First, let me say how flexible HWC was. I had to reschedule numerous times, and they were fantastic. The team that showed up at my place today was great, but they arrived 1.5 hours late due to a scheduling issue with one of the workers. Since I had been so dynamic with my timing, I didn't care, but they did give me 19 minutes of notice. Due to the limitations of the U-Haul MovingHelp system, I reached out to the team to let them know I would need an additional mover, and the based on my information, the manager asked if I needed 2 or 3 hours. We went with his suggestion of three hours, which come to find out, increased by total cost by $285, which I had to pay via Venmo to one of the movers' personal Venmos. They finished in well under 2 hours, but still charged me for the full three after upselling me that morning over the phone. Additionally, the movers left the U-Haul truck a complete mess with empty water bottles and the moving blankets strewn across the back and the street.

I had two experiences with this company. The first one was great. They sent two experienced movers to pack two U Boxes. So I hired then again to pack my 26' truck I drove from TX to FL. I had to be proactive to schedule the second move. Two young boys showed up and the oldest was 19. They were sweet kids and professional. I originally had a 20' truck they told me they could pack. By the end of the day I had to go get a 26' truck and hire them back the next day and pay them twice. They still couldn't pack the 26' truck right. They didn't use three packs of furniture pads, wasted a lot of truck space. It was clear they needed more training on properly packing a truck. When I arrived in Florida most of my stuff was damaged due to shifting from the poor packing. I would not recommend this company for a big move unless you plan to file damage claims later.

They were polite, professional, hardworking, and a pleasure to work with throughout the process. Their positive attitude and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. I was also incredibly grateful for the flexibility HWC provided as moving plans and timelines evolved. Their willingness to work with me and keep me informed every step of the way made a tremendous difference. Moving is never easy, but HWC made the experience as smooth and stress-free as possible. ThenThey Were Like It’s 20 Minutes Left What Else You Want Us To Take , I Walk Thru To Look , I’m Like You Guys Didn’t Grab This Wood Kitchen Toy My Bike , Dresser , Bed . Etc . So Then They end up coming to find me a say we are done , if you want to hire us later after this move we got , we could finish and unload you & Ima text you my cashapp so you can tip us. Lmao Why would I tip if yall didn’t complete the job ? They left ALOT my DRESSER MY SON MATTRESS, headboard , Bags. Unfortunately, we discovered a lot of damage after our move with this company. They fit everything into the truck but the damage to our belongings is pretty significant on some things. The young men worked quick and hard but that doesn't matter when a lot of your personal property ends up destroyed. I know stuff will happen, completely understandable. I've moved 4 times in 2 years, never had this amount of damages with a moving company before. It is disappointing experience and they were tipped well under the assumption it was a job well done. You live and you learn!

This was my first time hiring movers and I was nervous from the start. I chose HWC based off how many positive reviews they had and I couldn't be more satisfied! I spoke with Chris first and he was very nice over the phone. My movers were Josh and Miguel, both were very polite and respectful from the start. They knew what they were doing and handled my parents belongings with care. They were quick on their feet and didn't waste time getting the job done. They loaded & unloaded a 15' Uhaul, with about an hour drive in between locations, in a little over 3 hours. The whole process was simple and I'm so thankful for HWC movers!

This was a great experience and I would know, I have moved a lot. The provider was communicative about setting up our time. And there was a change up the morning of for another team which did result in a later start, but the call about timing and the team reaching out was what I wanted and was clear. I try to stay flexible on moving days anyway. The guys both introduced themselves and shook our hands when they arrived which was super professional. Both guys where strong, fast, and polite. They took directions well, but also had skills in space planning and placement that helped a lot as the truck was loaded. Pleasant conversation very efficient work overall. Would definitely use again and recommend.

It was kind of a hot mess but they got the job done. One of the helpers didn’t show and one drove from San Antonio so he was few minutes late. They called their boss to try and solve the problem. He had movers at a different job come help. Probably put them back on the other job but at least they didn’t cancel. We waited until almost 10am for enough manpower. The guys were great though. Super kind, professional and all around upstanding gentleman. They were tolerant and respectful towards my 5 year old who tried his best to stay out of the way. I would hire Javier, Alex and their friend any day.

Helpers that were scheduled for our house were very efficient and helpful. There was a new crew member who was trying to assist but had to be shown how to do or lift a lot of things. The only issue with the onsite staff was that they did not put items in the proper rooms, which took more time to sort out on the back end. The main issue that we experienced was with the manager who accidentally sent an extra crew member and called to either say he needed to leave or could we tip him extra to make the time worth it. We were also asked to not submit a review unless it was for 5 stars. To me that is misleading future customers and I don't feel that it's fair to represent a business that way.

For the most part, the moving itself went really well. They were friendly, efficient and knew how to pack up the truck. The only negative was upon moving an umbrella stand in the backyard, it slipped and smashed a tile to pieces. I was ok with the accident but the follow-up was not acceptable. They said they would fix it and sent someone over by them but upon replacing the tile, he chipped 2 more. Saying he would come back, he didn't grout what was done and so half complete. He never came back and stopped answer my calls so now I have to hire someone else myself to fix the repair. They said would cover the costs but have now stopped answering my messages.

The movers showed up smelling like marijuana & complaining that my job was their 3rd of the day, so they were pretty tired & slow. I gave them a stack of moving blankets to protect my furniture. They used one - the rest came off the truck folded in the same stack I provided & all my large pieces of furniture were scuffed and scraped up. My son’s dresser is trashed on the top & my dresser has a large hole in the back now. They also lost several items or they didn’t make it on the truck. For example, I had to order new hardware to be able to put my son’s crib together. The power cord to my adjustable base for my bed is nowhere to be found. My son’s mattress is crushed and won’t reform - not even sure how that happens. Between replacing items that were lost or damaged, it has already cost me more than I paid for my entire cross-country move & I have a lot more to repair or replace at this point. DO NOT hire this company. I have yet to hear back from them regarding my concerns.

Excellent!!! Did I already say Excellent!. Chris (I forgot the other movers names) and his team are professional, courtesy, and polite. They move quickly. They are ready to place the boxes where you direct them, and rearrange them for you. They were a little late, but called. I think it was because they were trying to accommodate my last minute reservation over the holiday and the time I requested. Call HWC Moving, before any other movers!! Just an FYI. I had to call Uhaul movers to get them because the APP kept stating they did not service my area (Cibolo, TX). That is a cliche that needs to be fix because customer service was able to schedule HWC immediately.
