The most disappointing part of my experience wasn't the miscommunication regarding the final cost of my move, but rather how management chose to handle my concerns. When I reached out for clarification about the unused time I had already paid for, I expected professionalism, understanding, and a willingness to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, that was not what I received. Instead of addressing my concerns with respect and professionalism, the manager spoke to me in an overly familiar, dismissive, and unprofessional manner, as though he were having a disagreement with a friend rather than speaking to a paying customer. Customer service isn't just about providing a service when everything goes smoothly. It's about how you treat customers when there's a misunderstanding or an issue that needs to be resolved. As a customer, I shouldn't have to explain why I'm frustrated to be treated with basic courtesy and respect.

The guys were so helpful. Initially they called to ask if they could come another day because they were running behind. Unfortunately, we couldn't be flexible...but THEY were! They were so kind, so helpful and it was WELL worth every penny to use the moving help through Uhaul. We made sure to tip our guys during the 110 degrees and they didn't stop. They worked so hard and new how to jenga our items to make everything fit! Thank you! I'll use you again for sure!

this was the worst move ever! i hated every part of it, first the communication was horrible, one of played half time he was there he helped himself to the guitar, i had no complaints at first because we all like to have fun! but he kept going back to it throughout the move. they were slow! this is the slowest i’ve been moved ever, lastly they helped themselves to my restroom WITHOUT asking (i wouldn’t have mind) until he left my toilet seat up and piss on my toilet ! not to mention he didn’t wash his hands ! they took apart my couch (never had to be ) and didn’t even want to put it back together i hated this experience and wish i would’ve booked elsewhere

Great experience with JM Moving Labor! Leonel and other guy arrived late in the afternoon in light rain, and even though it was their last job of the day, they gave it their full effort. They worked quickly and carefully, and finished everything in well under an hour. They were friendly, professional, and clearly took pride in their work. I really appreciate their hard work and would gladly hire them again. Highly recommended!

I was certain that they wouldn't be able to load everything into the trailer size that I had. I was wrong. After they completed the job, I was left with half of the trailer being empty, so I could add more on moving day. Very quick and efficient.

I have never had a worse experience with movers. I have moved three times in the last three years and each time I hired two guys through U-Haul, the other two times it we perfectly fine. These people sent two guys - one was older and the other was young but skinny. They moved outrageously slow, my parents and I had to move half of the stuff myself. They didn’t come prepared with their own water, kept asking us for water (I’m now out of cold water from giving it to them). They packed the truck extremely inefficiently so we had to leave stuff behind, and they went two hours over the scheduled three hours in spite all three of us pitching in and helping them the ENTIRE time. They would groan and roll their eyes when we would tell them something heavy needed to go upstairs. They also didn’t speak English so it was difficult to communicate with them. Every other time we’ve hired movers they’ve been young and strong and just breezed through it no problem. Seriously horrible experience.

The communication was clear understanding professional we set a time and Kyle and Carlos communicated their arrival and where there with no waiting they immediately access the situation and started moving. I will use them again and recommend them.

One of the movers did not speak English and therefore couldn’t understand my instructions, and they caused damage to my property.

As much as I wanted to be nice, the move was bad, they couldn’t understand me language wise and stacked boxes on top of fragile glass boxes and ruined my wood table by just leaning it on the wall. When I arrived the expensive table was broken They leaned it on the truck wall without packing it in with other items. Also I wasn’t verbally told about no dolly provided so I had to barrow one from my building.

I was pressured to release the paycode immediately after the move in order to 'stop the clock' and not have to pay for extra hours. However, I learned after the move that they broke a glass table top and the movers didn't say anything about it. When I opened a case in the resolution center, I was asked to send pictures to which they kept saying they didn't receive. So, I called them to ask about the pictures, they said to use to resolution center, which I already had. Then they hung up on me. I called back immediately, the didn't answer and I left a voice mail. They have not responded to any communications with me since. When I talked to U-haul, they said there is nothing they can do and insurance wouldn't cover because I released the paycode. The only recourse I had through them was to leave a 'really bad review' or spend money to take them to small claims court. I will not only never use this mover again, but I will never use MovingHelp through U-haul again either.

The movers were very fast and efficient with getting everything moved, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with how carefully my belongings were handled. The movers were extremely rough with my furniture and belongings, and I ended up with damage to essentially every piece of furniture. I personally witnessed my desk leg being snapped in half when the desk was dragged and then thrown onto the ground. My nightstands now have cracks and damage, and pieces of my TV stand are missing, so I’m unable to properly set up the shelves. On top of the furniture damage, nearly all of my moving bags and storage containers were damaged as well. Some had straps completely broken off, others had wheels snapped off, and several were ripped. I do appreciate how quickly the move was completed. A little more care would’ve been appreciated!

I was told that they could extend time if we went over, but that wasn't the case. Had to hire someone else to finish their job. For some reason they didn't use the mattress cover we provided and discussed, and now we have a really dirty mattress. Didn't notice they didn't use it until it was already in the truck.

