I showed up to drop off my Uhaul on Sunday and no one was working. Someone didn't show up for work. I sat in the parking lot for an hour, then had to call head office to see what to do. Office hours were 9-5 on Sunday and i was there from 10am-11am to show up to the location with the doors closed and no staff on site. There were other people there as well that were very upset, it wasn't just me. Not a great experience.

JONATHANKEVIN CHENI asked if dollies were available for rent when I arrived. I saw them on the website. The answer was no, without an explanation. Why are they listed on the website if dollies are not available? Also, when I arrived, I walked up to the desk, then said hello. I was asked to wait for a few minutes. That was my greeting and acknowledgement. No one else was there. The employee had to finish some inventory paperwork. I was asked to move my car to the designated parking spot while she finished her inventory section. Then we started the online paperwork for my reserved rental. It took more than15 minutes to get that done and be given the keys. Way too long. When I returned the van about 20 minutes late from the 4 hour window, due to traffic and an accident on the don valley parkway, at the end of the day, at least I wasn't charged for being late since it was exactly a 4 hour window in all.

Phil KealeyThis is the worst managed business j have ever experienced. 1. I had no security on my unit for weeks or months because you weren't properly inspecting the units. I had to ask your office repeatedly to fix it and got no help. I had to contact your head office to get it fixed finally. 2. I still had no light bulb when I closed my unit - I have asked you and your staff for a lightbulb about a half dozen times over the past year and a half and got no where. You can't even stock light bulbs. 3. i asked you in the summer of 2023 to be put on a wait list for a smaller unit. You never got back to me, which I knew you wouldn't since you just wrote it on scrap paper and clearly did not care. Your company has lost a years long customer and money because of your inaction on basic sections of your job. 4. the south side button panel doesn't work and you know it, but continue telling people to use it. 5. You repeatedly blocked access to my unit by encouraging pick up and drop off of trucks in the entranceway; the only one with a functioning keypad. Once again, the south side keypad did not/does not function. 6. The GM once blocked my car in and refused to let me exit until I started recording her. 7. The hours were changed without notice, preventing my 24 hours access.

Abdulla MalikUp until our pod arrived at this location we had a few exchanges with Uhaul. There was an issue when the pod was unloading incorrectly at this Aurora location, not a location issue but a Traffic Dept issue. Once we connected with Becky B. everything got better. She took charge of the situation, and got things corrected. She turned an unpleasant experience in to a good experience resulting in us giving consideration to Uhaul for future moving needs. Becky B. needs to be recognized for her excellent attitude, personality and commitment to your brand. She alone made our whole Uhaul experience better.

Firstly, I was to pick up my truck at 5:00PM Saturday...Because of the truck not being there when i got there at 4:30 PM, because the previous person did not return on time I had to wait around for 2 hours. Then when truck came back they had an accident and lodged the truck into your side of building. Luckily someone returned a 26 foot truck and i was provided a truck which was very dirty inside. The gentleman told me that dont worry, we will do something about discounting your klilometres when returned...When i came to return the truck yesterday, as entering your building there as all ice and it was not salted or cleared, I took a very nasty fall on the ice and have been in intense pain since. You can check your security camera. Luckily my wife and kids were there to help me. Your employee even though he saw me fall just sat there and did not even come to help. On top of that, when i told him about what happened yesterday and i would be discounted the kilometeres he said no he did not know anything about that and said call head office. I am not happy customer at all in an in great pain today because of Uhaul.

Sara WakilehMy rating is entirely about the woman who was working the desk when I attended in the morning. Simply put, she was rude. When speaking to her she appeared displeased to even have to speak to me. I had not rented furniture covers in advance and decided that I needed them, so asked to rent them from the location. She responded that in a rude tone, "You should have rented them at them at the time of my booking." It felt as though I was being given shit for wanting to spend more money with your company. She made it seem as though my presence was an inconvenience to her, despite the fact that I was the only customer at the location. The guys in the afternoon when I dropped off the vehicle was very nice and very helpful.

Pik YipThe daily price was great but the mileage charge is very high. I know I haven't rented a vehicle in a long time but still quite expense on the mileage. The app was a little clunky and didn't explain the charges which included the estimated mileage .

Katherine FrenchI should have received a credit because the 20' truck was in for repair and unavailable. I spoke to a customer representative, crying my eyes out! That call took 50 minutes. I was given a 10' truck and it took three loads to my new residence, 29 minutes away. The added mileage and time it took to have the movers complete the move took two additional hours costing me $200 mire and another $59 in mileage???? Where is my compensation. I booked originally on August 29th for a September 23rd move and moved up to a 15' to 20'. I am disgusted and even the UHaul person at the pick up location couldn't believe i wasn't provided a credit. Would i recommend - never

kevin wride | Premières impressionsThe absolute worst U-Haul location I've ever been to by far. Unhelpful staff and unresponsive management. They like to charge you extra fees and try to charge your credit card when you did not give them permission to. They add on lean fees right away when I should have only been charged a late fee. The units weren't very secure at all - you could open it and the alarm would go off and they would just turn the alarm off and not even make sure it's your unit. Extremely convenient access hours considering most storage places I've ever rented from were 24 hr access so I can get my belongings anytime I'd like considering their mine and I pay to store them there. It was dirty everywhere, especially the washrooms. Instead of the washrooms being cleaned before the office opens or after the office closes they clean the washrooms during the day and customers aren't able to use it and have to wait.

