You did not even give us the correct drop off location. We had to go running around trying to find the drop off place. Time and money!!!! Wasted.
FRANCIS GWhen renting the U-Haul I was not told there would be a $1 charge per mile I go over. He set it at 30 alms after telling him I was moving from Sydney to Sydney river. Feels like I was scammed out of $80+. Will not be coming back to this location nor will I recommend to people. When I called about this the man over the phone treated me poorly, rude then hung up before I was finished. Re train your staff.
Angela HWe had a tie blow out after driving the van empty for only 15 km. U-Haul needs to inspect and replace their tires more frequently. Although roadside assistance was called in, in took them over an hour to arrive. Customer service at this location was very nice and helpful.

MICHAEL MThe experience at Uhaul managed by Cape Breton Flooring was totally awesome! They took control of a reservation made by myself directly on the app. I took a taxi to go pick up my reserved unit only to find out that it wasn't due to be returned until the following day and I was told I would recieve a refund. Not what a person who had a vehicle booked for a week prior wants to find out 15 minutes before his scheduled reservation. Then Uhaul changed my reservation to the address of Cape Breton Flooring and when I arrived there I was told the vehicle Uhaul scheduled me to come get for my 1:00 pm reservation was reserved for 2:00pm by another client. Fortunately the management of Cape Breton Flooring contacted that client and arranged for him to pick up his reservation later that afternoon. If it wasn't for Cape Breton Flooring I would have been left high and dry without the vehicle I had reserved. AWESOME JOB CAPE BRETON FLOORING!!! BOO, HISS HISS BOO UHAUL!!! FOR A LARGE INTERNATIONAL COMPANY, IT'S RUN P.... POOR!!

davis tDont charge them 3 times as much and stuff people do not want to be ripped off, have a uhaul 2 weeks prior and cost $200 even, your customer service is junk as they dont even tell you nothing and then start charging up the chain

FREDERICK CI did book from 2 pm and it was confirmed reservation but i got at 4:30 pm and after that when i went to drop the vehicle i specially confirmed like can i drop here should not be any charges represerative mention no there would not be any charges but they deduct 390 extra from account just for 10 miles , need it back very poor not happy at all
Jaskirat KNot have used ashtrays in the truck...make the small repairs (replace door seal..adjust roll up door so it closes properly) Customers should not have to deal with ashtray stink..air flow through the door or fighting to clothes a door...especially 1 way moves.

Harsimranjit SMy poor rating has to do with my experience with your customer service person. I booked my UHaul rental about 5 weeks in advance. A few days before I was going to pick it up, I got a call telling me I had to pick my my truck a 2 hour drive from where I had booked it - so a 4-hour drive in order to get and return the truck that I had booked 5 weeks in advance. The customer service person was not helpful and offered me no viable solution and eventually hung up, saying that the conversation was going no where. I called back 10 mins later, and got another customer service person, who in 5 mins, was able to find me the same UHaul truck that I had booked. So it was a very stressful experience.

florence wMy rental was scheduled for pickup at 7:00 a.m. Via Mobile pick up. When I arrived and began my check-in, the location had not set up for mobile pickup and as a result I had to pick up the vehicle in person at the desk. While the location attempted to rectify the situation, it's still put Me 2 hours behind which meant that I missed an important engagement and added, what I would aptly describe as a large amount of stress and complication to what should have been an easy day. I rent a fair bit with U-Haul and based on not only the level of problem during the pickup process but also in trying to book the rental in the first damn place, I have to seriously evaluate whether or not I will be renting with U-Haul in the future.

I rented a uhaul from halifax bayers lake in March 2021 and had to pay a $50 deposit that was for a cart thing and was told upon returning the truck I would get it back. I was never given my deposit back. And will bad mouth u haul until it's given to me

Told us we were shit out of luck unless we could wait till tomorrow, he didn't give to Shits ahis attitude was alarming. We walked out after he told us to try another location. Luckily we found your Grand Lake Road place and all worked out well. How ever we were out behind by an hour and we're having load moving help stand around for an hour that cost us $200!!! Probably won't use U-Haul again.

Erica AIf you need to rent a U-Haul in the Sydney, Nova Scotia area, do not hesitate to go to the Cape Breton Flooring outlet. After trying to acquire a rental truck at various U-Haul locations in Sydney, we were fortunate enough to go to Cape Breton Flooring where we received excellent customer service! Ray and Robert worked very hard to secure a rental truck for us. Then Ray and Maggie went out of their way, on a holiday weekend in May, when the outlet was normally closed, so we could pick up the (spotless) truck.
