I waited in line for an hour at 8am -then I got up there and he said he needed to call my emergency contact? In a Saturday early in the morning... and I couldn't rent without a call to someone. No other location has done this and my rental was done 30$ - he said just his location did this?

I stressed the clerck there was a good chance I would need the truck for more than a week and the clerck said there was no problem.surprise surprise I i was having dinner at a restaurant and I get a call on friday that I had to return the truck right away.i then mentioned that I still would use the truck another week when the manager demanded again for me to return it right away and that I should read the contract..little did I know!!!. I will use uhaul again but will make sure that my expectations are met before I leave the premises.i will not go back on Buckley again

The truck was real old and sounded like sitting on a load train ride. Something was wrong with the truck, it didn't start on the 2nd day, had to jump it. the check engine light came on when i got to my house 1st day.

I was quoted $54 over the phone. Got there and they tried to change me $160, but we got that worked out easily. I was told that someone would be back to hook up the trailer. Waited out back for 15 minutes. No one showed up. So I hooked up the trailer, checked lights and started to drive off. Ive been towing shit for a long time and know how to hook up a trailer. As I got around the front of the building an employee started yelling at me. Then accused me of stealing the trailer, saying they're the only two people hooking up trailers today, and they don't know how i managed to hook it up by myself and im not allowed to hook it up. But they were standing out front smoking... not doing their job and hooking up the trailer. Then I was told I could return the trailer after hours using the website. But when I logged into the website it said I have no equipment rentals... so I was unable to do so... called the next morning to let them know I dropped off the trailer. I was placed on hold for over 35 minutes before I hung up and called back when a very nice lady to tell me nearly immediately that it had been checked in that morning. Absolute shit service and shit employees.

Excellent service. The people are caring, polite and helpful. This place achieves excellence in business execution. They are the example and standard all U-Haul centers should achieve. I wish other companies could be as proficient and caring as the employees I interacted with. Their senior manager should be commended for training such a good crew. Attitude and moral is key. Excellent work, yes, job well done. Two thumbs way up!

This was before the worst customer experience I have ever had. I rent normally about 4 time per year from U-Haul and every time from this location I receive poor service. The counter person was very condensing and very disrespectful. The equipment when given the keys was not brought out to me and I had to go searching for it. Only to find a filthy unwashed truck with scratches all over it. When I returned the vehicle to then be accused of creating additional scratches that were already present before I rented it. Due to the amount of dirt on the vehicle it was difficult to see any small damage. After returning the vehicle I was made to wait over 25 minutes before anyone helped me. I am not going to recommend to anyone to rent from this location. I may never use U-Haul again after this experience.

The woman who rented the equipment to me was brash, utterly incompetent, and downright offensive in demeanor. I know good help can be hard to find, but U-haul shouldn't have to stoop so low as to hire people that could put customers at risk by not having basic comprehension of things as simple as correctly attaching trailers to vehicle hitches.

I attempted to reserve a truck for 2 weeks with U Haul, after I reserved, I was notified there was no 26 foot available. To make this short as possible, every attempt to rent was changed and in some cases, reserved a truck that I did not request. In fact, after finally located a truck, I was instructed to pick up at 8am, however, nobody was at the location at 8am, so at 930, I again called UHaul and was informed "I would recieved extra miles and an extra day for 130.00" for the many issues so after driving across town for the new truck, I was charged 287.00.

Called Friday 12-18 for and reserved a trailer. Got a call a few hours later that It would not be available and nothing else was. Lady on the phone was very rude about it too. Called back and nice lady got me one for Sunday afternoon. Went to pick that one up drive 1 hour to get to be told it wasn't going to be avaliable but one was over an hour drive away. I had to drive all the way across Denver during rush hour to get the trailer. Very disappointed in the service

Make sure the people who check you out tell you exactly what's on the contract because they charged me for 2 pay periods but yet told me I have 24hrs to rent it before being charged for a 2nd day, which I returned within the 24hrs. Highly upset and disappointed in their communication and customer service. They should have made it right but not everyone has it in them to make things right. Won't be going back ever again:

Overall I really don't like U-Haul. Every time I come to the facilities regardless of the location. The employees are extremely unorganized and no one ever seems to know anything. You guys should really invest more in training your staff. I have rented 4 trucks from you guys and a storage unit from you this year! I've spent spent a few thousand this year for sure. EVERY time I come to U-Haul it's a bad experience. I honestly mean that... I'm not upset with the employees. It's clear the issue is higher up. I cant think of any company that's worse

