The 26 foot van that I rented was nice and clean. The customer service was on point and friendly. They was super busy when I came in, but they was rolling the customers in and out in a nice timely manner. I only needed this truck for a one way move, it took me less than 4 hours to do what I was trying to do. I was charged a flat rate for 2 days. I feel if i was not in need of the truck for that long, there should have been an option for early return to get some of my money back. There are no refunds for the one way rental, no matter how long you need it, its the same rate. And when I picked the truck up it only had a 1/4 tank of gas, to keep from stopping agn, I overfilled the truck. There is also no credit for gas over the amount they asked you to return it with. I feel the trucks should be full upon pick up, that way there is no question in what amount of gas you need to bring it back with. You just fill it back up.MARISSACLANICE G.

I only give them a poor review because they overcharged me. They charged me for extra things I did not get. Charged me for an extra day when I returned the uhaul before my 4 hours was up. Charged me for furniture pads I didn't use, charged for coverage I denied. I took the uhaul back early, with less miles than anticipated and clean. I got charged $168 when the guy on the phone said my charges should've been $72. Then, I wake up to 2 new charges, one of $53.65 and another of $29.95. So you mean to tell me, driving 26 miles in 3 hours costs over $200 with y'all? And now y'all are giving me the run around when I have pictures of the time I dropped the truck off and the equipment I used and a worker who will tell you I declined coverage and the bag still in the same place unopened. The guy that did my order told me that I needed to bring it back at 8o'clock the next morning and only received it at 6o'clock the night before. Quite literally among the worst customer service I have received. The trailer that I ordered was not available at the pick up site (Park St.), and there was no communication that it was waiting for me at a different location (Timberlake) across town. When I arrived, the customer service rep convinced me to take the U-Haul truck separately to load up all of my belongings in advance, then come back for the trailer, resulting in extra mileage needing to be traveled, beyond the allowed amount. After loading the truck, I came back on time for the trailer and the gentleman outside did not communicate and was entirely disrespectful, talking on his headset to various folks and ignoring the customer. After hitching the trailer, the taillights didn't work. It turned out to be a problem with the U-Haul truck itself, and thankfully a friend of mine who was with me noticed that the lights were not working. We decided to report it with no clear direction or communication being given as to a solution. The problem was not fixed, and we waiting three hours on site for the U-Haul reps to resolve the issue. It wasn't. And so my friend cancelled his evening plans with his wife and hitched up his own personal truck with the tailer in order to help me move two hours away. In spite of this solution, the U-Haul rep said that we may have to unload the entire U-Haul truck by ourselves as the truck itself was the problemâ€”thought the problem was not diagnosed in advance, nor during that three-hour interval. This was a ludicrous plan to say the least, and so I argued that I needed to be reimbursed as the issue (several issues, really) was entirely on them. The customer service said that I would be discounted, though he didn't specify as to what amount when asking. I was simply done dealing with their ineptness at that point. Nearly a week has past, and I have not be reimbursed.RICHARDSTANLEY B.
