  • The customer service rep was great. She communicated well, however our movers were not good. We had several pieces of furniture that ended up broken or damaged. I asked that all furniture was wrapped and protected. They did a very poor job of that. They also showed up smelling like weed which I felt was very unprofessional. It was one of the worst moving experiences with U Haul movers.

  • Fast & efficient movers! Communication was great from beginning to end. The movers arrived on time and did great! The only thing I will say is the amount you pay on Uhaul is NOT the full amount you will end up paying. There are different fees associated that your booking won’t cover. (Hills fee stairs fee, additional required hours + travel fee) so although we paid $240 via uhaul, we ended up paying an additional $150 day of due to fees. (Per manager, we required an extra hour + travel fee. This was not including tip. Aside from the extra fees uhaul does not disclose when you book, this company was great! Highly recommend!

  • We expressed our concerns about dotting everything in the truck. They said they’ll get it done. They began packing before taking a look at everything in the house. They informed us they couldn’t fit everything. We were about to have to rent a second uhaul truck (and tow a car) for our 800+ mile move which would have cost us $1000+. My husband decided to unpack half the truck himself and reload it to fit everything. They had great communication before arriving but did not do the job well and essentially, we paid for nothing.

  • STELLAR communication from Lewis Pro Move! We are moving from out of state and have used moving help a few times. The levels of customer service with Lewis is too notch and far exceeds the other companies we have used. I would like to recognize Tederrius as an amazing teammate!   • I scheduled the unload for 2 pm. I confirmed at 1230 pm that the service would be performed at 2 pm. I was assured that they would be there between 2 and 230. I received a call at around 200 pm that they were held up helping an 80 year old couple (which I didn’t believe, but ok, whatever) and that they would be there by 3 pm. Someone finally arrived around 5 pm. They did a good job but it was obvious that they weren’t the same people that were helping the 80 year old couple out. The process felt rushed. I would not recommend this firm.

  • I found the owners of this company to be very professional & responsive. I scheduled 2 persons for 4 hours. One person arrived early & was a very hard worker (Emmanuel). 'E' was very respectful & professional. He was also a problem solver. When faced with a challenge he thought through how to resolve it & took the steps necessary to fix the problem, for example, getting the car tow trailer disconnected from the truck was a challenge. There seems to be an issue with the actual equipment but 'E' kept working at it & trying different things to make it work like putting bricks underneath the jack to give it more height. He also had me move the truck to a more level surface but that didn't help either. Again, I believe there is an actual issue with the equipment. 'E' just loaded the truck working around the trailer even though he didn't have a ramp. The other mover arrived 45 minutes late with an attitude & was lazy & it went downhill from there. I fired that mover but kept 'E'.

The kind of people you would welcome in your home and feel comfortable handling your belongings. I was amazed at what a great job they did loading everything in such a compact way. An added perk, they volunteered to strap in the truck my sister’s items and mine separately as they would be unloaded at separate places. I was very pleased with their service and would highly recommend them.

  • I called MH 24hr before reserved day and time to request reschedule. MH notified me they could not change the reservation in the MH System. They told me they would call me back in a day if nothing could be done via the Uhaul MH system however I never heard from them again.

Joshua and Michael were hard workers, very careful as they unloaded, and went above and beyond helping us get things moved to the right locations in our house.   • When I first scheduled my appointment, I was told 8 AM would be the first slot the first appointment of the day. Since I had to return the U-Haul truck rental by 1030 I decided to schedule the Movers at 8 AM being that I would be the first Appointment. The movers showed up 40 minutes late. Of course, my reservation was for two hours so that time was still allotted to me. However, my TV stand got banged up when the movers took it out of the U-Haul into my apartment on the second floor. I took photos, sent it to the person who handled the appointment, which was the wife of one of the movers. The husband told Me there was nothing they could do. Needless to say, I’m disappointed.

  • Overall, the experience was about as expected. All three guys that helped were very nice, showed up timely, and were ready to work. They were in a little bit of a rush however, and I would have appreciated a little more care with furniture and boxes as they threw everything around which resulted in boxes getting damaged. Trying to go too fast also resulted in several boxes getting dropped off the top of a stack on a hand truck (they didn't tell me this either... another family member watching did). Also, almost tipped over a hand truck by running it up the truck ramp on one wheel as the other wheel hung off the side (I had to run over and help support it so they could lower it back down). Despite some carelessness, no major damage occurred, but several pieces of furniture now have scratches or dents that were caused by lack of care when packing the truck up. Overall, for the price paid, I am content with the services provided, but definitely wouldn't rank it a 5-star experience.

  • The guys were an hour and a half late, ytheyvdid call but it threw everything off because we had to have truck back by certain time. On top of that they worked very slow, one guy was injured and had a brace on. With them working slowly my husband ended up having to help the whole time or else there was no way they’d be done on time. The last guys we hired in October were top notch and efficient so we didn’t have to do anything so this was super disappointing to pay for movers so that we could focus on other stuff only to have to still physically move everything ourselves just to be able to get done and because we were running out of time we had to leave stuff behind that my husband will have to make trips back and forth today by himself. They were nice guys, just slow and not on time.

The same items were loaded from an upstairs unit in 30 minutes and the guys took some furniture to the trash can for me.