I also was never able to get anyone on the phone at that specific office. I I find the staff to be lazy and do the very bare minimum for customers. I took an extra half hour yesterday to sweep up my unit and make sure it was nice and clean before I left. I was told that it was going to be inspected and when I checked out know anything care to look at it. ended up driving down after sitting on hold for over an hour just to ask a quick question. This has been nothing but a bad experience and I would definitely not recommend uhaul to anyone. The only reason I stayed is because I was in the middle of a separation and I had nowhere else to go. It's really unfortunate and I would happily discuss this further with someone.

There was no warning of this, nor should there have been. Customers are led to believe it's climate controlled, so it either should be or should not be. Not just for one season. I feel misled and cheated. The fans should run more often in summer and/or they should be removed and dehumidifiers installed and running when necessary.

I booked a Uhaul 15" truck on Friday at 12 pm. but when I reached there, they had nothing to give me. I came empty-handed. then they called me 3 in the afternoon that you can come and pick the truck up. I again went there to pick it up. we loaded the truck from our storage unit and came home. we were so behind the schedule. my whole day got messed and we have stuff all over the lobby floor because we did not get time to tidy our place, we got so late. I have work on Sundays. now we have to wait till the next weekend to clean and put everything in its place. so unhappy, very unprofessional service. this whole week we have to stay In a mess. thanks to UHAUL Aurora. i ll make sure to give my business to someone else next time.

Also, the snow was plowed to the end of the strip, leaving it impassable for most of the winter and needing to dangerously reverse all the way to the back again since there isn't room to turn around. The storage unit itself was clean and dry and served it's purpose well. As someone working an unusual work shift outside of general business hours, however I personally would have liked to have had 24/7 access to my unit via the gate and my access code. I'm not sure why I even had an access code if I can't access the facility after hours; the gate is open 100 % of the time during office hours, and I never, ever used my code I just drove in or around if a truck being returned was in the way. But longer access periods with customers willing to come at night with their code would be valued I think. Thanks for the experience I will use you again if I need a unit in the future.

Then saw staff again who informed us that he wrote a note for maintence and they would be in Monday. He expected us to come back to let in maintenence without informing us this was the case. We emptied a bucket and put under the leak. Ceiling should still be fixed.

I booked uhaul 20" truck online everything went smooth and at the same time i was looking for storage unit. I got a popup that i can get a free first month. I was like gr8 thats all i need and i went on to reserve it and apply the discount but somehow an error occurred. Then i called the uhaul toll free number. Lady picked up everything went well she said she applied the discount everything is good u now just have to pick up truck move your stuff and return the truck back. Was so happy until the moving day sunday (22/8/21). I went to pick up the 20" truck and it turns out that they dont have that. I was amazed like how can someone book you something that is not even available. I was like ok no problem i ll go with 15" and rest of the small stuff I ll move by my car. And just to make my moving more worse the truck was filthy, steering wherel and seats were sticky as there were lot of sweat and never cleaned but it was moving day, i ignored it. i put my stuff in the rental went to storage unit which was 40 kms away and when i reached there the guy said they cant apply the discount because the rental truck has to be one way or something. Again they promised me something else and charging me something else. I called u haul toll free as i was waiting outside. They said the same thing i said can i talk to manager and she even said the same thing. Then i replied i already got to know this thing from 2 other people but as a manager how you can help me out in this situation and while our conversation was going on I mentioned that i was getting it cheaper somewhere else but i choose u guys cuz of promotion and now u r saying this you cant honour it. Her reply just made me so angry, she said u should go to those guys if they r cheaper. Lady just hear yourself i m in ur truck its almost 4 o clock 5 o clock everything will be closed and i am 40 kms away from my city and u r saying this to go take it somewhere else. Thats just so rude and that's not a way to handle customer complaints. Gist of the story i am using u haul from quite a bit u can check my records and this was by far the worst experience I ever had with Uhaul. I want someone to look after my case and give me call back with all the answers i have. -Why you promised 20" truck but never had it? -why u told me that u have applied the discounts and made me go 40 kms and then only tell u can go somewhere else? -in these covid time why u don't assure the cleanliness and proper sanitation of the trucks? - why ur manager despite solving customer issues tell them to go somewhere else? This is important. And i want to let u know my brother and i are starting to feel itchiness in our hands and arms. So please make sure the cleanliness of the rentals.
