I was very pleased with the service. It was safe and clean. I only wish it was a little cheaper to rent for the 10 X 20 foot space, I would of stayed longer if it was cheaper. Merci

Its just very tight getting in and out with a 28 foot camper. Next year i will ask if i can exit the far east gate as it would be easier

Tom (Facility Manager) is awesome! The grounds are clean, lighting is good at night, and, the property is very secure. I highly recommend Coal City Storage!

The staff at Coal bin in Coal City was very friendly. Always answered my questions and was very responsive to my needs. I would definitely recommend going there when you are need of extra space.

Don’t pro rate if you leave early and charge 30 bucks for a 2 dollar lock rip off

My Mover left the unit immaculate and has photos. The Manager charged my credit card $100 because three small wooden pallets were left at end of bldg near dumpster. The Manager sent me an email, shortly after my Mover left, and said there was trash left and I was being charged $100. I immediately called him to say we would be back to dispose of pallets. He was indignant and said I was closed out of system and being charged. He then threatened me and said he would call police because I left trash all over. He's a nasty miserable man with no customer service qualities. I will never recommend this facility to anyone.

Great place, I have no complaints, everything was safe and clean besides strong summer humidity, but that’s not a facility issue, it’s just hot this summer, thank you guys for the storage!

The staff friendly and helpful. The facility was clean and plowed when it snowed. If I needed extra storage I would go back them. Very well run . Thank you Coal Bin .

Only issue is the gate. You do have to push the buttons firmly. No problem for me, but my wife struggled. The Exit emergency open button had to be used a couple times. Glad it is there. Gate sensor was not working consistently that day. Maybe it was blocked.

I had some furniture and other household items in storage for two winters. There was no moisture in my unit and there was absolutely no smell either. I was extremely satisfied.

The unit is spacious and very clean. The gate and cameras make me feel secure in storing my belongings here.
