  • Movers were friendly and efficient. At times it felt chaotic and that the team members had different plans about how to approach filling the truck. Overall, they were great and I would totally use again in the future. Might be helpful to encourage customers to have visual diagrams and clearly marked boxes of where furniture is going in order to make the communication more smooth.

Dante and Marty took care with my moving unload job, but worked quickly- and my apartment was on the third floor! It was nice to relax and begin unboxing items while Naptown took care of everything. Will definitely be booking again for future moves & recommending to my friends!

They were very professional and hard working, and even through the communication barrier, they got done very efficiently and in no time at all.   • This is the second time we've used Naptown for a move. Both times they have been outstanding!!! Easy walkthrough of what was to be moved. They were efficient in packing. We had ordered 3 UBoxes and worried it wasn't enough space. They got everything in 2 UBoxes with space left for our final packing of kitchen and cleaning supplies! They even managed us packing up boxes and odd shaped bits and feeding them into the loading sequence. The washer-dryer required brute strength to get around tight corners but they did that as well as the care they showed moving furniture and boxes. We've recommended Naptown to the apartment manager as well.

  • The communication with the team was excellent. They arrived on time and loaded up the UHaul in about an hour! Very efficient. The packed the UHaul very well and we had no shifting or damage. We did notice some scratches on one of our dressers, but I'm unsure if that came from moving the piece or during the drove. It is second hand, so I am not concerned but might be useful for others to know.

They got everything from our 4 bedroom house loaded into a 26 ft truck with room to spare. I was amazed. I also loved how management checked in with me several times during the process.   • The team that helped with my move was fantastic. They jigsawed my overstuffed 3 bedroom house into a 26 ft U-Haul, being diligent about using straps to secure everything. I am still not sure how they managed to fit everything. Crew had an amazing attitude throughout all of the heavy lifts. I couldn’t recommend them more.

  • I have moved 5 times in the last 4 years using various Uhaul helpers to move. This by far was the absolute best movers I have ever experienced! They were ver fast, careful, curious, and never slowed down. These guys are worth every single penny. Also in the past the movers were fine with me busting my butt to help so they could relax while I paid them. Not this company..they didn't want me to do anything and they finished in plenty of time! Again. Absolutely outstanding!!

  • Communication was a bit difficult and it was a bit of a rocky start, but we were overall happy with the quality of the work. On the day of the move, one crew member arrived close to the start time, but the other did not arrive until half an hour after the scheduled start time. We were not made aware of any delays or the reasoning for the lateness, and we tried communicating with the contact given to us by U-Haul, but it took a while to receive a response due to the contact being on vacation. We also did not know this before booking, but everyone in the company is deaf, so they do not take phone calls. Once the second mover arrived and they started working, they did a great job of loading our items and figuring out how to best pack our U-Haul. Both men worked very hard the entire time and made sure we got fully unloaded before leaving. It was a bit stressful at times, but we were very glad to have the crew’s help for our move!

  • Another complicated move on my part with Naptime Moving Co. Items were going to 2 different locations out of state so the truck had to be loaded in order of each stop. Calvin and Jeremiah worked very fast, carefully, and efficiently with LOTS of heavy items, and got everything loaded correctly making it easy to unload at the 1st stop. I have used Naptime Moving Co. before and will definitely use them anytime the need arises.   • I cannot say enough good things about this company. Owner Carl was very easy to work with getting things set up even on just a few hours notice the night before needing help. Calvin and Tyler arrived exactly when they said they would, worked very fast and efficiently. These 2 young men were very polite, friendly, funny and forgiving despite my move being complicated with items going to 3 different locations and not very well marked or organized. Sorry guys. Tyler's strength and stamina belies his tall, lean body. And Calvin packed the truck so expertly, leaving no area unfilled. Amazing. Their coordination was outstanding, and I might add, for anyone who might wonder about issues communicating with a crew that is deaf, we had no problem communicating, in fact they were more communicative and congenial than any moving crew I have ever worked with. And, they knew their stuff, very efficient, finishing in under the time I had anticipated. We were relocating to another state and so we likely won’t have the opportunity to work with them again, but their professionalism made the move seamless and I am appreciative of the opportunity to have worked with them, and if ever there was an opportunity to do so again, I wouldn’t hesitate.   • We were moving from Kansas to Richmond, Indiana. We had scheduled movers with another company and had to cancel them due to truck issues. I was worried about not getting help for days, but they made it happen. I chose this company after seeing such raving reviews. They contacted me as soon as I scheduled them. Dante, Christian, Spencer were able to get everything done in the quoted time with a minute to spare. They unloaded items with care and every room got the correct box.   • Both gentlemen showed up right on time and went to work on unloading our truck we just drove in from cross country. Both Christian and Spencer were polite and jovial. Both were hearing impaired, but communicated very well with us and still were able to coordinate offloading with us the entire time. They took care of a monster of a dresser and pool table slates with no issues. The entire truck was emptied in 45 minutes! My wife gave them their tip and they were able to get back early on a Friday night. All communications coordinating the job were done via text, and it was appreciated since this was a short notice request.

