have been charged these fees. I also tried using the UHaul app to return the vehicle a a day early and it was basically useless and would never let me get past the part where you upload a photo of the fuel/mileage.Steven J.
I was told that if I bring the truck back at a half of tank I would get $60 back. I put over $40 in the truck with no return of any of that money. I filled a complaint with u haul at the Timberlake office where I rented the van she told me she had to send the information to her Supervisor. Pulled in and there is a check-in site but a pick-up truck was haphazardly parked blocking the site. I sat there for at least ten minutes without any acknowledgement. After taking the time to sweep the box and folding the blankets it is frustrating to end up being charged a cleaning fee for returning the cab of the truck in the same condition I received it. There is a sign in the box that mentions a cleaning fee but there is none in the cab. The â€œdirtyâ€ cab was the normal dirt from getting in and out of the truck. Each location needs to have the same standards. I am now convinced that Penske is the way to go.David Q.
I needed a large unit for storing things for 3 months. There were none to be had. I have rented a 10x10, and an 8x10. I seriously STILL need more space to store 2 beds, end tables, large kitchen table and 12 chairs and kitchen things. Is there any compensation for having to rent another 2 more small units instead of a large 10x30 that I really need??? I don't want my belongings stored at 3 to 4 different Companies. Lighting was extremely poor at the time I was there around 10 pm. Whether accessing storage or dropping off a rental van, I would feel unsafe at the location after hours. Instructions for parking return truck and finding key drop were hard to find in the darkness and poorly indicated and lit. Had to more truck slightly after odometer reading to compensate for the service disasters. Get your lights fixed!!!!Paul V.

I did not move in. There was not a storage unit...I was told there would be a smaller unit later this week. I am furious. I had a reservation for over a week, and then showed up early on 8-1 to find out which unit so I could move in, only to be told they did not have that size and would not have that size. I contracted (via the website) for a 10 X 10 unit. When I arrived with my stuff, "my" unit had a lock on it. The guy on duty did all he could to help me, but I ended up keeping the trailer for two more days while they figured out the situation. Finally, they gave me a 10 X 15 unit and I unloaded my stuff. On a subsequent visit, I learned that I was to be charged $40/mo. more than I contracted (because I had a bigger unit). I now have to go move my stuff AGAIN into a 10 X 10 unit, or pay $40 more than I budgeted. NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE.Norman N. | Premières impressions

Your staff needs a lot of work. 1st off you don't have enough to serve your customers I waited for 45 mins and then had to deal with a very rude lady behind the counter for another 45 mins. I was hoping this was going to be a quick in and out process. 2nd your large truck sounds like death. The check oil light was on, when it runs it bangs and clanks, when it stops it jerks and pulls like your not going to stop. This could use work. I came to you for a clean, friendly, fast, reliable service. While the truck was clean, and the facilities are super clean, the staff is not friendly, reliable or fast. This is not our first issue. We reserved a UHaul UBox from this facility, I called to confirm all was well, when my husband when to pick it up, he couldn't because that facility didn't have the equipment. Instead of offering to correct it they said sorry nothing we can do and we left: I called 2 additional facilities and finally was able to get in touch with a phone rep who actually helped fix the mistake.
