When I picked up the dolly, I was told how to return it after hours, but I was not reminded that I could avoid a $20 charge if I checked it back in on the app. When I saw the charge the next morning, I looked closer at the contract and saw the fine print. Wish you would've mentioned that. I also picked up the dolly he checked the lights said they were good and they weren't. By the time I noticed the right tail light didn't work, was down the road.

Upon rental, the uhaul employee had to take the time to sweep out and mop the trailer. Also, a clearance light on the back of the trailer was burnt out and so was the tag light.

The employee changed the mileage on the computer to what the odometer read before I accepted it. When I returned the rental the email sent to me after checkout charged me for 10 xtra miles because the employee apparently failed to change the actual mileage. I called the number fir the store once I got home and was told someone would contact me in approx 3 to 5 business days. This is a huge inconvenience for me so I just returned to the store and discussed the issue with the same employee that checked me in. He admits to making the clerical error with the mileage, writes down on a receipt copy to refund 10 miles of fees due to error. He did state that it would be around 48 hrs which I accepted that. It would have been so much easier if the paperwork was correct when released to the customer. I'm going to wait til Monday, April 21st and see if my ten miles has been refunded back to my bank account, if not then I shall contact UHAUL again in person. It wouldn't bother me so much but it seemed like this day EVERYTHING went wrong, and for no apparent reason. From now on PLEASE be sure the paperwork is correct before you release the equipment to the customer. Saves alot if time, hassle, and negativity. Please refund my 10 miles back..... I had to use live chat because something was wrong with the app. I also had trouble when I went to pick up the van because the app wasn't showing my reservation. Then when I was able to get the van a customer parked a U Haul van behind the van I was getting. But she went in to complain about the van & was given another one & she wouldn't move the one that she parked behind the one I was getting & I ended up sitting at the U Haul store an extra 30 minutes until someone moved the van.
NORA MTwo gentlemen who worked with us were very cooperative and helpful. We received an empty tank so had to come back in and make a correction to the initial paperwork. On our return of the truck one employee went negative immediately when we had a question about the fuel level, and she began reading the small print to us. I had to leave as I was afraid I might have said something I would later regret. My wife stayed and apparently worked out the issue. The point is, the customer is not familiar with the culture or process so needs help, reading the fine print is a guaranteed way to "piss " this customer off. It looks like the receipt handled the situation in a fair manner, but customer service with at least one of the employees needs a little training. Oh, I apparently parked the truck in the wrong spot too, so rather than just handle the lack of perfection she told us to go back out a drive through the tent area or something. Another employee saw the issue and told me out or earshot of her that he would take care of it. Paul

The last truck I rented was covered in water which I had to clean out myself to use it. I rent from here multiples times per month but only because I don't have any other convenient options.

I dropped off early and the app tried to change me for a whole other day. The app is inconvenient on dropping off because they want a ton of pictures. This location is the worst drop off

TIMOTHY MI had been going to this location for all my rental needs for the past 2 years now. This last visit was absolutely horrible!!! I had rented a 6' x 12' trailer with a ramp gate and went through the rental process and paid for it. Then the person hooking up the trailer named ( Zack ) would not let me take the trailer out saying it was too low to the ground and his manager was going to be there soon and would have a problem with it. The hitch I had on the SUV had to be altered in order to bring up enough height below the clerk would allow it to leave the site. This was a big hassle as I had to go all the way back home and remove the ball-attachment on the hitch and install it with the hitch inverted to show more height and clearance. I had to make 2 trips and put more wear and tear on my car, waste more time and gas cost just to get his approval after I already paid in advance to leave the site. This also set me back and was off schedule due to this hassle. Then after returning back to try and pickup the trailer I had already paid for in advance... The clerk's managers was there and was giving me a hard time as well! I almost didn't get to take the trailer over them talking to themselves thinking my SUV wouldn't handle the trailer when I had previously rented many, many times now a 6' x 12' enclosed cargo trailer hauling arcade machines and never had this hassle before with this location?! I had a very, very god awful experience and am seriously considering on going to one of your competitors the next time I need to rent something to haul my things in the next time around! Not a very good way to treat your existing customers like this here!!! The people at this location made me late, Cost me extra time and money making multiple trips to fix my hitch to their acceptance and satisfaction. And then begin harassed whether my SUV would be able to haul the trailer or not after I had done so on multiple occasions lead to this terrible experience at this location. !0 % poor customer services most definitely on this recent visit! ~X(

