The computer mileage and actual truck mirage were different. I brought it to their attention before leaving and was told it was changed in the computer. When I dropped off the UHaul in Kennewick I was charged an additional 600 $because it showed I drove 1500 miles in the 6 hours I had the truck. The truck had a slow leak in one of the tires. We had to stop every 75 to 100 miles along the way to fill the tire with air and keep the pressure up. When I told the attendant they didn't appear to care. There was no consideration given in the price that I paid and they didn't even say we are sorry that you had that frustrating experience. I am very dissatisfied with my experience with U-Haul on this tripSTEFFY R.

I waited in an empty office for over 15 minutes after a telephone conversation where I stated I would be there at 4 pm (I was). I was told I would be given a discount for the wait. I was not told I would pay an after hours service fee of 20 $. My total mileage was less than 20 miles and the gas cost me almost 12 $. It cost nearly 100 $for a vehicle advertised at 19,95 $. Nope, I will not refer anyone to your business nor will I use it again.JANET A.

I eventually ended up getting the original trailer I reserved a week out. The only issue was when I made my reservation for Oct 22nd @ for a 2PM pickup, the customer service agent entered 2AM, hence the system cancelled the reservation after 2AM passed.. Everything was taken care of by local scheduling office- offered some credit. Happy with how the error was handled.JEFF Z.
Make sure your equipment is working properly. Got a truck and open trailer and before leaving thought we fixed the not working light to the trailer to find out we were wrong and had the rental the whole time with a not working light. A not working light that the employee conveniently couldn't recall to her lead that caused the lead to be extremely rude to me upon return of the rental equipment.BRONWYNN K.

Tiana (not sure if that is correct spelling), was awesome. I had to do a partial return. We did not want to leave the trailer out in the open - there are too many thieves out. Tiana was not able to do that because of a system restriction. So she told me she would take care of me when we brought the truck back. She absolutely did, remembered me as she said she would, and made good on her promise. Where we moved from, people truly suck. Good business no longer exists. She understood that and was great. I don't know if you truly realize when you have hired a great person, but you need to with her. Make her the highest rank possible as soon as you can. She deserves to be appreciated & recognized as a stellar employee. I would also like to say that when we picked up the trailer, the right rear driving light was inoperable. We drove across the country anyway - but its very important that all the lights work on all equipment. Most of our trip was during the night. The truck was absolutely awesome and we will use uhaul for our future move. We were really worried about the gas motor instead of diesel but it worked great. Had a great check in experience. However, I did have to go back to get my emailed receipt. They messed up in the system. They said I would get a 25 $VIP credit for the mess up and the wait time emailed to me. Still waiting for the email with the 25 $VIP credit. Guess I will have to go there again to get this. He was extremely helpful with expediting my UHaul truck. Also he was very progressional, patient and calm despite there being a huge line up and he was the only representative available. I gave this experience 4 stars only because this location did not have the appropriate number of staff for the day. I got my truck almost 35-40 minutes after my scheduled pick up time despite arriving 15 minutes early.RACHEL J.
U-Haul stated uboxes would be delivered Sunday and they did not show up for 2 more days and only delivered 2/3 of my boxes. U-Haul stated they would pickup boxes Saturday and they again did not show up and are refusing to pick them up in a timely manner. Overall mechanical condition of the trailer was good, some (expected) external damage evident. As far as the cleanliness, I needed to scrub and disinfect the inside because of the evidence of blood. You may wish to counsel your agents to, at least, elevate (for drainage) the nose of your trailers and hose the insides out. Overall, if I didn't need to clean the interior, the experience would have received a five star rating.JOHN C.
i Have never been more disappointed in my life. I can only think of one time that pickup was made on time. Delivery was horrible. The female scheduler was rude.The covers on the containers were non-existent, even during a time of rain. I had to go buy tarps to cover nine U-BOXES! I cannot blame the people working for U-HAUL. I understand that U-HAUL is not hiring enough people. I would never recommend moving with U-HAUL! I feel that I was "taken on a ride" financially.Deane P.

2 seperate agents assured me I would not be charged an extra day for my equipment when we discovered the original agen screwed up my contract. But a few hours after I dropped off my equipment i recieved receipts indicating I was indeed charged an extra day. I am now on an aprox 20min hold to speak to an agent to have these charges reversed.TRAVIS S.
My recent rental with Uhaul was less than ideal. The vehicle itself was in relatively good condition, aside from the broken side mirror (the mirror would not stay in place). I did tell the employee at the end of the day about it, and she seemed to take it seriously and apologized profusely. I was frustrated because when booking I took the time to figure out which, of the many locations, was most convenient (and the fewest miles away). I booked without a problem but then when I got a confirmation text a few days later the address was completely different. I didn't mind going to a different location, but would have preferred some communication about the switch. Also, when I called to confirm the switch, after being on hold for ten minutes someone in Sales picked up, and told me that he would put me through to someone who could help-he transferred me to a line where the wait time was approx 18 minutes. I did not wait. Then when we got to the store, there was only one employee working and we waited 45 minutes to pick up our truck. I was frustrated because I was still told that the truck had to be back at the original end time, despite waiting almost an hour to actually pick up the truck. Everything worked out in the end, but there were quite a few small things that made this rental more compilated than it should have been.Emma D.

When I first made the reservation online at the end it said 'due at the time of pick up 40,95 $' when I got there they wanted 109 $for the rental and fees and what not. Which is fine that they wanted the full amount but because of what my printable receipt/reservation said I was short of money and had to leave and come back. I think you should improve your online information so this doesn't happen again. I even have pics to back up what I'm saying and I was very upset that your website said something COMPLETELY DIFFERENT about the amount then the location did. I wanna make it clear that the location, rental, personal was all fine and great. But the difference in the price was a pain in the ass and gave me MISLEADING INFORMATION... Dropped off trailer on time and was supposed to get an email confirmation and didn't, they called and said I didn't drop it off. My rental van was not there when I arrived. I appreciated that the U-Haul rep was cool, calm, collected and reassuring! It turned out that my cargo van was less than a block away but waiting for the train to pass.ðŸ˜€ When I returned vehicle, the check in person had me go through all the equipment to see that everything was working. It was easy and stress free and I really appreciated that he stayed with me when some creepy guys descended on the parking lot. It was very much appreciated.
