  • The two guys who did the actual move were terrific. They were professional, communicated well, and got my son and his girlfriend loaded and unloaded quickly and efficiently. There were, however, some communication issues with the office. First, I texted them upon booking the job but never got a response. Second, they never reached out to me about the move, and I had to call them to get the logistics squared away. Third, they thought the move was only to load the truck, when, in fact, it was both load and unload. And, lastly, they dispatched the guys to the wrong address, so we got off to a late start. I would, nonetheless, definitely use them again. The two gentlemen who did the actual move were that good. I would just call them both the day I booked the move and the day before to confirm everything.

  • Just do it! MOVE RIGHT MOVERS. This company ranks at the top in providing one of the most positive customer service experiences I have ever had (as someone who has spent close to 60 years on this planet). Like, seriously. Full stop. They are that good. If you need help moving, MOVE RIGHT MOVERS is THE ONLY choice you should make. The customer service when I scheduled the moving help through U-Haul was the first indication, with genuine, HUMAN communication, responsiveness, and professionalism. Then, the awesome guys arrived at the busy Mass Ave and D Street corner on one of the hottest days of the summer, and, with awesome, CAN DO attitudes, they proceeded to surpass a 5-STAR rating with their courteous, friendly, no-problem-we-got-this approach to getting my move done after me driving from Detroit to DC. I would recommend MOVE RIGHT MOVERS to anyone needing this service. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

  • The crew was friendly, communicative and efficient. We booked super last minute and they were able to accommodate our request in under 24 hrs. They completed the job well under the two hour booking window but still paid good attention to protecting our belongings. The only thing that caught us by surprise was the additional $100 stair fee that wasn’t mentioned on U-Haul’s booking site, despite us including details of the move (re. one flight of stairs). Otherwise, everything was great!

  • I needed help moving to another unit within the same apartment complex and booked only a day before, so it was pretty short notice. Deborah was really friendly and was able to accommodate me, which I really appreciated. Kenny and the crew showed up and were great. Super friendly, efficient, and easy to work with. They finished what I thought would be a two-hour job in about an hour and 20 minutes, and everything went really smoothly. You can tell they take pride in their work and actually care about doing a good job. I really appreciated their help and would definitely recommend them.

You worked hard, got the job done fast, had a good sense of humor and TONS of energy, and safely squished all the items into my tiny house. • For a second time we are using Right Movers. The team we are using of Kenny, Dalvan, DaVonne and Moye’ is awesome!!! After telling us when to expect them, they arrived right on time. This was a job unloading VERY HEAVY garage and workshop equipment. They had all the necessary moving equipment to do the job safely and professionally; we were impressed!!! They worked well together as a team and asked where to put heavy items so they would be in their permanent locations and we wouldn’t have to move them again!!! We think this is a very special company who employs only very special people; we are a much older couple and these fellows were not only great movers but were very kind and respectful towards us. We would hire them a third time if we ever have more to move!!! They definitely are the Right Movers!!!

  • Movers showed up 2 hours late. After they called and requested move time start earlier, I waited at the location without any further communication or timing updates from them. The first time I called to inquire they said someone would get back to me, and nobody did. The second time I called, the dispatch person was very rude and waisted my time trying to claim this had to be my fault instead of their screwup. He then tried to claim that I had booked an even earlier move time which was both ridiculous and missing the point that nobody had shown up at any time at all. I lost two hours of moving time and was sitting in the direct sun for hours and hours watching the uhaul to make sure nothing was stolen & that I didn't miss the movers.

  • My personal advice.. When you hire movers don’t help ethem move your belongings. Your job needs to be watching everything they do. If you’re helping you won’t see them if they drag heavy furniture across your brand new wood floors and leave deep scratches in them. If this happens and you don’t catch them in the act, they’ll deny it happened and claim it was already there. Then when you try to dispute it the moving company will just deny everything and accuse you of attempting to defraud them. Don’t dismiss your movers until you examine every object and surface. Take as much time as you need, don’t let anyone pressure you if they lined up another job after you, that’s their problem not yours. Only pay when you’re fully satisfied. Comment on everything, and take plenty of pictures and video. If they show up wreaking of marijuana, send them away and call their managers instead of trying to play it cool and letting them start their work.

  • I had a lot of communication problems with this company. I called almost a week before the move to confirm changes made where I added an additional hour. I was told they didn’t have that down, and I only had 2 hours with 3 people booked. I told the representative I upgraded to 3 hours with 3 people. I also make sure to let them know I would like a 2pm start time which they had no problem with. I thought everything was set. I was having a house showing at noon and they showed up to my house by mistake, understandable. Movers were GREAT. They did tell me about some damage, which I respected. I called the office and they were supposed to have someone repair the holes and wall damage. I messaged this morning and never received a reply until 30 mins in the evening after my appt. They never fixed the damage as promised. I have the texts. I had to scramble to repair it as I leave tomorrow. I incurred about $120 in damages due to this move. They should have moving straps as std eqpmnt.

  • The movers themselves were great, but they showed up late from another job. And although I’d booked two hours, their supervisor wouldn’t let the team come help me unload the rest of the truck at my apartment, even though the moving team seemed perfectly willing to do so. So again, the movers themselves did a great job, but my overall experience with the company was less than satisfactory.

  • This is my second time using this company, and I would use them again if I had to. On this second move, the movers' methods were notably less efficient than the first time (for example, how the 'assembly line' aspect was handled, or people hanging out around the truck, etc). Despite this move being an easier one than the first time I used their services, it ended up taking an hour and a half longer to get the job done. That being said, the gentleman were nice and considerate, and the job was done well. I would still use their services again.