GARY WI had a reservation set for 6:45, for a mobile pick up, but was not made aware of the length of time it would take to get everything set up/approved before actually getting a truck. It would have been nice to have a heads up of "arrive 20 minutes early for paperwork" on the reservation. Also, the truck I was assigned was not at the location and I was advised that truck was also not available for Mobile pick-up which I had selected, which makes absolutely no sense. Of course, I find this out 1 minute after the store closes so I have to call and talk to someone on the phone for 30 minutes to get assigned a truck. The mobile reservation process has some serious kinks that need to be worked out, but everything else was fine.

I made a comment to the person i was on the phone with that i was an hour behind she butts in and says we dont have to service you this is her business she late because she decided to do her hair today. Called the police to have me escorted out

We told many uhaul representatives about the website issue and none of them could fix it, all of them said they could see the reservation on their end but I never could.

I was forced to pay a double payment I was forced to pay late fees I was forced to be moved in and moved out of my storage. I was forced to do all kinds of things, and then, when I moved out of my storage just the other day, they tried to force me to go back up there and take pictures and threaten to charge me if I didn't however, I did not go up there and take the pictures because I didn't feel like that. That was my responsibility. I had my storage there for four years and the last four months was terrible. Just absolutely terrible and that is why I no longer have storage there. I would've just assumed so my stuff to keep my stuff there another day not to mention , the lady behind the counter flirted with my husband and batted her eyes and called him hon and caressed his shoulder completely disrespectful. that place used to be so good and out is just a complete wreck. I should've never been forced to pay any of those things when it was their fault when my account got messed up, I simply went in to get a new card because mine wouldn't work anymore because I've had it for so long, it was despicable quite frankly.

Neither of the two agents in the store seemed to be phased at the inconvenience. The store manager eventually told one of the agents, supposedly through text, to give me the second unit without charge. I was told to go to the 2 separate units, which were not next to each other and locks would be in them. They were not. I called the inside of the store and had to come back in and get the 2 locks. Which thankfully they did not charge me for and gave them to me at no cost. This was the ABSOLUTE worse customer service experience I have ever had. As a manager myself, the manner in which this was handled was deplorable. Attempted to contact customer service and spoke to a representative by the name of Kevin. He then stated he was transferring me to customer service and disconnected the line. Completely unprofessional on each and every level through this entire move. My 55" television, lamp and bar stand were broken. Lesson learned. Will NOT do business with this company again and will NEVER recommend this to anyone in a move.

I also was not aware there was no lift or elevator for super heavy/large items, I had to walk back to the main office and ask someone to walk me over to the other building and instruct me on how to use the pads, garage doors etc. It was overwhelming for me personally.

When asked for pricing on all 5x5 units, wondered why the 5x5x7 was cheaper than the 5x5x4, so I asked if the 7' tall unit was a unit that was off the ground. Was told "don't believe so"… well it was. Also, no one told us, the entryway door to the unit only allowed for a height of 5'-8". I had something that 6' tall so I had to disassemble it to put it in the unit. The entryway notice would've been nice to know ahead of time, as it was almost a foot and a half less than the actual ceiling height of 7'. Other than that, pricing is reasonable and it went smooth. No one took my card info when signing up for the unit, so I hope it's on file and I won't come back to an empty unit. I will try calling in the meantime to figure out if it is on file.

There were moments I needed to locate info that was needed and Virginia assured me that it was ok to take my time. I needed help with various things and she was there with a smile and inviting personality every time. She even kept up her positive and helpful attitude as I waited while she attended to the phones, always asking if the person would please hold while she finished with her customer. She did not fluster or get annoyed that she was being needed in multiple capacities and I really appreciate her patience and awareness and I'm sure the person on the phone was happy to wait due to her kind tone. She was just a blessing to work with while myself and family were stressing over a move. I also want to point out that she is very genuine and connected with me and my mom very naturally in conversation. She shared with us personal but appropriate things that made us feel welcomed and not alone in the somewhat stressful situation that we were in. I believe just from our short encounter that she has a good heart and I'm sure she is a bright moment in many others days weather it be friend, family, coworker, boss, or stranger.

