The booking was not confirmed by the company until we reached out to do so a few weeks after submitting the request through uhaul, several items were noticeably damaged, and one of the workers smelled strongly of weed and was carelessly handling items, often banging them into walls. One the workers (I believe his name was Tyrese) seemed very professional, loading the truck carefully, and treating everything with respect. They did send an extra helper without request by us, which helped offset the late start we had for the morning and got us out on time. A lot of items were found damaged when we went to unload the truck, some beyond repair.

Anthony and his crew were incredible for our move. They were clear communicators, very punctual and went above and beyond to ensure that our move went smoothly. This was our first experience hiring movers and we will never trust a moving company with our belongings again. We had three people for our allotted time of 2hrs to use the service elevator. They went over that time by 1hr (meaning we had to pay an overtime fee for the movers and the elevator). They also loaded the UHaul so poorly that we had to throw away $500 worth of stuff we owned and they had to push everything into the UHaul which damaged a $300 console table. The insurance was useless because the movers lied to them and said they did not damage our $300 console table. When we finally got to our destination, we loaded our belongings into a storage unit that was the same exact size of the UHaul and we had room for everything that we had to throw away as well as a dining table set. Do NOT trust these people for your moving needs.

Antoine and Chris were lovely to have around this evening while them, my partner, family, and I all moved us from my studio apartment to new two-bedroom. This is my partner and I's first time living together and in a lot of ways feels like we are finally living our shared dream together in a new space, so when we weren't able to find some (more brawny)friends or family members this morning to help with the big stuff we needed a solution and quick. Our solution today came in the form of two bright young family men with a kind smile on their face, a devoted look in their eyes, and a dream in their hearts that I know all too well as it is the same one that drives me to be better every day. In the hustle and bustle of moving day on a busy Friday evening on Chicago streets, I found myself relaxing into quick bits of chat with Chris and Antoine while waiting for the next box to be packed and ready or figuring out how best to fit a hexagonal table base into a u-haul. 10 out of 10 all around.

Hulls Haulers were so professional, friendly, and positive. They showed up on time and called before to let me know they were arriving soon- such a fun and positive group. They had me moved out of my unit and into my new place in the perfect amount of time. Despite the stairs and heavy furniture, they stayed positive throughout and didn't stop for any breaks. Such a wonderful experience, I will definitely be calling them again next time I move and I'm telling everyone I know- don't pass this opportunity up! Great crew, even greater people. You're getting an amazing value- their rate is a steal for a stress free and efficient move. Thank you Hulls Haulers for your hard work and incredible attitude! So grateful for you guys!

Presentation does mean something to me and I didn’t like what I saw initially (appearance and hygiene etc). However, the guys were knowledgeable and worked fast-paced (I also had everything prepared for them). They showed up late, they got sloppy with organization on the truck (which could have been bc they were being rushed by property management), they promised to wrap some items but didn’t, and they forgot to load some items. Overall, the experience was better than expected!

Communication was ok. Only one person was actively moving furniture and boxes from the apartment into the moving van for most of the two hours. It took the entire two hour time to move a one bedroom apartment that was already one-third empty into the U-Haul van. If my dad and brother hadn’t been helping them move the boxes and furniture there’s no way we would have been done in the two hour alotted window we had for the freight elevator and van bay at the apartment building. I hired this company because they had so many five-star reviews but I’m sorry to say that this was not a five-star experience and I would not hire them again.

Kevin was outstanding! I've done a lot of moves and he made this the best experience I've had moving. There was a bit of a timing issue because I was driving in from out of state. Kevin ended up doing the entire job in his own. Amazing work ethic! Anthony was in communication with us the entire time - he was friendly and professional! I had a great experience with Hull Haulers. I highly recommend them.

I am greatly satisfied with my experience with this group as someone who just moved from out of state crossing time zones. My movers were Jay, Tonio, and Anthony. I just moved to West Town area of Chicago from Columbus OH, and I was having lots of difficulty with my UHaul's ETA to the city. My movers were very understanding of my difficulties when I called them hours before the scheduled arrival time and responded kindly when I asked for them to delay 2 hours. They worked swiftly and effectively in high humidity and heat unloading a large number of heavy items for a 2nd floor 2 bedroom apartment that required navigating a narrow curling staircase. I appreciated their great communication and teamwork throughout. They gave me their 100 percent even after having two intense jobs earlier that day. I plan to request their services again if I move anytime soon.

Unloading didn’t go as well, it was slow and inefficient, my family was having to help a lot to get the job done. They were carrying one thing at a time form truck to building and not using dollies until we started using them for them. When moving into our apartment we realized that we had booked moving services for the day after our move-in. After speaking with Hulls Haulers, they were able to accommodate our request for movers on the day of move-in sending two helpers immediately to our location. The movers were very professional and thorough and we are very happy with the service received!

These guys were the best - really appreciated how well they packed our furniture, and the truck. everything arrived safe and sound, not a scratch, and they got everything in the 10-ft truck we rented when we should have gotten a larger one. And, they were super flexible and came later when we asked for a later start time only that same day. Super kind and positive attitude - made a stressful day much less stressful. Thanks so much!

They unloaded our three uhaul boxes efficiently, quickly, and did not damage anything (even with a steep staircase to maneuver up). They were tasked with some heavy furniture and did such a great job. They were professional, so helpful and were great to work with. Very bad experience. They arrived an hour late stating that they had to do a job in the city and were stuck on the pace bus to get to me. They were young teenagers doing job, they didn’t have transportation to unload at my new place so we had to drive them so they can unload my belongings. They seemed confused as to how to take bedroom furniture apart and had trouble putting it back together. They did apologize for inconvenience but at that point I was just over it and wanted it to be just done.

Hulls Haulers are a bunch of Lifesavers! My apartment complex double booked my time so I had to change my time last second. In 24 hours, Hull Haulers called and made the change and even showed up with an extra person to make sure that they stayed on schedule for the day 12 out of 10 customer service Also, they were super careful and respectful for things. I even overheard them talk about making sure our couch or bed, and never touch the floor and follow through with it while they carried it down several flights of stairs. If every company were like this, the world would be a better place. I will forever use them for any move in the Chicago area.

Hulls Haulers appears top be a family operation which takes its job seriously. Instead of 2 guys we got three and that really helped given the logistics of my building and the unexpected snowstorm. They charged us for and extra half hour, but they were probably here more than that and that seemed like a bargain given the energy and can-do attitude displayed by the dudes. We gave them a good tip which the truly earned in every way. If you have a move and need some really competent help Hulls Haulers are a five star solution.