I was very anxious about whether everything would fit into two U-Boxes, but they handled the estimation and packing with such confidence and organization that it immediately put me at ease. Everything fit perfectly, and the boxes were packed neatly and thoughtfully. They took excellent care of our furniture and worked quickly while still being extremely attentive.   • 2-man crew unloaded our moving truck in 3-hrs & they were outstanding! They arrived on time, were friendly & polite. Communication was excellent the whole time - great lip-reading, clear gestures & phone notes when needed. They followed every instruction, worked efficiently & carefully throughout. Furniture was handled with obvious care & only a few very minor scuffs appeared on the stairway walls (expected with tight turns & a fully loaded truck). The crew stayed patient & positive even when moving our fridge took multiple attempts. One small suggestion for the company - it would be helpful to invest in their own appliance dolly. We had to get up extra early that morning to rent one ourselves since U-Haul omitted ours. Overall, this was one of the best moving experiences we’ve had - professional, respectful & hardworking from start to finish. We’d absolutely book this crew again & highly recommend them.   • Overall, my experience was positive. I would consider using Naptown again. Communication ahead of the move was excellent. I have hired moving labor several times over the past 3 years for clean outs and on both ends of a multi-trip cross country move. This was a small job of moving 10x10, unstacked storage unit contents 1 mile to my house, 20 mins load, 15 mins unload. While Christian & Jad were pleasant & focused, I sensed lack of experience in using leverage. They struggled to attach a tow strap, didn’t use provided carts to efficiently move multiple items at the same time and didn’t team lift larger items, like a file cabinet with papers in 2 drawers, to keep them upright. Other than the files being scattered inside the drawers no harm was done. Had I needed a full truck with liquids valuables & fragiles loaded for a long trip, I would be concerned about how long the load would take and whether everything was intact & secure. And, I can’t imagine how tired the crew would be!

Though deaf, communication with them was easy using their phone app & written notes on pieces. They easily understood that they were loading boxes for 2 locations & didn’t mix them up. My bedroom furniture is solid wood & quite heavy but they made moving it look almost easy, even on a hot, humid day. I would hire them again & can recommend them without hesitation.

  • This was the easiest move by far for me thanks to Carl and his crew! Carl was so quick to get in contact with me after booking to confirm all the details and get the times set up. He confirmed both at booking and again the night before that the crew was set and ready. He checked in with me via text throughout the process while the guys were here, overall stellar communication and really on top of everything. Avery and CJ were our movers and they were wonderful! They arrived right on time, were so quick with getting everything out of the house and loaded onto the truck, but were careful and precise with all our things when loading and unloading. They had our 16 ft truck loaded in less than 30 mins and then unloaded just as efficiently at our storage unit. They took great care in organizing our stuff the best way in the storage unit and even made sure to ask me if I preferred certain pieces of larger furniture at the front or the back of the unit. We’ll definitely be hiring them again!

  • These guys were awesome! The owner, Carl, texted me within minutes of booking my time and gathered some info about the job. The morning of he texted to let me know that he was sending me a third helper free of charge. I had booked three hours for for the job and Luis, Trey and Zach got it done in half that time so the extra man was a great call. It would have taken me all day or longer. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, and they moved about 2500-3000 lbs of flooring upstairs and saved my back from all that I'm always okay with spending the money on something worthwhile. If it makes me glad I paid for it every time I think about it then it was definitely worth it, and that's how I feel about hiring these guys.

  • The crew was good on communicating with us up to the move. We weren’t sure when we would arrive and we appreciated the flexibility of the team as we pushed our unload time back a bit. The two individuals were hearing impaired; while we understand that everyone needs to work, this did make communication a big difficult since there were so many moving parts. One of the members of the team was more interested in organizing things in the truck, while we really needed him to carry stuff. It was difficult to have this conversation about what was needed since we really couldn’t communicate. We were glad for the help, and one of the guys was enthusiastic and hard working and positive about the experience; the other, less so.
