I was great full to have a storage facility where I did not worry about my belongings. Used the area for 4 years and was able to enter when needed. Owners were very friendly and and helpful. Will use again if ever need a storage unit

Marguerite P | Overall ExperienceNice at first, very poor customer service and very rude when it comes to communications about late fees and paying bills that are past due, which 90% of Americans come into from time to time. I was contacted by a new employee because the owners were on vacation. I told them I would make a payment when I was in town on the following Monday to avoid late fees but, when I went to pay - they had already issued an eviction and tacked on not one but two late fees and an attorney's lien fee. I was okay with one late fee and admitting that the late payment was my fault, but when they wanted to evict me and charge me a lien fee of $90 for making good on my payment arrangement, which was not after but on the last day I was allowed to make my payment per the contract, just due to being after a certain time of day and they didn't want to wait until end of business for me to make my way into their facility to make my payment, that's when I decided I didn't care to do business with them anymore. The owner was not willing to budge even to make good on the arrangement I made with her/their "new employee that didn't know what he was doing", and so instead of paying my fees this time around once it went to late status, I let them tack their double late fees and TWO attorney's Liens (completely greedy and money hungry) I decided to let them get their $20 dollars from whoever would buy my storage unit and inherit my things that weren't worth paying $50 a month for a dirty facility with poor customer service and snotty snarky attitudes. I'll miss my alligator leather shoes that were probably dirty and had cobwebs all over, but I'm sure someone will love the score they made. All I can say is that these guys will jerk you around, charge you ridiculous fees, act like they're doing you a service with a snicker and a frown and a holier-than-thou attitude, and then act like giving you a notice that your bill was delinquent instead of giving a week's notice of your due date was the best they could do. I hope my review saves somebody from making a hasty decision on a storage facility that doesn't care about their customers nor their promise to take care of their customers things.

Diamond P | Overall ExperienceI rented this unit for a client of mine while in transition. Although I believe the facility is good, one thing that made it challenging for me was the unit is NOT correctly advertised. My client had an amount of furniture that the two feet that wasn't there created a problem. The unit was/is advertised as a 12 X 24 not the 12 X 22 that it is. Additionally, once I moved my client's furniture out, I was going to continue renting the unit for myself. I needed 23 ft in length to get what I needed in (boat). It makes me wonder what the sizes of the units in the rest of the facility really are and being advertised as.....
Steve P | Overall ExperienceI put my things in this unit to get away from sociopathic husband. My mother took me in. Soon after my foot was crushed & i was unable to work. Mom paid the fee for several months untill she old no longer get afford it. We tried to get my thing's out but with just the 2 of us me with a number foot and she needing a full knee replacement it took longer than expected. The woman in the office told us to let it go into default then bid on it for fraction of the late bill. Which was a lie, she lied by omission. We went one last time to get the few remaining articles but she called the police & told us she would prosecute if she had let us take the thing's it wod have been done,, they could have rerented it and saved alot of money but she was on a real power trip & was awful to us. I would say to anyone looking for storage to steer clear of alamo storage.
Angie K | Overall ExperienceAlamo storage was one of the worst storage places I've ever rented from I was very unhappy about not being able to access my things after being one day late on my payment which fair enough I was late however the office lady she was actually really friendly her husband was not so friendly where they parked their vehicles makes it difficult to make your truck and trailer around the corner it's a tight corner as it is especially when you're pulling a 16 18 ft trailer and you're in a crew cab long bed pickup the interior walls in this facility only had plywood on one side the other side was open fraiming making the unit very easy penetrated from inside the units the base of my wall was free floating I threw a box against it and watch the whole 16 ft tall wall slide into the neighbor's unit about 6 in I knocked on the on-site manager's rear door 5 minutes after closing time to ask if they would call my phone cuz I could not find it the guy was very rude disrespectful and had a major attitude told me they didn't have my number hello pretty sure I couple have have it to them I understand this is where you resid living on site however that's why you live on site to help your tenants after hour business and to keep secure of the facility I was not allowed to make a partial payment for one month due to I was 2 days late on my next payment so I paid the last month I was behind and then still could not access my things after 2 days I realize I agreed to all these terms when I sign my contract however the contract was not going over with me and it is very extensively long and hard to read with someone with vision impurities like myself last thing they were about $75 over price of the one I secured on 12th Street witch is bigger and a newer nicer more secure facility with still walls in between each unit I realized the office people are only implementing company policy and the company policy is very set up not in the favor of the tenet and would highly discourage any residents of the Weber county area to avoid this facility at all costs sincerely yours former tenant

Michelle M | ReservationMy storage rental rate went from $65 to $105 is a few short years and there were recent security problems with units being broken in to, including the unit next to mine. Time to move out..
