Gerald V.Veronica Williams was absolutely rude when I was voicing my frustration also threatened to cancel my reservation too and as well as her other co workers didn't make anything any easier with the process in the hook up to a trailer. They don't know how to hook chains properly. Constantly getting questioned about things and having multiple people tell you what to do as if your incompetent in doing anything. When I accidentally backed up to far one person went so far as smacking my pickup. I don't appreciate this store and absolutely refuse to go here and may just never use this company ever again.

I paid $100 something at the location and then when returning the truck I had to pay over $250?! That is ridiculous. Definitely not recommending to no one.

David I.everything - I was called 1 hr before pick up time and asked by disbatch to come 45m later. I came at 12:45p and my reservation had been cancelled. they tried to send me 5 min up the street to a location that didnt have a truck and i knew that because my initial reservation with that other location had been cancelled the night prior and i had spoke to someone at that other location about it already. The only good thing about this location was Phillip - he ended up getting me into a truck that had just been returned, guy worked his butt off and was multitasking with ease and was so nice to everyone he was helping. That man should be the GM, more on that later... Phillip did my contract and sent me outside then an associate outside told me which truck to get in and it was not the contracted vehicle # I was issued. Truck that associate outside told me to get in had keys to another truck in the cup holder that I gladly saw and brought to the outside associate. The 2 furniture dolly's that I had paid to rent were not in the back of the truck when I checked before driving of so I told the associate outside & they said they dont have any at their location. When we turned it in and pointed out the truck # difference the GM (Richard) was with another customer and acted like we needed to wait on him when we had things to do. Other staff members were too busy loudly watching a cowboys football game and are just likely under cross trained and under utilized by Richard in general so only he can do the majority of computer oriented tasks and customer rental assistance. Bathroom was disgusting. They took from me and then kept my user copy of the truck agreement. I fail to see how this is my mess to rectify so I told them to call me if they needed anything and no one has called me. He asked me to email him pictures of the mileage, which i wont be doing... because I fail to see how this is my fault and seems like he should know how many miles it had from the last contract it was sent out on not from my documentation alone. If he had ever called me about it then he would know this. I'd like to hear how many miles he thinks I should be charged for and i'll let him know if hes right. I'd like to see that anyone else in that place other than Phillip is actually competent. From what I experienced and witnessed the only person who knows how to run that place, get stuff done right, and effectively communicate is Phillip. Only reason I gave 1 star is because that place only has one super star in it... and that is PHILLIP!

I made an online reservation for 1:30pm and still did not recieve the keys until 2pm; what is the point of the reservation if you don't do much with that information. I saw about 4 other employees in the store, so why is only one guy distractedly checking people in while not so subtly watching the cowboys game on the tv. If people are going to have to wait, why not have a waiting area with chairs, beverages, and maybe the tv in that space instead of where only employees can watch it?
Jonathan F.Staff was great at location. Equipment was clean but the truck was old, shaked, rattled and just felt worn out at around 185k miles. Engine and transmission felt ok but the chassis didn't inspire confidence. With this said, I will rent from this location again due to the customer service. Good crew.

Thomas G. | Expérience généraleTook the man in front of me more than half an hour to rent his trailer and in the end his paperwork still wasn't right. When staff came in and told the employee it was a problem she replied she would not fix it and to get someone else. I reserved my unit online but still had to spend 15 minutes with the employee and do it all over again. I was only able to get mine done properly because the manager finally came in to fix the female employee's previous problem she refused to fix. PLEASE TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES BETTER. All of the staff outside were polite, friendly, and helpful. Inside was just the one woman who barely knew what she was doing. When I left there were at least 3 people waiting behind me. If Sunday is busy please staff the counter better or at least with someone competent. Worst experience renting a unit I've ever had at any facility. Will not ever rent here again when my free month is up.

They refused to follow up for months and I had to file disputes and call corporate number many times which also proved to be problematic.

Upon returning the truck my brother needed a rental and their lazy employee decided to put a rental unit in my name WITHOUT MY PERMISSION and then has been harassing me four 3 years about a unit I DID NOT RENT NOR HAVE ANY ITEMS IN SAID FACILITY. I have told them this on several occasions, even talked to their manager there as well but yet they still continued to harass me for payment. This ridiculous and a lazy employee that didn't want to do their job and change all the information over and it has caused me nothing but headaches over the last few years.

When I went to remove the items, the freight elevator was out of service ... and it had been like that for over one month. Therefore, we had to take all of those items down two flights of stairs ... that should not have happened if they fixed the elevator soon after it broke down. I would not advice anyone to store items above the ground floor.

BERDA S. | Premières impressionsThe facility itself was fine but the staff at the facility is what brings the score down, except one grey haired gentleman who had owner on his badge and he is not the owner listed on the website. But, the owner on the website was just as rude as any employee there. When I went to access the unit, my access card was no longer valid and, an extra lock was on the unit. I was told it was because I did not use an approved lock style. Well, it seems my lock was working just fine because no one broke into my unit. And, what was really funny, the people who were locked out for non-payment had the same style lock I had on mine. So, I guess my lock did do the job correctly. Basically, they wanted me to buy a lock from them and since I did not I was locked out of my own unit. What really made the experience even better was, the manager/owner had to break into the lock he had put on my unit because they had lost the key. It took him all of 3 min, once he had all the tools and such with him, to get into my unit. How secure was this lock? I know my combination so it only took me 15 seconds and no tools. To wrap it up, I paid my bill on time. Had my unit locked with a solid lock and, was locked out of my unit electronically and with an "approved" lock. Basically, I don't plan on using U-Haul storage units any longer. I paid my bill on-time each and every quarter and left the unit in the shape it was when I first rented it over 2 years ago. I moved to another facility which was lower priced, larger, easier to access and, has friendly staff. Also our move was made difficult because someone had put a couch into the middle of the hallway and no one had moved it in over 2 weeks. I bet the couch is still sitting there as of this writing 4 days after moving out.