I booked my appt at another location and 1 minute before my appt, I was already there, the appt was changed to another location 3 miles away. I was already at previous location . No reason to cancel and change. but no one showed at the first lcoation. Then asked about the mileage charges they were gonna charge me as this is farther from my needs, they said no. also when dropping off, no on came out, so I went inside, from the snow, and at least 6-7 workers there, I was the 3rd customer and they told me to go out side and wait. I told them I already did for 5 mins. then they said go outside and wait, we'll get to you. I went out side and 2 employees walked by, 3 split, 1 came back 1 min later, said she had to move some carts, took 2 mins to move carts and then came to help check me out. Definitely not a place that wants to help.

My U-Haul broke down multiple times. They you send someone out to try and fix it he did not. Made me drive it back to the location with it broken. It broke down again on the way to the location. Worst experience I've ever had with U-Haul.

When someone has a tow dolly show them how to hook it up to the tow vehicle and show them how to load the car in person. Not a YouTube video.

Check-in was slow. Also was forced to give an "emergency contact" and they had to verify them before I could proceed with the transaction. Why does u-haul need an emergency contact? Why do they need to be called AND answer the phone? After my transaction at the counter was complete, I was sent outside to a wapping 0 employees. I was given no direction on which trailer was mine, or where to go. After standing around for about 5 to 10 minutes I finally found an employee cleaning out a truck who was friendly enough to help me, after I interrupted his work, explained the situation and asked for guidance. Returning the trailer was no different. Not a single person around to check back in the trailer. No one at the counter. No one in the lot. No one cleaning out other vehicles. 5 or 6 customers were all standing around waiting to return equipment. Eventually I began removing the trailer from my truck and an employee magically appeared. Needles to say I am EXTREMELY underwhelmed in the service. A full refund would be appreciated. I personally will not be returning to that location for any services. And I will likely be looking for a new trailer rental company.

This is the second time I have reserved a Uhaul using the full service location nearest me, only to have my reservation changed to a different, less convenient location. The first time, it resulted in me not being able to get all the equipment I needed for a move (dolly, furniture dolly, etc.) and the second time resulted in me having to drive 20 minutes further away. I have come to conclude that Uhaul operates a bait and switch reservation system, and thus it has left a sour taste and leaves me disinclined to use Uhaul again.

The inclosed trailer I used had patches in both front corners that was sealed with silicone and looked like there was an attempt to stop leaking. I went thru some rain during my trip from Aurora Colorado to Lincolnton Georgia. When I unloaded my things I had several wet and damaged boxes and items. When I spoke to the person where I turned it in it didn't seem to be a concern or even anything they would be willing to help me with. I will not use uhaul ever again.They also told me that I would save 50 dollars if I turned it in in Augusta instead of the town I was going to, I drove an hour and ten minutes to Augusta just to find out from the employee that I was scammed and it only saved them money. No more uhaul for me.

There was a guy there Adrian I think? That guy was great. The shift manager that day was horrible. I wanted in the store for 15 minutes unattended to. Had to go ask Adrian who was cleaning a truck for help. He went and got the store manager and one other person. I needed a little tow behind. When the “s” clips on the chains didn't clear the frame holes on the VW, we were told there were no other options. I looked around at fleet of 50 trucks and a bunch of different trailers and questioned him on it. My girlfriend was pretty upset as we have rented from this location before. We will not be back to this location. What a lazy way to treat customers. Didn't go in and see if he could find something at another location, just started to offer a discount on gas if we used a truck, but only after our recommendation.

Disciple and retraining of the location manager (Nathan Kreiman). His blatant disregard for my express of disagreement and c concern of charges on my file bill that were added in error and his unwillingness to discuss the matter cause me to raise my voice and his only resolution was to kick me out of the store and call the police. I waited for 20-30 more minutes waiting for the police to show to get a hard copy of the original contract before leaving as I requested AND a breakdown and reasoning for the additional charges which were clearly WRONG that I am now awaiting a credit for the difference that I was overcharged. His demeanor and horrible customer services was unacceptable. If his day is rough (which seemed to be the case when I walked in), that does not justify his unwillingness to actually help the customer.

The first trailer I was given was functional and clean. Service was fine and normal. And during my ensuing personal walk around of the trailer, prior to leaving the facility, I noted the license plate was expired. I notified the facility personnel and after several computer checks/phone calls they were able to give me an alternate trailer with valid license plates, however it was in much need of an exterior wash. It could not be washed because the hose had been frozen and damaged. I was at the facility for approximately an hour and a half picking up the trailer. Staff was nice. Improvements would be, catch these kind of problem ( expired tags) before customers do and get the hose fixed or an alternate plan like run a longer hose from inside , or wash the trailers at a car wash nearby ??

