Would have liked personal assistance being walked to the truck, made sure it started (I had trouble with the key), I think it should be at least offered. Like the additional services now available through the app like finding labor, that worked out great!

The staff at this place are absolute tops. The guy that checked me in was beyond polite -- he was real. We shared a few stories and a few laughs, and I left with a smile on my face. Top notch. Give that guy a raise.

Got a 6 hour trailer with moving blankets picked up at 2. The store closed at 5 and employees didn't mention they closed. I called the customer service line and they said I could just make 2 trips and return the pads tomorrow- which was ridiculous! After dealing with them they said I would not be charged an extra day but I was still charged.

I never received text about change of location or equipment, the lady I spoke with was rude. I never received call you're supposed to receive the night before you pick up. We're there some people who did there job throughout the whole process, yes. However overall would I recommend Uhaul probably not.

Disappointed. 2 flat tires on trailer. - found out after i loaded it. Aired them up to find there were nails in them. Called 800 go uhaul and sat on hold for 25 min before giving up. Aired them up myself and hoped they wouldn't go flat. Asked for a discount on the final billing and they ddin't do it. Disappointed.

This location is excellent, every employee I have interacted with was polite and professional. The truck I had seemed great, until I got out on the road. Even the employee who checked it in when I returned it said “this is a pretty rough truck”. On the road every bump I hit caused it to shake violently and try to jump lanes. Having driven grain trucks I can deal with those bad manners. What was the kicker for me was the fact that even with the air conditioning on, there was extremely hot air And fumes blowing directly from the engine bay and coming out from under the dash. My feet and legs were burning from the intense heat. The dash was so hot from it that you couldn't put your hand on it anywhere. I had to run the air and have the window down just to make it bearable. This used a huge amount of fuel. If I wasn't on a deadline I would've turned around and asked for an exchange or just canceled it all together. I was stuck with this heap of a truck that I paid a large amount of money to suffer through. Around town this problem didn't exist, just out on the highway. Very very disappointed in this equipment. I have rented many trucks from U-Haul and never had an experience like this. As of right now I'm considering not renting again to finish my move later this month. That's just too much money for that kind of safety hazard.

The truck I had was in slightly worse condition than usual. The dolly that is inside was difficult to remove due to the nut and bolt assembly being very tight to turn, and the bag of furniture blankets was empty, and was torn open and was partially coming off its attachment. No issues otherwise, got the job done.

The folks were nice, it was super quick, and I really liked the clear “flow” for the truck return. The only thing that may have been more helpful would be a clearly marked area for me to park my personal car while waiting for my husband to return the truck (I ended up just following him thru the return area and parking in front of him).

The equipment was garbage not in that it wasn't maintained or anything just in that it would not haul anything I needed it to. I tried to haul a sub compact tractor wouldn't work cause the ramps wouldn't move and the deck was not solid. So then I tried to haul a F-150 which did not fit length wise and bearly fit width wise. So I donated 70,67 to the company cause the auto transport trailer did nothing that I needed. So i will not be renting from Uhaul again.

I'm basing this review on previous rentals from the same location. Check in was easy, however the truck was dirty and hard to drive. I have previously rented pick ups to 26' trucks. This was a 15'. The location was closed and I left my phone at home when returning the rental. I spent 40 minutes on a borrowed phone on hold before a notice was announced the wait time would be an additional 55 minutes. I eventually locked the keys in the cab and gave up trying to get to a service rep. I wanted to explain that we had to use the dolly and hopefully avoid the rental charge due to the terrible experience with movinghelp.com. The movers I hired loaded my furniture but did not show up for the unload! Had they completed the 2 men/2 hour task I would not have had to use the rental equipment. I understand staffing is an issue everywhere, but this experience was not uhaul standard and movinghelp.com was far, far below expectations on a service that until this move I trusted.

Staff was friendly and courteous however I was double billed. Called and they apologized and credited 75 dollars to my account. Once I double checked my bill I realized they still overcharged me by at least 20 dollars. Rented the truck for 6 hours but was billed twice for insurance, twice for rental charge, my miles were doubled which also added more taxes. Next time I will be sure to have them print hard copy receipts!

Everything was fine until i turned the truck in and they tried to tell me they gave me the truck with a full tank of gas. I informed them that it was on a quarter tank and they snickered and said i was lying. They asked me if i took a picture and i said no it should be in the system. One laughed at me and the other employee insisted i was lying. I showed receipts for gas, and that i only drove 50 miles so there was no way i burned a whole tank of gas. That employee walked outside with me to check mileage but started to punch the back of a uhaul trailer around 9 times. Then found out that they mistook me for another person and told me to leave and not worry about it. I will most likely never use that location again.

The truck was a disaster. It had over 150 000 hard miles. The steering was dangerously difficult; the driver's side door didn't close securely and the engine rattled. This vehicle should be removed from the fleet. Very sub-standard.

Received an email stating to pick up 20 ft truck in Alcoa. Went to pick up truck there on 21st and was told to go to WestTown. Very upset. Originally scheduled at WestTown. Total lack of communication from UHaul

Horrible experience- over charged me with moving help- site very deceitful making u think they back the moving help. Notifications grossly wrong. Container arrived at wrong location. Lock damaged. Couch and chair wet. Had to pay a fellow to go receive box an hour away. NEVER COULD GET customer service at 1-800-go-uhaul- I will never recommend this company if this is not resolved

The initial in-person information and registration process could have been more efficient and helpful. I feel more comfortable speaking to a person for such an important matter as a move. After talking one-on-one, I felt confident utilizing the online services for changes and other information.

I called the two U-Haul locations nearest to me and the phone stopped ringing after I pressed ‘2' as instructed. Employees should have the ability to answer the phone when they are not at the desk. I finally got an answer after calling multiple times.

Started out fine. Trailer was clean, well maintained was questionable.. Picked up trailer, drove it one mile, loaded it, found it had a flat tire. Didn't notice when it was empty. Drove back to dealer, they said it would be fine, just had a slow leak. Further investigation revealed a nail in the tire. Rather than swap out a tire or fix the flat, I had to call roadside assistance! They can install hitches but don't have the ability to change a tire? Ridiculous. Waited an hour while 4 employees stood around playing on their phones. But the roadside assistance from Fleet Services was very professional.

I was extremely pleased with this rental experience. They assisted with the hook-up of auto transport. The 869 mi were PROBLEM FREE. The truck and auto transport were troopers. I had never towed a vehicle, let alone over 800mi. The reliability of the equipment made the experience easier. THANK YOU!!!

Location apparently closed with early Sunday hours just before I returned, and I couldn't get the app to share my location even with new settings (maybe due to low battery I couldn't charge). Was able to use husband's phone fortunately, but perhaps there should be a way to continue on the app when I knew I was in CORRECT location! Also didn't get an email or text saying the check in was ok.

Truck had empty water bottles in the back. I could not use the mobile pick up or drop off. I had location service turned on it still couldn't find me. At drop off their was several people having the same issue. I called customer service and after holding for someone for 15 minutes my phone died. I had no choice but to just drop off the keys and leave. And after all that I was charged and extra 52,23 $. Fix your systems or I'll be going with Penske from now on.
