Mostly easy in and out lot. Liked how trucks were parked facing street to leave.

SANDRA LI was told to use the app for pick up and drop off. My 2 boys, ages 12 and 13, and I parked at location just after 6pm. This location was closed. It was dark and secluded. While I was working through the pick-up instructions in the app, I saw headlights pull up behind me. I became suspicious and somewhat fearful for my kids and I. After a few minutes, a man exited the vehicle and approached my drivers side window. My kids and I were afraid, as this location was suppose to be closed. I rolled my window down slightly, and expressed my fear. He told me he owned the location and to "bring it down a notch." I told him I didn't appreciate him approaching my vehicle after exiting his own in the dark in this secluded location after hours. He became irritable and mocking towards me for verbalizing our concerns. I told him I'd finish up in the app, and rolled my window back up hoping he would drive off, but he didn't, which only increased our fears. With some reluctance, hoping he was telling the truth, I proceeded to finish the information. Just before I finished, he approached my car again! He was still persistent and insistent he help me, dismissing our fears and continuing to mock and ridicule me. Finally, he pulled out keys, unlocked the door, and insisted I come in to finish the pick up. The keys gave me slight, but not complete assurance. I needed the truck, so I reluctantly entered the building and finished pick up, all the while him irritable with me, even stating he doesn't care because he only makes $3 a rental! He gave me a much larger truck than I originally ordered or felt comfortable driving, claiming he was "helping" us because it had a third seat. He then attempted a guilt trip, saying that he's just watching out for us, because his son was recently in an accident. He was clearly irritable with me this entire interaction for daring to express fear at his insistent approach towards us. I returned the truck a few hours later that night. I called my son, who was now at home doing homework, so that someone could call the police if the call was dropped. That is how frightened this interaction was to me. Owner or no owner, you never approach a woman's car with her two kids in it after pulling up behind her in a dark secluded location that is supposed to to be closed like that! And then having the audacity to show irritation with them for being afraid?! The only reason I have 2 stars is because the truck was usable. The service was worst possible experience. I wanted to rent a truck, not act in a horror film! Never again

Danielle EThe truck had steering issues and had about 3 inches of play. I called U-Haul and they said I would have to call roadside. I was a ways away from where I pick the vehicle up so I call roadside and they said they would have to send someone out to try and fix it. I said I don't have time and asked them to find me another truck around where I was and they refused and said if I turn the truck in somewhere else I would have additional charges. I said forget it and I'll just drive the truck! Finding me another truck I'm sure would have saved your company money rather than having to send roadside! I just could not believe the lack of customer service. I expected to rent a reliable vehicle and I didn't have time to wait around for roadside! Very poor way to deal with a situation like this!
Benjamin LThe truck was clean but not in good running condition. The truck didn't get into drive or reverse easily. The passenger side mirror wasn't able to adjust. I don't think the gas gauge was working either. During the entire time I had the truck it didn't move not while driving or when I put gas in it

paul vI paid for items that I never received and I had mobile check in and that was never explained to me so I sat there thinking the person left without giving me a truck. Overall, yes I got done what needed to be done however I didn't have the tools (hand truck) that I paid for to get the job done.