My husband is Exempt from wearing a mask. He was not allowed in the building. However, according to our governor these businesses need to provide alternate means to help those that are exempt. My husband said that the employee needed to help him outside then and it took an hour for the employee to ablige. Please review the mandate very carefully and follow the whole mandate and not just what you want to.

This was absolutely the worst experience I have ever had. Our u-haul was not there when we arrived because someone else kept it out longer than they should have and the reps and or manager had no idea where it was or when it was coming back. We received a call stating to come back and pick up another truck at 3 but within 2 hours of having it, we realized the door would not close at all. We called roadside assistance but it took him over an hour to get there and over 5 hours to fix the issue. The manager at the center would not give us another Uhaul to use so that we would not have to sit there all day and night while it was being fixed. Then made us pay for this ridiculousness without so much as an offer of a discount. I WILL NEVER EVER USE UHAUL AGAIN and I will tell everyone I know to find another company.

Over charged for a 4hr use. Then charged an extra day when the vehicle was sitting on the lot. A $31 total charge with a full tank on return for a 4hr use. I experienced an issue with the storage facility where upon checking my unit the lock would not open with the key. When I involved one of the staff members (Kimberly Cole) about the issue, which she nonchalantly prompted that my lock may have been tampered with and suggested how to get the lock off with a tool. Once that was unsuccessful, the on duty manager (Brandellyn Cunningham) stated that to gain access to my belongings I would need to call a lock smith since they did not have anything to cut the lock with on-site, which she assured I could be reimbursed or credited for the $89.99 if I brought my receipt. I inquired about the refund/credit and having management check security footage to ensure my lock was in fact tampered with and to consider relocating my belongings. But instead I was given the run around each time I tried to get in touch with the General Manager, Robert. Overall, my experience with customer service at this facility was very poor and my concern for the safety of my belongs was never met.

Pick up was very slow. Five people in line. Only one clerk. Portable hand radios to get trucks for other customers and my trailer were dead. Power kept going out and computers would freeze. I checked in online. But I still had to go inside and waste 45 minutes of my time. Why check in online if I have to go in? Overall I think the customer service was awful.

I was supposed to have a u-haul location closer to my house that was confirmed 2 weeks ago and at the last minute it was changed to this one 15 miles away so I got charged for all those extra miles so its really not fair after customer service assured me 3 times the proper location.

I had a reservation the guy didn't care he made another reservation for me my truck was parked in the back he didn't have the truck warmed up it was cold thick ice on the windows no ice scraper took me an hour after I got the truck to warm it up and leave i will never go to this location again he said it was going to be an extra hundred dollars depending on my card and just laughed he was rude and made this experience bad I had my reservation at 9 buy the time the line moved it was 1030 n he put till 9 the next day

The staff is unprofessional and unhelpful. The computers were down, which I understand is not their fault. But they let us stand around For ten minutes before telling is them they told us they couldn't help. What they meant was wouldn't help. The young gentleman called me dude, 4-5 times. I finally got on the app, but when I took off my mask to take the required picture, two people said,” Sir, you have to wear I mask” no kidding. I knew that but again had to take the required picture. They did not attempt to be helpful. Our pick up location was changed the day before. Not a good experience what so ever.

The access hours for the storage unit without after-hours access was not all that convenient and paying extra for after hours access was not convenient, but other than that, I really appreciate how easy U-Haul made the move.

I was very pleased with how polite everyone was. I particularly appreciated Nicole's patience in explaining why she needed additional contacts on the account. She explained everything slowly and efficiently, and then she walked us over to my storage and showed how everything worked. I do want to share when I first called the lady who answered the phone was very nice and helpful given that things changed for me just that day and I needed a truck, moving help and a storage unit. The parking lot is trashy and the snow and ice accumulation was dangerous....ice falling off the roof and gutter was dangerous....the parking lot needs to maintained better.

The latch to my locker was extremely difficult to open, appearing to be damaged. I was billed for a full month having used the locker for only 16 days. I was informed that UHaul does not pro rate.

The only problem we had (aside from a 1-hour delay due to a fire alarm no one knew how to turn off) was the extreme heat on the 2nd floor. At times, it was close to 100 degrees, hotter than outside.
