  • Absolutely fantastic work- my two movers were strong and had great endurance. They showed up right on time, communicated effectively with me, they even helped guide me parallel parking a 20' van! All of my belongings arrived in perfect condition- no scratches, scrapes, or breaks. I had two furniture pieces that ended up needing to be disassembled, and they had them both done in the blink of an eye, and even reassembled at my new location. Great experience

  • These guys were incredible! I was truly impressed and amazed at their speed, truck organization, and professionalism during this move. This was my first time hiring movers and I got a 15' truck which I honestly didn't think was going to fit everything once I picked it up and saw it in person. But somehow these guys (tetris geniuses) made it work and packed that thing like a boss. I got quotes from other moving companies that estimated this move to take about 5-6 hours. These 2 guys got it done in 3.5 hours including 30 minute drive time from first house to second house. And they did it for like half the cost of what other companies were asking for. 10 out of 10 would recommend these guys for any of your moving needs! Seriously, 5 stars all the way around!

  • I had an amazing experience with Lesstask. Especially their two professionals, Junior and James, carefully and QUICKLY packed up an entire condo in less time than we even had allotted, and were able to just Tetris in what I had thought was going to be two truckloads into one, whilst keeping everything safe, wrapped, and secure. Moving is awful and they made it the least awful such an experience can be. Their office manager (Sergio) kept me up to date along the way, and the crew arrived on time. I highly recommend.

Got in touch with Sergio who was super helpful and polite. Movers were confirmed for exact date and time later that day. One date of move, Sergio called to let me know they were running a little behind, 30 min or so. Elmer and his team showed exactly at updated time. They got to work and finished in 2 hours or so. • I was skeptical about hiring helpers for moving, we move very frequently for our job and have always handled it ourselves. However, we were in a 3rd floor apartment and after unloading by ourselves and climbing the 3 sets of stairs, we quickly decided to hire help when we left. Which brings us to current. We hired lesstask and what would have taken my husband and myself a whole day to haul. These two gentlemen only took an hour. I had reserved them for 2, but did not even care that I would have only needed 1. They were professional, friendly, and never stopped moving even though it was extremely humid and hot. I would hire this company in the future without a second of hesitation. Thank you so very much!

  • The team of movers (2) was on time & professional. They provided wrapping plastic, moving mats, and a bin. Despite having everything packed ahead of time, it felt like the movers were moving extremely slow compared to past hired helpers. I was told at 1.5 of 2 hours that we wouldn’t finish on time. I added an additional hour. My husband and I were moving a significant amount of things to speed up the process. I have had movers who insist that I don’t help. However, I don’t mind helping. We still barely made it under 3 hours after waiting for the movers several times between loads. I was told that because I added SafeLoad insurance, they had to move slowly, and it would be faster if I didn’t. You should always move CAREFULLY when hired to handle people’s belongings. After moving in and unwrapping my dresser, I still found significant scratches.

They took extra care to protect furniture and loaded items tightly and in such a manner that nothing shifted in the 200+ drive that included lots of 15 mile an hour curves and rough roadways. They were very professional, polite, and friendly. Would highly recommend them to anyone within a 100 miles radius of Germantown, MD.

  • The movers handled everything really well, they made two trips with a packed truck and handled the stairs. The only issue is the information I provided in the introductory phone call was not handled properly. I repeated that it was a 2 bedroom apartment with three flights of stairs and the person kept reassuring me that 2 guys was enough. It was not. But the guys that showed up were really good and handled it well.

The team optimally used my moving blankets. The team was experienced in wrapping, moving furniture down townhouse stairs and narrow spaces. Rudy was great at making sure the furniture was wrapped with blankets at the right parts, and packing the truck so nothing moved when truck was driven. Eric and David had amazing strength to carry furniture down the stairs. Eric surprised us with his strength for his size. David brought amazing balance of strength and intellect. Thank you. Me and my wife were a bit organized - provided a list of furniture to move by each townhouse floor, made sure each piece of furniture was cleared of clutter, disassembled, and boxed up.

  • We hired Lesstask for 3 hours of packing and 2 hours of loading for our move. They were super nice, friendly, and communicative, and packed our items carefully, but the service was VERY slow. They only got about two thirds of the living room and half the kitchen packed in 3 hours, leaving us on our own to pack the rest. It took more than 25 minutes for one of the workers to pack a small standard bookcase. We had to pay for an extra hour for them to finish loading the truck and did not follow our request to get most of the furniture loaded first in the front of the truck, which was the bulk of what we hired them to do. My 73 year old father law moved much faster and worked much harder than the two we paid to load. When we got to our end destination, the hired workers to unload the truck commented on how chaotically it was loaded and without care for some of our items. Nice guys but would not hire again.

