U-Haul had double booked my 10' truck and the man working there said it was not the first time that had happened. Since I reserved my truck first, I got to take it, but there was another person there who did not get a truck and he was not happy about it! Truck was very clean, rode well and had ice cold AC!

The drivers side brake light and turn signal did not work. The guys worked with it an hour but couldn't get them fixed. They said that's all they were allowed to touch that U-Haul would have to do any further repairs. It caused me to be an hour late to where I needed to be and I had people that I was paying to help me waiting on me. This was the only trailer on the lot with a ramp and I had to have a ramp so I risked getting a ticket due to improper lighting.

I was surprised that I was required to pay an additional $20, I guess for dropping it off when the center was closed, even though it had to be dropped off on Sunday and that facility is closed on Sunday.

I did not like how the truck had a set of blankets tied up, as well as a set of hand trucks in there, with a pay to snip zip tie. If I had wanted blankets and a set of hand trucks, I'd had ordered that in my original order. They were basically in the way and took up space that I could have used. That is the only issue I have with the experience. Other than that, extremely easy usage on the app, as well as the vendor who I picked the truck up from. 4 stars

The mobile check in was an absolute pain. I had completed all the paperwork ahead of time (online of course), yet the mobile check in wanted just about everything all over again. I ended up having to stand outside the door of the office building so that the gentleman could check us in. I couldn't go inside because they smoke - HEAVILY, and I am highly allergic to cigarette smoke. I highly recommend upgrading the mobile check in process, so that people can actually avoid circumstances like I found myself in, especially if the renter has already completed the paperwork and added driver's licenses beforehand. Returning the vehicle was easy.

The owner or worker at the location was extremely friendly (good customer service) despite the WiFi issue (did not work) and the lack of air conditioning during high temperatures on that day.

I received notice that the turn transaction was not complete. I turned the trailer in a day early. It appears the person at Crossroads Automotive did complete the turn in process on his end. He told me he would check me out and I was good to go. What happened ?

Was not real familiar with renting from u-haul so I could have used a little more info from the people I rented from about returning trailer. I know he has a thankless job but he needs to be a little more friendly to the public.

Consider providing discounts for military veterans. A lower mileage rate would be good. The proprietor at Crossroads Automotive was was very accommodating when the landlord held up our move in by more than 3 hours. When extending my drop off time he thanked me for my military service!

I have rented many uhauls over the years. I've never had a vehicle this poorly maintained. I will find another way of moving in the future.

I hate to give an average rating because I'm unsure if this is the locations fault. Chose this location, got there Sunday and the App's 24/7 mobile whatever it is wouldn't work. Couldn't get the lock box combo to get the key. After speaking with UHaul they sent us to another location 30 minutes away because they had the truck we needed (15 foot). We get there only to find out they have a 10 foot and a 26 foot. Not what we were told.

U-HAUL asked me to deliver/return my truck to a lot 40 mins away from my destination-there were several closer I guess this location needed that size. Return lot was in a sketchy location and was not manned. Lot had overgrown grass and some junk cars in it as well. To top it all off, I was even charged an additional $100 due to time it took to drop off vehicle. So, I basically helped U-Haul out and had to pay for it. Called to complain twice was told I would hear back and never heard back from a representative. I felt taken advantage of. SHAME ON U-HAUL. My first move I used Penske with no issue. Looks like they were a better deal.

Excellent service. Can't come up with one thing that would need to improve. The gentleman I dealt with worked with my work schedule with getting key and picking up. Excellent customer service. Also liked that I could so alot on line to save time

Had a very difficult time with the mobile app. There were 2 other clients trying to check in equipment and were having the same problems. I know this has nothing to do with this location, but I thought this information would be helpful. It was very frustrating after moving all day, then spending 30 minutes trying to check in the vehicle, only for that to be unsuccessful. Then get an email from the recovery team the following day saying you havent returned the vehicle. Then make another phone call to make sure everyone and just tech support is in the same loop.

I was signed up for a truck in Chelsea. I arrived at that location and had to call truck share. I waited for over an hour to get a person. They then told me a glitch in the system had occurred and I had to drove another hour the opposite way to get another truck. I don't think I would recommend.

Butch was an absolute pleasure to work with!! He was SO kind, helpful & informative of the rental process & information. We will be renting the truck again to move our belongings from storage once our new home is ready & we will 110 % be calling Butch to rent his 26' truck again in a week or two!! I HIGHLY recommend his location & services & will refer him to all of my family & friends!

Maybe review the return process. This is a tedious exercise... and redundant. The attendant told me that after I checked in, he had to check behind me anyway. I saved $20 by checking in myself, but it seems redundant to do something twice. Just my opinion.

What an awful experience. First, I did not opt for insurance when I reserved a pickup truck. My auto policy covers pickup trucks. However, I was told that the insurance was mandatory, by the local vendor, which is not true according to Uhaul's website. Second, I was required to provide two references although they have all my credit card information, copy of lisence, et.. However, the worst part was the vendors attitude when I returned the truck (24 miles and 2 hours later). I brought in my receipt, but he said he didn't need it. So I asked if he could check the truck and give something to verify that it was returned as I found it. He didn't like this but followed me out to the truck, then he walked away and came back in a couple of minutes with a broom and began sweeping the back of the truck. I asked him if he could give me my receipt. He got nasty at this point implying that I was giving him a hard time, so I explained that the truck was filthy when I picked it up, and I just wanted my receipt. He ordered me to go wait in my car until he got around to it, at which time I told him to forget the receipt and that I would follow up with Uhaul. I am not happy!

Have someone ANSWER customer service when the website is down. I could not scan to return my vehicle, and customer service didn't answer... They called me back about an hour later, and we got disconnected! Then I never got another call back.

Did not have what I want in my rental for me to use and you still charged me for them. No one at the place of business for me to even ask for any of the pads I wanted that I did not get.
