I reserved my units online, but when I arrived, one of my units was not available. This was very upsetting as I had to settle for a smaller unit that cost more money. Luckily, I was able to work it out for myself. I don't understand how I can reserve a unit that is NOT available.DENISE W.
Clearly it is a bad idea to rent a truck that you have to drop off when the store is closed. I used the link for my check-in and had it confirm my location and the website said that was all I needed to do for an after-hours check-in. My understanding was that by doing so I would not receive a $20 fee for the overnight check-in. The website did not ask for mileage, pictures of the truck's placement or condition, not did it give me anything to sign. This morning I was charged an extra $20, which is literally more than the truck rental. Pretty stupid set-up. I am not averse to renting again, but I will never rent a truck from here that cannot be dropped off before closing. Fool me once....CHRISTOPHER S.
Worst person on front desk.He has no manners to talk. I reserved my bigger U-Haul on 3rd May & he gave me smaller one. He said I reserved only a day before. I showed email which I received. He said, you are lucky that you are getting this one though I reserved well in advance. I will never use this location to rent a U-Haul again.SAURABH B.

For some reason, the Uhaul App wasn't working right as in the past. I tried to return the equipment on the app, and after taking a picture of the equipment, it would refresh and start from the beginning. I had to login into my account using my internet browser and returning it that way. The "Share 24/7 self-service" option wasn't available on pickup, and I had to wait until the location opened, which was very inconvenient for a job I had to do overnight. Other than that, the equipment was complete; the chains had all the rubber retainers, and all lights were operational.ARNALDO C.

Rented me a dirty van, the customer service person acted like I was bothering them. Then the location charged me a $20 after-hours-return fee because their website wouldn't let me check in the vehicle online because the website couldn't verify my location.Nancy T.
This was my first bad U-Haul experience. The guy who was supposed to bring back my truck, decided to keep it for another day! WHY DOESN'T U-HAUL IMPOSE BIG FINE FOR BEING LATE OR EXTENDING TO NEW DAY??? We only had one-bedroom to move, and could have done this with a 10' Truck, but to be safe, got a 15' truck. In the end, we were given a 26' truck! This was very difficult to maneuver into the apartment parking lot, and just to maneuver in general. So we got started 90 minutes late, which then caused us to miss the "storage gate time" window, which meant we had to unload the next morning instead of that night. U-Haul only charged the guy-who-didn't-bring-back-the-truck, a $30 "extra day" cost (normal cost!). Geeze, he took our truck, and you made it cheap/easy decision for him. If he's to return it on Saturday, especially -- the fine for being late should be something COSTLY... so that people won't do it. It was very upsetting that U-Haul policy played a big role in screwing us over. U-Haul should revise that policy! It makes me a little scared to rent from U-Haul again on Saturday, with how easy this could happen. All said - your customer service was great! He did discount the 26' truck, to at least make the 26' truck not cost us more than the 15' truck would have cost -- so we didn't have to pay more, and he was great/helpful. Kudos to him. I gave the "POOR" rating above ONLY because of how U-Haul made it "so cheap/easy" for that guy to not bring our truck back on-time! Please change that policy, to protect your customers, so that they have far-less-chance of not getting their truck.Brian K.
They never said anything about any extra charges. The total they show is not accurate, and they will go into your account and take how money they please. Very upset this was not explained to me when I was at the store. The receipt I had from the shows a 0 balance. Now all of of a sudden they saying a different balance. Fix your website. I went to 2 different stores because I had a confirmation number of a rental. I get there and there's no vehicle for me, and the people are very very rude. It's like it was a big inconvenience I came in the store! One girl had sunglasses on, all leaned back in the chair and was rude about not having any vehicles. Another place, lady opened the door and said what can I do for you. I told them about me confirmation on Uhaul and she said, do you see any vehicles out here for you, NO! You have a lot of rude and unprofessional people working for you! I'd fix your website so it's correct and not wasting people's time when they're trying to move. I would also go more professional people because they're all pretty rude and see bothered when they have to do their job!Rosalie A.

The line was long. The person in front was annoyed that the customer at the counter was "shooting the sh*t" with the owner, holding up the line. The pickup I reserved wasn't available so I had to get something different. The dolly I reserved also wasn't available. There was an employee that seemingly disappeared and the owner couldn't find him. I was in line for 20-30 minutes before getting my rental. It ended up working itself out. I had a friend loan me a dolly and family member loan me a pickup truck. Was able to actually get it done faster with a cargo van and a pickup but not thanks to uhaul. When I returned the rental, the employee who took my return equipment seemed not to be in a great mood. I am pretty sure he's been with uhaul for years because I think he was there last time I moved. Overall it was not the service I expected but at least it's not like NYC or chicago.Sean G.
Our truck trailer had oil everywhere and it was super unsafe. We did not receive any of the rentals we ordered with the truck and when we returned it, we asked for a refund and they said they would give us a partial refund and then never did.Makaylei P.
