Experience was very smooth. The owner was super helpful and very nice!
Sophie MI paid for a 15 ft on line they didn't have it so had to get a 10 ft but paid the same price. Had to make two trips with not very much mileage so paying over $41 is not reasonable.

Ashlee BI did self check in so i just had to get the key. The attendant was nice. The truck on the other hand was a pile of junk. I did make it to move and back but it ran really rough, the steering had a lot od play in it which caused me to be all over the road, there was sticky residue all over the cup holders, the seats needed a good wipe down. The driver side sun visor was broken and hanging down. There were stab marks in the ceiling. It is not a well maintained truck. I put gas back in it but the miles to empt didnt change even though the gas hand went up.it had 170k+ miles on it and needs to be retired. But i did make it there move my stuff and back safely.
Tabitha nHad to return our rental because the appliance dolly which I had reserved for as not put in the truck. Also, still working on the $63 refund. I was charged even though I returned the truck immediately once I saw that the dolly was missing. Not a good experience at all. Still had to pay the two movers for the 4 hours I had hired them. Lost $200.

Maxamillion HThis was a complete disaster from start to finish. My pickup location was changed twice without notice, each time moving farther away from my selected location. When I arrived at the second location, no one was there to assist me, so I couldn't even get the rental. The area was sketchy, making the situation even more uncomfortable. I had to call U-Haul to fix the issue, and they sent me to a motel even farther than expected. No compensation was offered for the extra mileage, and this entire situation wasted so much of my time. To make matters worse, when I called on Thursday for help, the customer service rep was rude and unhelpful. And after all this, when I finally went to pick up the U-Haul later that day, everything still went wrong. This whole experience was beyond unprofessional and completely unacceptable. I will never use U-Haul again if I can help it.

CHERYL WWe reserved a furniture dolly and needed it for our move, but when we arrived the Catalina motel advised that they did not have any. They sent us to a larger U-Haul location 3 miles away, who advised they also didn't have any and that it was likely that no one in Lexington had one. U-Haul needs to verify within its network that vendors have the equipment that is being offered.

Steve JLocation was pretty dirty, run-down and not well-maintained. Trucks were all filled with ice and snow when picking up and had to be defrosted before being able to use.

ALAN DThe person that helped me was kind and apologetic and did her best to take care of me. I had a very small amount of furniture that I needed to move one way to Louisville. I asked for a ten foot truck and they were available on that lot. The person helping me said they could not rent a truck to me one way. I was under a time crunch so I had to rent the twenty foot truck. I wasn't happy about it given the much higher price; but I had no choice. So it was more money for the truck, more money for gas, and about fifteen feet of empty space traveling from Lexington to Louisville. Again, the person helping me was nice and apologetic; but couldn't really resolve my situation.

SHANNON SThe woman at the desk was so wiped out of her mind that she could not read my husband's drivers license. A man standing there, non employee, did the paperwork for her. When we called the location, she sounded like she was in bed and at that time I was apprehensive about even going there. We had to have the UHaul because the other UHaul, about 2 miles away, did not have my rental. I reserved it earlier that day from them, but when we got there the man said we don't have that unit. I told him it would have been nice if it let me know that when I was reserving it earlier. Not a good UHaul for experience. Furthermore, my husband had to use his cell phone light so he could see where he was walking and to hitch up the unit. THEY NEEDED LIGHTS!!! Pretty much a totally dark place to go around 7pm.

TAMBRA WCrystal was so helpful in my return. She met me outside upon entering the parking lot. She quickly checked me in and the assisted in navigating in parking the trailer. Crystal was so nice and thankful for my business!
Jonathan Nwhen approaching this location, it seemed very unsafe and looked not clean at all. the office was dirty and smelled like stale cigarette smoke. Overall, the truck was clean, but he location was terrible.

When dropping off the uhaul the same day that evening, the lady (I believe her name was Crystal or Christina) was awesome and very helpful! Both were very prompt with checking in and checking out! Will recommend to others!!
Heather LThe Motel is very run down with people living in it. Traveling as a single woman I didn't feel safe here. Location was easy to get to. Staff was only helpful after complaining that he wasn't being helpful. Just told me to park anywhere and unhook, which at front of building there was no room. I've never had a U-Haul location not unhook an auto transport before, there was also very limited room because it was attached to my motorhome.

darell cOh my goodness, my door didn't shut my whole trip. This whole conversation is recorded. I asked them to pick up the truck to not risk my life again and they came and "fixed" it because I was responsible for returning it to its original place, but once I hoped in to get gas to return it, the door still didn't shut. I called and let them know the door was not fixed and I was scared to hold onto the door for dear life AGAIN to return it after not being fixed, and it sat in my parking lot for a week!! I was forced to return it per my apartment complex so hanging on to the door for my life and the poor unknowing drivers behind me if it flew off, I drove it back. I made it there safely with no one harmed BUT I AM LITERALLY LOOKING TO SUE.
Margaret TJosh was very helpful. Only negative is the location is not great connected to an old motel with sketchy residents. But I would still recommend based on Josh.
