John MFine for a drop off location. But this is a not-very-nice gas station/food mart location, not a U-haul location. But our experience was easy. Drop the key and leave.
MADISON DThey didn’t provide me the furniture pads I requested in my reservation and there was a puddle of water inside the back of the truck.

I selected no because the truck's battery ended up dying on me when I went to pick up an office desk, so my overall move was delayed by two hours. I will say that the U-haul representative was very helpful and the technician that came out did a great job getting it troubleshot.
Daniel CThe attendant was rude and not helpful at all. He didn't come out and do a walk through check with me. The interior of the truck dirty; mud all over the floor, milkshake wasted all over the dashboard, steering wheel and door. The back of the truck was wet and smelled horrible.I had to use the truck because I had to move that day. I took pictures and sent them to corporate office. I have been renting with Uhaul for 30 years and never expected anything like that
Tammie LThe man at the store would not check me in. Requiring me to use the drop box telling me it would be processed later in the day. It was not checked in until 2 days later after I received a call from U-Haul and explained hat happened. In addition I was charged for gas when it had more on return than it did on pick up. Good thing I had a picture of the dashboard.
MURDOCK HThis location is first and foremost a convenience store. They could care less about their U-haul customers. They only have trucks - they have no moving supplies. They do not answer the phone number listed for their U-haul business.

khanh PHave the gas station worker do a proper check . We filled the gas over what we were given when returned and we somehow get accused of not putting the right amount and got charged extra

Brady DThe inside of the truck was actually really filthy and there were no blankets to use as a barrier for the truck. We ordered a hand dolly for boxes and for the appliances and were told he didn't have it, sorry. Which is fine, if we would have known ahead of time to prepare. We were asked to take it to a drop off location 31 miles from where we ended up with no other option for drop off. Luckily, the woman who took it at the Commerce location was an absolute diamond and such a joy to be around.
Desirae GProvide a box for drop off that doesn't require a text to phone that never worked. Make the drop off easier.

Kim MI needed to sweep and remove items from the back of the truck. Otherwise, the truck was in great condition and it worked well.
Shawn BI repeatedly declined the Safemove Fee, however I still was charged for it. I have not received an itemized receipt, so I still do not know how many miles I was charged SEVENTY NINE cents for. Some Type of owners manual in the truck would have been helpful. And could you at least make the outside mirrors adjustable. I was charged $106,78 and put $44,25 in gasoline to fill a truck that was not really full when I got it. That's $150 for 24 hours and 75 miles. Never Again!
Tony BI was supposed to pick up the truck at 8:00am unable to get it until 9 something. The movers I used TBS Partners was terrible. The guys were Two hours late then took forever to load up my furniture that was ready to be loaded. I sent them home early because my daughter and I were having to move the furniture ourselves.

DANIEL PMake sure the person at the counter shows up on time. We were supposed to pick our UHaul up at 9am and the guy didn't show up until 9:30. Another lady in the store had been waiting since 8:30. That's ridiculous!

JAMES WDespite earlier comments to the contrary, the local owner helped me register on-line, the truck and equipment were ready on-time, and there were no additional charges on my account.
Larry DI would suggest a check at the drop site by the 3rd party to ensure additional items such as dolly's are in the truck. I had to drive across town to get one.

Zachary DNever got any paperwork. Didn't have the 5 dozen pads I paid for. Truck was nasty. Back had oil all over the floor like Cargil had rented it prior and it was never cleaned. It was very hard to walk in or up and down the ramp. I still have not been reimbursed for the pads.
Raymond SI am very dissatisfied. After being over charged twice. I still do not know how much I am going to be changed. This place is a joke. They have held my payment information and submitted charges that were not accurate.

ERIC PHe was the other one there and I had to wait One hour and a half to get the truck. I ask him you can't stop helping me and help somebody else. He told me if I don't like it go somewhere else to get a truck. He was very nasty at me and he didn't example nothing to me about the truck
SABRINA RAlso rented a Car Dolly to take my car with me. I had to go to another UHaul location to pick up the Car Dolly and then return to this location to pick up my truck. Have both at the same facility.

Burnis BNeed more locations in the Gainesville, GA area with longer Saturday hours. Only one location in Gainesville, GA is open before 10 am on Saturday. You have to book with him a week in advance to make sure he has the equipment you want. At least this owner/operator allowed me to fill out the paperwork the evening before so I was ready to go at 8 am. He is ready to help out the customer.

John WThe systems were down on Saturday, July 30th when I went to get my reserved truck and I had to wait over an hour while the form was processing. This is after I had to call customer service and switch to a new location after my original pick up location in Clermont, GA could not give me the reserved truck due to the same system malfunction. This put me severely behind schedule. I do have to say that the representative at the location was nice even when he had other customers yelling at him for the delay.

DON DEquipment was clean and presentable. Pickup location was fine. Friendly service. This particular truck had a skip in the engine and the front end seemed to have more than normal sway cruising down the freeway. Otherwise, thanks for the rental. Garland
Garland DI didn't have a great experience with my U-Haul rental this time. I made my reservation online, and was later told in an e-mail that someone would be contacting me to let me know what my pick up location would be. As of about 5 p.m. the day before my move, nobody had contacted me, so I called U-Haul to find out where I was to go. I had reserved a 15 ft truck and an appliance dolly. When I got to the pick up location, the clerk told me that there was no dolly there, and that he never rented dollies from that location. It should go without saying that I shouldn't have been told to go there if the equipment I requested was not available. I went ahead and took the truck anyway (Thankfully, a family member had a dolly that I could use). When I was checking out (being interrupted several times while the clerk sold lottery tickets), the clerk told me that he didn't have a printer, so he borrowed my phone and took a picture of the screen on his laptop. That was my "receipt"! I've had pretty good luck with U-Haul in the past, but this rental process was unprofessional and inconvenient.
