  • This company rocks. After catching another company (I hired through U-Haul-Moving Help) stealing, Yellow Dolly offered to come to my house after they finished all their scheduled work for the day. The owner knew the situation and talked to his crew and they agreed to bail me out. These guys showed up at 8pm after a full day of work. They had to repack the truck as it was a disaster and then went to work. They rocked it and got everything loaded and filled the truck to the brim. I even had to ask them to extend an hour to finish the job and they readily did. Even though they were working super late and have to get up early they were very pleasant and helpful. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without these guys. To say the least I talked to the owner and asked what a good time was and doubled it. I so appreciate this company and will be giving their name out to anyone I know in the area. This company revived my faith in humans and kindness. Thanks guys.

They were patient, hard working, polite and professional. I highly recommend them! I really appreciated the communication as they worked to keep me posted on their progress with the truck. I had antique furniture and some were handmade by my late grandfather. The guys made sure they were covered in furniture pads and wrapped them with care. Great team work!

  • The job went just alright, but they were very expensive compared to other moving companies and at that rate, you expect premium service. They guys they sent out were good, although they failed to wrap furniture (despite there being three dozen moving blankets available) and were clearly inexperienced at loading a moving truck. I’ve moved about 15 times total in my life. For 185 an hour you expect much better service and a lot more care for your goods.

  • The crew was great. Extremely professional, skilled, and quick. However, when I originally booked the service I was under the impression it was 2 workers to work for 8 hours of job time not 2 workers for 8 man hours each totaling 16 hours of work. The day before the job the office called and asked if they can send a third to complete the job faster and I agreed with the interpretation it was still for 8 total work hours. The job was completed in 6 hours and when I spoke with the company they said we agreed to do 3 workers for 8 hours which would be 24 hours of man hours. I contacted management to see if we could adjust the price for the shorter time since the job finished 2 hours early. Management said I should actually owe them for 2 more hours for man time and that is what I agreed to. Man hours vs. job hours was never discussed. The communication with the management was poor.

  • I booked two helpers but three arrived, I suspect because two of them were new and being trained. All three were very polite and nice. They stated they needed me to buy three dozen moving blankets on top of the 4 comforters and multitude of throws that we successfully used to pack the same possessions into a single POD last year. I went out and bought 4 moving blankets and 6 throws, most of which went unused. During the first two hours the lead person spent a significant amount of time on the phone discussing what I suspect was an Airbnb rental, and the new helpers stood around waiting for instruction. Overall, more damage was done than when we packed our own POD. I'm not hugely upset because most items weren't high value. But I was frustrated by the poor packing, the fact that it took 2 extra hours, and that most of the furniture didn't go in until the very end (even though I requested otherwise). The gentlemen who unpacked the truck were extremely critical of the job.
