A live person helped me "pick up my truck" sine the scan does not work and I ended up calling the local phone#. The person on the other line was very friendly and helpful. Merci.

Jimmy AThe issue I had was with the lock box. It took us 30 extra minutes plus a phone call to uhaul to help get it open. Other than that, everything went smoothly. I'd use the same place again.

William AI intentionally opted for the front desk pick-instead of self so if there was anything I missed or I had questions I could speak to someone in the moment. When I arrived at the location the door was locked with a sign directing me to another location. I arrived there & from the moment I walked in, the front desk person was annoyed with my existence. I gave my name & what I was there for, she snapped "you're a self pick-up at my other location", I met her with the same energy & explained I was not. She began awkwardly talking to her computer & printer as to only fill the space instead of engaging with her customer. She began going over the details, talking to me as if I were a child who needed a map drawn, as she is finishing the instructions she says "you need to make sure the office you choose is actually open because if I would've closed MY OFFICE, you would've been OUT", as in she was doing me some sort of favor by being at work today. I took the paper from her hand & walked out before I found out what jail food tastes like. The truck had a big dent & scratches on the passenger side that was not displayed in the precheck, I reported that in the app. The transmission slips when you drive downhill & the brakes need work, I also reported that when I turned the truck back in. Not that anyone cares or will read this but this will be the last time this establishment gets a hard earned coin from me!

Alice DThe process to pick up the truck online did not work. So it took me a significant amount of time to get the keys, and then I had to leave before I could complete all the steps because the camera did not work. There was no one on-site to help and it was 2 PM on a Thursday, and there was no one to speak to. The process would be easy if it worked, and it would make the process much easier on the location, but it was very frustrating that it didn't work and I couldn't speak to any.

Janice WEverything worked as expected and I was able to get in and out efficiently considering it was an unmanned location. The only problems were that I was not able to upload a picture of the odometer and gas level upon check in so I have to rely on others to report that it was returned correctly and without damage. The 2nd issue was that there was a problem with the truck that did not affect drivability. Over 40 MPH, if I took my foot off the accelerator or only half-depressed it, there was a whining noise that increased in pitch if I drove faster. It stopped below 40 MPH and if I was accelerating. I was rarely above 60 MPH since I was almost exclusively on state roads or back roads but it made me nervous to get above 55.
Scott HI would tell the next customer to not use the rideshare rental program. I was never able to login on the app. I had to call customer service several times. 10-15 minute waits every time. I got transferred to several different departments for help because the person in customer service couldn't resolve my problem. One person told me I had to resolve the problem by using chat in the app. Wrong! Called back and got another person who could help me. Terrible experience with the app and rideshare. I'll never do that again. The truck pickup was terrible. I'm there with the vehicle and they are trying to call someone at 7am on Saturday morning to confirm my identity after I sent pictures of me, my drivers license, they have my credit card info too! Stupid!!! My wife was in the shower and didn't answer the phone so it was wasting my time waiting on them to confirm who I am. I had the reservation for nearly a week. All of this could have been done before I'm actually standing there trying to get the truck. The truck was great and the location was convenient!

Mary GI was told by the pick up location that I could drop off the van at any location nearest me at no extra charge. On Monday, 5/17, I received a call from personnel at the Arab, AL original drop off location asking me where I had dropped off the van. I told him Heritage in Cullman, and he said that he would contact them so I would not be charged for dropping off at a different location. I was STILL charged $59 to my card for dropping the van off at Heritage in Cullman, AL instead of the Arab, AL location (which was out of my way). I am very disappointed in U-haul. Apparently it's acceptable for Uhaul not to notify me of a change in location for my pickup, but I'm charged $59 for dropping off the van at a different location. I will never use U-haul again and I will encourage all my friends to stay away from U-haul.

Kristy MI did the 24/7 pickup and drove to the location which was already 30 minutes the opposite way from where I was moving. I get to the location, and the truck isn't there. I called on the phone and they said the person didn't put it out there. She told me that the nearest one was somewhere else. It turned out to be another hour in the opposite direction. I picked up the truck, moved everything, and when I went to return it to the location.
Justin BWhen the customer pays for an extra service such as renting a dolly. Make sure it's on the truck for them.

Cessley hThe first place I went to pick up my reserved U-Haul they didn't have one so I had to drive across town to pick up at a different location. I prefer to deal with someone face to face than use an app.