The guys were very efficient unloading our van, there were so many people moving in at the same time and only one freight elevator. They were able to finish in the allotted time.

The movers were great, but one accidentally dropped my couch in mud outside my new place. They sent a picture to their management who told me on the phone they would schedule cleaners to come and then never followed up on that. I was willing to forgive the couch being dropped if they gave me cleaners but since that did not happen, I’m pretty dissatisfied with how they handled that incident. Will not use them again.

The people that came out to help me were excellent. I am terrible with names and I unfortunately do not remember theirs but they did everything I asked as far as placement of the belongings and even took my blankets doen for me when I didn't even think about it. I really appreciate all of their assistance! They were also very nice and somehow managed to work with the same level of work at the end as the beginning despite the heat. These guys were life savers for me.

Guys were very quick with the service. Very professional and did their best to quickly unload the stuff. Only suggestion would be the management should provide them with better dolly, they only had 1 small dolly and 1 furniture dolly. We had to give our dolly, which we luckily had and we had to borrow an additional from the apartment we were moving to. But overall excellent movers and highly recommend them!

We asked to secure items and were told no which resulted in items falling, the containers breaking and items spilling all over the truck and becoming damage. Additionally they stacked heavy boxes on top of light boxes causing the boxes to crush.

I had a great experience with JM Moving Labor! The two movers who helped us were incredibly professional, hardworking, and efficient. Our apartment is on the 3rd floor, and they handled everything with care while maintaining a positive attitude the entire time. They made what could have been a stressful move so much easier. I also want to recognize the office staff for their excellent communication throughout the process. They were responsive, kept us informed, and made scheduling simple. I highly recommend JM Moving Labor to anyone looking for reliable, professional movers!

2 young guys came. They just finished another job and were extremely exhausted. They asked for water when they arrived, then they complained about the boxes inside our garage and were visibly frustrated because of the amount of boxes. They didn’t speak English which made it difficult to communicate. They didn’t load the truck properly nor did they have any equipment. I provided the dolly and furniture dolly’s for them. I went to drop off my wife around the corner and the movers begged me for more water and wanted me to grab them some Red Bulls because they were so exhausted one mover expressed. They did a lousy job and did not care about our furniture and mattresses and were dragging it on the side walk. They wanted tip for doing an incomplete job so I tipped them in cash. The other helper wanted more money and asked my wife for her Cash App so she can send him more money. The manager called us after we decided not to use them and apologized. I will not use them again.

This was the best money I ever spent. My daughter and I loaded our truck by ourselves and quickly realized we’d need help unloading it because it was just too much. JM Moving Company definitely saved the day. They unloaded our truck in no time flat, were polite and professional. Couldn’t recommend them enough and the price was awesome!

Alejandro and coworker did a great job helping unload our 10’ truck to an upstairs apartment unit. Communication from start to finish was exceptional. I would hire JM Moving again, and recommend them!

The two helpers were hardworking and did their best. However, they came without basic moving equipment, such as a dolly for transporting boxes. Their work lacked the level of professionalism I expected, which caused the move to take much longer than necessary. Additionally, the container was not loaded efficiently or securely, and I had to reorganize the load myself afterward. While I appreciate their effort, the overall service did not meet my expectations.

Tony and Gilberto did an awesome job, they kept moving through the job and did all the heavy lifting without complaint. Only issue was that they parked in a covered spot at my apartment complex which caused an incident with the resident it belonged to, but that was quickly resolved. Please coach them to only park in uncovered spots at apartments.

Scheduled window for arrival was 8-9am and we received a call about 45min ahead they would be there at 8am. During scheduling they offered to do the unload as well and we could pay by the hour, so we agreed. The two gentlemen that showed up didn't speak any English, so communication was very difficult requiring us to call people to translate. This cost us 30 - 45 min at the beginning which cost me extra as I had to add more time to finish the job. I think the scheduling department should've told us about the language barrier. One of the gentlemen moved significantly slower than his coworker which resulted in a slower load time. He was texting on his cell phone frequently as well. We met the 2 gentlemen at our new house and they began unloading. We had the truck and 3 U-Boxes to unload. They unloaded the truck but refused to unload the U-Boxes. They called the scheduling department who agreed they could proceed but they disagreed. They stayed an additional 40min but moved slower.

These guys were great. Moved my daughter out of her 3rd floor apartment in literally 112 degree heat without any grumbling or issues. I felt so bad for them but they were troopers! My son is moving in two weeks and we’ll definitely use JM Moving Help again!

One of the of the movers was in slides which could be dangerous when carrying heavy items down the stairs. The older guy was great though and did majority of the work.

Movers were not cautious moving belongings, they broke glass antiques and did not store my possessions properly in storage. Due to helpers not speaking English, I could not provide instructions. One of the helpers was constantly on his phone making his partner do everything, and taking his time. I was charge an extra $60 for the hour when it was only 4mins they went over in time. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

The move went perfectly. My movers were attentive, no nonsense, took great care with my belongings, and were very communicative with me which made coordinating the move incredibly stress-free. I will definitely recommend them to friends and any of my future moves. Thank you!
