GREG Su-Haul are to put up an official sign at this location. It was very clean and wonderful property however, without a sign it was very difficult to locate.

Lana CI was told that the rental drop-off location in Fortuna allowed night-time drop-offs. However, when I did arrive at this location in the evening to return the van, I could not find a key drop-off box. Not knowing what to do, I left the keys in the locked cab thinking that the office would have a "universal" key to unlock the door. The next morning I received a voicemail message from someone at the office saying that they were going to charge me for some lock-busting fee. I then called that office and explained that I looked all over the site for a key drop-off box but did not find one. The person I spoke with replied that there was a box and that they would be billing me for the lock-busting fee. I have never been blatantly lied to like this in my life. I am trying to forgive this person for this; however, I will never visit this office again.

DANIEL DI never thought I would rent a U-Haul for a month. I had a transmission go out in my truck on a job, the personnel at the U-Haul location in Fortuna have exceeded my expectations. I would recommend them to anyone and they have my future business.
Gerald B24/7 pickup was a nightmare and I wish at least they would have explained over the phone that you can't check in without calling if your late to pick up….would have saved us 45mins. Then, no dolly as pre-ordered even though over the phone they were like "we will have your truck with the dolly ready for you tomorrow"

Please improve communication with local stores so they can warn customers text will be arriving telling you it is required you upload photos of rental, etc...or better yet, do not send the text since uploading photos, etc. Is not necessary, apparently. Merci.

DAVID TI rented a 6x12 trailer. Its tail lights did not work. I could only drive it during the day so my trip took 5 days instead of 2.

BONNIE AThe app for Uhaul would not work correctly. The customer service over the phone sucked. They were not helpful and kept putting me on hold. The app never loaded for me. I had to do online because the business was closed Then my bill was $100 more. I contacted Uhaul and asked them to call me. The app delayed my rental for 2 hours and then I was charged more for the final bill. The uhaul was dirty when I picked it up. I didnt meet any of the actual employees.
Darla DNothing I can think of , it was near perfect as it could be. Truck was clean and ready, ran great. They even gave me a jump start when my car did not start. Highly recommend rhese guys.

Trevor LThere was an error per the mileage originally entered into the database so they tried to charge me for an extra 900 miles at the return in Fortuna! I was under the mileage not over! The drop off location straightened it out but it was not cool.

WILLIAM LI felt that I was scammed into paying an extra cleaning fee. When I picked up the truck it looked clean and was well maintained, but I did not look closely at the "tracks" where the door shuts. We moved furniture. When we returned the truck to the Fortuna Airport Road location, we had to pay a cleaning fee because the person that we returned the truck to in Fortuna said that the back of the truck was "filthy" and that the tracks were filled with mud. We did not have any contact with mud, so it had to be there from when we picked up the truck, but was so minimal that we didn't notice it. We swept the truck out before returning it and it looked clean. We felt that the person receiving the truck was being excessively picky in order to charge us for cleaning and that it was a racket / scam in order to get more money from the customer. This definitely turned us off from the Fortuna Airport Road location.

Dan BTruck was unreasonable physical shape. Mechanically it has a few issues. Steering is very sloppy. Batter my almost didn't start when I stopped for fuel during the trip.