  • These are the best movers we’ve worked with, period. After a 9 hour drive that was filled with problems, we felt like we needed to call for last second help because both our truck rental and our parking permit were about to expire. With barely any notice, Lesstask really saved our move. I’ve never seen a moving truck unloaded more efficiently or more quickly. They made a 26 foot moving truck look like a mini cooper. It was pretty amazing, actually. They were fast, great communicators, friendly, and funny. My whole family really appreciated them as movers and as people. In such a crazy stressful time, we needed a rescue, and they totally came through. I would absolutely recommend them without hesitation. THANK YOU!

  • I recently used LessTask for a local move; overall, the experience was positive. The team arrived on time, handled my items carefully, and worked efficiently. They were professional and courteous and ensured that my belongings were well-protected during the move. HOWEVER, ONE MAJOR CONCERN I had was the billing policy. The company charges in 1-hour increments, which I find a bit unfair. In my case, the move wrapped up in just 2.5 hours, but I was charged for a full additional hour. I would have preferred if they charged in 30-minute increments to reflect the actual time worked accurately. Aside from this, I think the service was good, but potential customers should know the billing structure before booking because I did not see anywhere that prorating based on hours worked was not offered.

  • My only comment is that one of your associates hard a lingering tobacco use smell, possible on their outerwear (coat) that under other circumstances would have been cause for dismissal from the job. If I was moving new furniture into the home or if my family members who are more sensitive to the odor, I would not have been allowed to let this person into the house.

  • Sergio (the owner?) is easy to talk to, knows exactly what he’s doing, and was flexible. A day or two after he and I first spoke we had to change our reservation for unloading because we were not going to be able to get in to our new house in the morning, as we had been expecting, and he made it work - thank you, Sergio! Later, our truck’s arrival was delayed by about an hour, and he accommodated our late arrival. Sergio also worked very hard once our truck arrived to get it unloaded. If this review was only for Sergio, it would be five stars, no question. Unfortunately, the two people whom Sergio brought weren’t as careful with our stuff as he was, and also didn’t show nearly the level of hustle that he did. I get that it was late in the afternoon, and that everyone was tired, but things didn’t go as well as I had hoped.

  • 2 hours late. Endless explanations and excuses. The movers were personable enough on an extremely hot day, but their carefulness with my possessions and skil at their jobl were well below my previous experiences using this service. Oddly, they behaved like they were doing me some sort of favor by doing a so-so job for which they had set the price. If I hadn't had a markedly better experience twice before, I'd chalk it up to the heat. Not awful, but not that good either.

  • Unfortunately, things started off good and went downhill from there. The movers arrived and asked if we had any heavy or unusual items to move. We showed them a large book case and our pool table that needed to be moved. About an hour after that, they told me that those were considered specialty items and were not covered under what we had already paid. I asked if they would move them for an extra fee. They said yes, then I said I would pay whatever that fee was to get them moved. About an hour after that, they said that their time was up and they had to leave. They told me that I never should have expected them to move everything in the 2 hours I booked, but they didn’t move the specific things that I told the dispatcher about before they arrived, then showed them upon their arrival, then spoke about again during the move. We then had to find other available movers last minute to get these items out. It caused us significant extra expense and delayed our move by a day. 0 stars

  • James and Muhammad did a great job. I was under the impression that the amount of furniture and boxes I had would take multiple trips, at least 3. However, they fit everything in a 15ft truck, with extra room available, and we made a single trip. They helped wrap up some of my fragile pieces, moved quickly while loading, and made sure my belongings got to the next destination safely. When we got to the new place they unloaded professionally. They were friendly and made me feel good about the move. I recommend their service and if I need help moving again will reach out another time.

  • Not a bad service. They packed the truck pretty well for a cross country move. They weren't the most professional though and didn't carry themselves too well. Using a dolley to go down the stairs was very loud for the neighbors. For 2 hours and $200, it took 1 hr and don't believe the service was worth $200 per hr. Professionalism in language probably would change my opinion.

They were efficient, hard-working, and courteous. They arrived later than scheduled, due to a job that went longer than estimated (which happens in this line of work on a platform like this). Since we had an afternoon appointment and scheduled our job with only24-hours notice, we planned to be flexible.
