Issues with the truck ignition malfunction parked causing lights to flicker on and off
RIVER RReturning the vehicle was difficult since we did not have the phone that was oringally used to set up the reservation. There should an alternative way to return.

Patrick SKarns was great, 5 stars family business with Dad teaching Daughter how to rent a trailer. Receiving an email that started with, paraphrasing "we've tried to contact you about equipment that was not returned" was not. You didn't try to contact me because there was no previous call, text, or email. In fact, I had returned the equipment early so I could be home when my son in the army called at 19:00. I called and learned that the equipment had not been checked back in yet, leading to the email. The email seems a little heavy-handed for a first contact, and is clearly inaccurate since no one tried to call prior. I called the 800 number and it was cleared up and I received an automated thanks-for-the-business email shortly thereafter. I rely on uhaul trailers to move things, from cars to machinery. You are the only game in a 60 mile radius. I don't want an underserved mark against me the next time I go rent a trailer.

Jessica Di reserved this trailer online a month in advance to make sure equipment would be available at this location at the day and time requested when i called the location 3 days prior to my pickup date they did not have the trailer and are closed. the pick location did adjust my reservation for me. Uhaul should have commuicated more or did this if i would have calle4d i would have been screwed
JIM MMy complaint isn't specifically for the location where I picked up the truck, but with U-Haul in general. They canceled our reservation and we didn't know they did because they let us take the truck. We found when they called us the next day saying they were going to call the police because we hadn't brought the truck back. Then we ended up paying more because they said that we didn't put 3/4 of a tank of gas in which we did so we got an extra charge. And I wish I would have actually checked the mileage because I'm pretty sure they are saying we went more miles than we did but I didn't check it before we dropped it off. I will not be using U-Haul for any future moves and I will not be recommending U-Haul to anyone.

Bill MI kind of got screwed out of 30 minutes on a 5 hour rental because the clock started at 8::00 am as I scheduled online. Because they took care of other non UHaul business during checkin I didn't get the truck until 8:30 am.

Donald EI was supposed to have picked up my truck on Transit Rd. Which is 5 miles from my home. You sent me a text telling me to pick up the truck in Cuba NY which is one hour and 45 minutes from my home. You said I said I didn't care where I picked up the truck which is a bald faced lie. I specifically told the person at the counter I wanted to pick the truck up on Transit Rd. I asked to be contacted by phone and you sent me a text which I don't use. You said you also send me an email which is not true. I saw the text at 4:30 which was too late for me to call Budget or another supplier.I had to get up at 5:00AM in order to get the truck back for the movers I had scheduled at 11:00AM. You need to be honest with you customers and not put them in impossible situations.
Paul HI would reccommend this place in the southern tier to anyone who has or needs to move even thou they didn't have a appliance dolly they deducted it off the bill Not just anyone does that . I'm impressed..Happy customer.

Janet CFirst rental had transmission slipping, after leaving rental location we had to do uturn and return. 2nd rental had cracked windshield, which uhaul " knew about" per Karns. John did show us. Truck ran ok but play in steering.uhaul notorious for poor maintainence. do Better Uhaul. No excuse. Every time I ever rented a truck there were issues, sadly. Who needs that on moving day, really...

Troy KMy only issue is not with the location, but UHaul overall. The app to drop the trailer after hours is horrible & did not work. No matter what we did we could not complete the return. We had to call the 800-number & they took note of the drop off time so we didn't get charged a fee (& I hope we didn't, waiting for the charge to hit my account since today is a bank holiday!)

Christian AThis is a message for corporate more than anyone I have rented 3 times from Uhaul this summer and twice I was disappointed. Twice i was told my reservation was all set and twice it was changed on me. Both costing me a significant amount of time and money. Whats the point of reserving an item if I can't get it at the location and time i want? I will be going with another provider next time.
Eric PCar hauler worked great. Hauled a wrangler with 33" tires, needed to use my own straps to tie it down, but I expected that. Overall it was good deal and I would rent one again in the future.
