The movers were amazing! They were on time, fast and moved everything with care. Since I had just moved in I did not have anything to offer them to drink, so they left me their own water bottles when they left so I had something! Such gentlemen and down right good people.

This was the best moving company I have ever worked with. Extremely professional and put me at ease with everything. So helpful. The customer service rep helped me figure out my complicated move a few days before it happened. When the movers arrived, Jean reassured me the whole time that he was here to help me. For my next move I will be requesting to work with Jean again! Amazing communication.Thank you so much.

These guys are worth more than they charge. Eugene and Kai showed up 10 minutes early with plenty of equipment to help with unloading my trailer. They were courteous, professional, and worked quickly. They unloaded my trailer and placed things were they were told and rebuilt a bedframe after taking it apart to move it into a bedroom. If I move again, I would 1000 percent use big body movers.

Whitney and Joseph were amazing movers for us.they were on time, early in the states window, very professional and considerate. Whitney took the lead and they both previewed the areas and items to move in detail. We had two locations of items to load up in a specific sequence into two different trucks bound for different destinations. They handled it with ease, much care, and top notch accuracy. Jordan called the night before and after completion to assure we would be and were satisfied. I wish I'd known these guys sooner, would have used them many times. Do yourself a favor and call Big Body Movers.

We just had the most awesome moving experience, and that's saying a lot coming from a 20 year military veteran family! We have a 16' POD that needed to be loaded up for phase 1 of our move to Texas. I picked Big Body Movers because of all the great reviews, and this time the reviews didn't lie. Gene & Devontae were our crew, and they seriously worked their butts off. It was unbelievable how well that pod got loaded. They worked nonstop for 6 hours & got all we thought would fit in it plus a whole lot more! Phase 2 of the move will be coming up in a few weeks, & I definitely know who we will be asking for. Super job, guys. Thank you so very, very much!

Due to a last minute schedule change I reserved at the last minute, literally 8 PM the night before I needed help. Within minutes I received a call confirming my reservation and arranging a time the next afternoon. On my way to San Diego was delayed in transit, I called and they assured me it would be okay just keep them posted. Within 10 minutes of my arrival the team should up and unloaded the truck efficiently and quickly. Will gladly use them again if I need to move again.

They overcharged by 57 dollars an hour due to last minute appointment and it doesn’t truly go to movers it goes to management. But the movers themselves were fantastic and handled everything with care while still going fast so didn’t need to pay for extra hours to get the job done. Will definitely use again.

I reserved these movers on September 21st, and I wasn't contacted by them. I called on Thursday, September 26th and spoke to the owner of Big Body Movers, who informed me that he couldn't yet confirm my booking - that there were multiple bookings that he had for Tuesday. He asked if I could reschedule for Thursday - I told him that this wasn't possible. He then said that he would call me to confirm on Friday (September 26th). He didn't call to confirm; therefore, I am canceling this reservation.

Overall, we felt that the move went very well. We were disappointed when we found that the mattress protector bag was torn, and our mattress was also damaged on the inside of the bag. It appears that the mattress has been drug across the concrete and ripped a hole in the bag. The bags actually had two handles on each side to assist the movers to carry the bag with the mattress inside. We would like to request that the moving company to reimburse us for cost of the protector bags, with which was $70.

Eugene and his crew were amazing. We underestimated how much stuff we had for an out of state move. We had rented a 15’ truck but clearly couldve used a 26’ truck. Eugene and his team did an amazing job fitting as much stuff as possible. Nothing was broken or ruined. They worked in the rain and kept a great attitude and communicated with us all the way through asking our priorities of getting items safely packed. They stayed longer than we booked just to make sure it got done.

Jordan and Pete were both phenomenal two really nice individuals. They helped me above and beyond. I know there were some confusion about the stairs and that was unintentional. I thought I had put it into my order originally but I’m not quite sure if I included the stairs or not or even if it was a question I think there might’ve been some miscommunication between big body movers, U-Haul and myself, because I don’t believe in any way, shape or form that the Mover’s had any ill intent with myself or with Uhaul so I hope that that didn’t come up as a possibility because I remember the call with the U-Haul representative, she sounded kind of apprehensive almost accusatory and I didn’t say something to her at the time but I thought about it that night so I’m glad I have the opportunity to mention it now but no way were they trying to pad my bill or be deceptive in a any way

I spoke with the owner Jordan on Friday to confirm and arrange moving time with helpers. We confirmed 2’pm based on his schedule. I texted at 1:36 to again confirm time and was told 3:00-3:30. I said ok. Jordan then called to inform me that it would be between 4 and 4:30 because the previous client had issues with keys. I let him know on Friday while we had request noon two would be ok four was too late. He let me know that is how the moving industry works. He says Uhaul didn’t have the option of time frames only morning or afternoons and I had the right to cancel. I’m exercising that right. I’ve moved 4 times in San Diego alone. Perhaps while he was in school they didn’t teach time but none of the other professional companies I’ve encountered has the issues with either time and crew management not unprofessional styles. I would never recommend Jordan’s company based on this experience
