I waited in line for an hour at 8am -then I got up there and he said he needed to call my emergency contact? In a Saturday early in the morning... and I couldn't rent without a call to someone. No other location has done this and my rental was done 30$ - he said just his location did this?
I stressed the clerck there was a good chance I would need the truck for more than a week and the clerck said there was no problem.surprise surprise I i was having dinner at a restaurant and I get a call on friday that I had to return the truck right away.i then mentioned that I still would use the truck another week when the manager demanded again for me to return it right away and that I should read the contract..little did I know!!!. I will use uhaul again but will make sure that my expectations are met before I leave the premises.i will not go back on Buckley again
My only suggestion is to use some generic air freshener in your vehicles!
The truck was real old and sounded like sitting on a load train ride. Something was wrong with the truck, it didn't start on the 2nd day, had to jump it. the check engine light came on when i got to my house 1st day.

Everything was great
I was quoted $54 over the phone. Got there and they tried to change me $160, but we got that worked out easily. I was told that someone would be back to hook up the trailer. Waited out back for 15 minutes. No one showed up. So I hooked up the trailer, checked lights and started to drive off. Ive been towing shit for a long time and know how to hook up a trailer. As I got around the front of the building an employee started yelling at me. Then accused me of stealing the trailer, saying they're the only two people hooking up trailers today, and they don't know how i managed to hook it up by myself and im not allowed to hook it up. But they were standing out front smoking... not doing their job and hooking up the trailer. Then I was told I could return the trailer after hours using the website. But when I logged into the website it said I have no equipment rentals... so I was unable to do so... called the next morning to let them know I dropped off the trailer. I was placed on hold for over 35 minutes before I hung up and called back when a very nice lady to tell me nearly immediately that it had been checked in that morning. Absolute shit service and shit employees.
If one of you is on the phone, that left nobody to assist at the counter. I feel like the guy on the phone should call back the person on the phone if there is only one person at the counter. The people in the store standing should have priority
Excellent service. The people are caring, polite and helpful. This place achieves excellence in business execution. They are the example and standard all U-Haul centers should achieve. I wish other companies could be as proficient and caring as the employees I interacted with. Their senior manager should be commended for training such a good crew. Attitude and moral is key. Excellent work, yes, job well done. Two thumbs way up!
This was before the worst customer experience I have ever had. I rent normally about 4 time per year from U-Haul and every time from this location I receive poor service. The counter person was very condensing and very disrespectful. The equipment when given the keys was not brought out to me and I had to go searching for it. Only to find a filthy unwashed truck with scratches all over it. When I returned the vehicle to then be accused of creating additional scratches that were already present before I rented it. Due to the amount of dirt on the vehicle it was difficult to see any small damage. After returning the vehicle I was made to wait over 25 minutes before anyone helped me. I am not going to recommend to anyone to rent from this location. I may never use U-Haul again after this experience.

Nothing, Im so impressed with the truck that I rented.
The woman who rented the equipment to me was brash, utterly incompetent, and downright offensive in demeanor. I know good help can be hard to find, but U-haul shouldn't have to stoop so low as to hire people that could put customers at risk by not having basic comprehension of things as simple as correctly attaching trailers to vehicle hitches.

I attempted to reserve a truck for 2 weeks with U Haul, after I reserved, I was notified there was no 26 foot available. To make this short as possible, every attempt to rent was changed and in some cases, reserved a truck that I did not request. In fact, after finally located a truck, I was instructed to pick up at 8am, however, nobody was at the location at 8am, so at 930, I again called UHaul and was informed "I would recieved extra miles and an extra day for 130.00" for the many issues so after driving across town for the new truck, I was charged 287.00.
Called Friday 12-18 for and reserved a trailer. Got a call a few hours later that It would not be available and nothing else was. Lady on the phone was very rude about it too. Called back and nice lady got me one for Sunday afternoon. Went to pick that one up drive 1 hour to get to be told it wasn't going to be avaliable but one was over an hour drive away. I had to drive all the way across Denver during rush hour to get the trailer. Very disappointed in the service
Make sure the people who check you out tell you exactly what's on the contract because they charged me for 2 pay periods but yet told me I have 24hrs to rent it before being charged for a 2nd day, which I returned within the 24hrs. Highly upset and disappointed in their communication and customer service. They should have made it right but not everyone has it in them to make things right. Won't be going back ever again:

Overall I really don't like U-Haul. Every time I come to the facilities regardless of the location. The employees are extremely unorganized and no one ever seems to know anything. You guys should really invest more in training your staff. I have rented 4 trucks from you guys and a storage unit from you this year! I've spent spent a few thousand this year for sure. EVERY time I come to U-Haul it's a bad experience. I honestly mean that... I'm not upset with the employees. It's clear the issue is higher up. I cant think of any company that's worse

I picked the trailer up at 9:00 in the morning on wednesday Dec 16 and returned it on thursday Dec 17 at 9:00 in the morning. But I got charged for 2 days rental!!! This sucks and same does the employee's attitudes