Water is great, but zero cups. The biggest issue was on Saturday it closed at 10 p.m. and I'm sure if I had backed in would the doors let me finish unloading. Instead I used 30 miles instead of the 5 I originally had. Other than that, it's good place to store especially if your stuff is close to the location

Then I was given a much smaller unit than I ask for. Again another trip to the counter to get that straighten out. I spent 3 hours in total standing in line 2 days in a row. You need more workers, and better trained.

They removed it from the building immediately why making the customer aware which was ignoring them. Then when the customer started paying attention she got mad about the propane tank being placed outside they explained to her they were trying to make her aware she became very irate with them. The two caps are composure while explaining procedure and the danger of having a propane in the building., And the lady kept cussing them out and they still maintain composure. If this was my business I would have both of them on my staff and take care of them appropriately. In my eyes they deserve coodles for doing a great job. great job ladies you are A1 customer service people in my book with your great smiles thank you for taking care of me properly in my time of need, and looking out for my safety. I figured it out in my own. You shouldn't have people who don't care for costumers working there. It was a terrible experience. I got charged three times the mileage because she forgot to mentioned how important this was and to top it she tried making me feel stupid for her not knowing how to do her job correctly.

It took them 30 min tkk ok locate another one which ended up being two smaller units up a ton of stairs. They put me in 2 smaller units and sold me licks that apparently they don't approve of because every time I came to add or take away things there was an extra lock on my unit. When I went I ask about it they said it's because you have a lock that isn't approved. The lock they sold me and told me to use for my unit. I'm hey have no idea what's going on, what's available or how to maintain the availability. It was a mess and I don't know how they're keeping up with anything at this point.

I was told at that time that the unit was on the first floor and the cost was $109,95 a month. When i went to the storage facility i was told the unit was not on the first floor and the cost for a unit was $129,95 a month for a unit on the first floor. I showed the gentleman my paperwork stating the quoted cost and explained i cannot do the stairs at my age and since there is no elevator i have to use a first floor unit. He told me the person i spoke with does not know this facility and does not know what are first floor units. I asked to speak with a manager and was told the manager was not there. I asked him to write down the name of the manager so i could call to get the pricing resolved. He did not do this. I am also unhappy that the first floor unit is smaller than the other one due to the ceiling height. The other issue is the lack of lighting in the unit. It is very difficult to see to move or find items. I would like to be called about these issues.

The fact i had to come back to fix a problem that should have been resolved the same day as it happened just by following the order of return but instead it caused a whole mess and a half and multiple trips and even more reversed payments and staff being embarrassing loud and over talking me when I was explaining things to my grandmother. But honestly If I hadn't kept my multiple original copies of the transactions I would most likely still be told the wrong information about the reversed transactions and made to think that I need to pay because I didn't pay for anything because I'm getting first months rent free when infact I had proof to prove them wrong and not end up getting overcharged. It is infallible to think that employees and even employers would tolerate such an act of unproffessionablism towards the customers.

When I went to get information on my unit and upgraded the unit I mentioned it and was asked if the truck rental was local or out of state and when I said it was local, the guy told me that it doesn't qualify! I came back in a couple of days later and started the online check in for the truck and when I went in the guy helping me had the wrong name and told me the rental was canceled and then he said my rental must not have gone through and was being argumentative about it. I had to pull up the text confirmation to get the truck! When I made the reservation I included a dolly and furniture pads and upon finishing the rental was told there isn't a dolly, I was refunded for it but still. The whole process was pressing! I went in the building to return the uhaul and was told to take the key outside and someone will get it then was told to pull up to equipment return and someone will check it in and send me a receipt. I sat there for 25 minutes and no one bothered to stop and speak to me until I decided to leave. The big units are upstairs when they should be on bottom floor. This place isn't ran well, the employees seem annoyed to be there. I won't recommend this place for anything.

The manager Justin was called he was very RUDE! hung up in me and my daughter face. I had to get a storage some where else! Anyone looking for a storage this is not the place to go!!!

I didn't get to the facility until after hours it took me 45 minutes to find my unit for me only to discover that I could not install a washer and dryer in it as it was an upper level Unit. I was unable to exchange unit for a more appropriate one so I ended up having to cancel my friend home find another place for my belongings and still had to pay for one month of rental when I never actually accessed it.
