Pick up location is fine but uhaul as a company is terrible and I will never rent from your company again

Earl KThe business was closed so I did not speak to anyone on site. All the vehicles in the lot were clean on the outside. I was told that thos would be my drop off location on the phone the day before I picked up but it had changes when I actually dropped it off but customer service was able to change it. I was charged a $25 cleaning fee which I don't believe was right because I was told we only had to sweep it which we did. We didn't wash the outside because it was dirty when we picked it up. Consistency of the condition of the vehicle when you pick ot up from lot to lot would be nice. An additional charge for returning a dirty truck (outside) as that was the way we were given it is a cash grab that wasn't appreciated
Arron CTrailer was ready to go & in good condition. Staff was very friendly with all the paperwork & hooking up the trailer. Would use them in the future
Allan KWhen I booked the 6x12' trailer I was told one would be brought to Grande Prairie for us when we needed it. I was surprised when KTC in Valleyview called to say they had our trailer! Valleyview is a one and a half hour drive from Beaverlodge, which meant 3 hours to pick it up and get back home to load. When I called the dispatch they said there was nothing the size we needed in Grande Prairie. I have spoken to several people who say this is typical of U-Haul. How disappointing. We booked well in advance and if they could not guarantee one to be there I should have been told that at the start. Please discuss this with your booking staff. Don't let them make promises that can't be fulfilled. KTC was excellent to deal with, but they too expressed frustration with how the booking are managed.
Darcy LA lot pricey but I had a long haul . Had to tape up the chains . They were too long other than that was all good . Everyone was good at pickup and drop off .

Kenny TStaff were very accommodating and dealt with me in a timely manner. They came out and checked the condition of the unit right away and supplied a jack to disconnect the unit from my vehicle, I didn't have to strong arm it unhook it.

Vicki KI'm terrible with names, so I forgot hers, but the lady that was working the front when we rented our U-Haul on march 31st was exceptional and went above and beyond for us. She was friendly and even helped us get free mileage to get us back to where we were actually moving, saving us paying for mileage we couldn't avoid using. She had been quite busy as she was by herself and the car wash was suddenly getting busy, and yet she was still upbeat and friendly. Without a doubt, I would recommend this place!

Brian PI have had the worst experience with U-Haul!!! I had booked my U-Haul months in advance to ensure everything would go smooth with the move only to get a call two days before my move that there was no U-Haul available in my town. I had to drive to the next community and back again to get the size of truck I had reserved. That added a total of three hours onto my day. The loading day, and driving five hours to my destination, had three extra hours added on. They did say they would give me a free day to pick up and would not charge me for the 165 km it took to drive from one town to the other. Which they should have done anyway, because the error was on their part not mine, there is a U-Haul in my town and they should have had the booked truck there for pick up. There was no coverage for the gas money in the truck, and in the second truck I had to take to get to the next town and back again. Gas is at an all time high right now, and the cost was astronomical. Also there was no discount for the time loss and the duress I was under from this last minute change. I will never again choose U-Haul, I would not recommend them to anybody, and I will not give them a good word at any point.

David DAlthough this location is spacious and well organized, the yard was very muddy and lacking gravel.
Rene BThe truck has very bad tires so they had problems with getting stuck or just spinning out on the ice. Pick and delivery of the truck was a breeze and the staff at KTC is great!
Arlene GI used this location twice . I was skeptical about using uhaul at first , but I bit the bullet and I gave it a try. Was painless cheap and a life saver . Uhaul is awesome . Got charged exactly what I was quoted for and no hidden charges . Thanks again I'll always use uhaul for future moves

Adam Sdumbass uhaul wanted to charge me for an extra day rental when I returned it during business hours on the day stated on my contract. Fortunately this dealer refunded me cash.
John-Michael PDo not reserve and take payment then 3 days before tell the customer that their is no trailer available but they can go to Vancouver and get one to take back to the Victoria at my expense. Then say there is one available the next week but the next day oh there might not be one available till the end of the month. This is was a major inconvenience and stress once things were all planned. I had an option of borrowing a trailer but I thought Uhaul would be an easier option and affordable. How wrong I was.
Bonnie CA special thank you goes to Patricia Nunoo for finding a way to allow us to check out via email. The online option wasn't working and we had to call the toll free number. Patricia was able to find another option for us when the location was closed. Another special thank you go to attendant at the drop off location. He worked at the adjoining business and contacted the 'powers that be' to allow us to park in the fenced in compound when we were dropping off the truck. The location was closed and we were dropping off the truck a couple of days early. He allowed us to feel more secure with the location that we parked the truck at.
Tammara RShe explained to me about the EXTRA costs and the extra mileage and I pit in 130 km when I booked online, so it was just another and another charge after charge, I didnt even want to hear anymore and said whatever I just need to get to work , pockingnit up at one place and dropping it off at another I had to get a cab to drive me to my car to bring it to the drop off place so I could to work monday morning after dropping it off. I was fed up. I put in$50 worth of gas and dropped it off with more gas than It had in it when I picked it up( 1/4 of a tank) and no reimbursement? Whatever not using the service again nor will my family/ friends in the rest of canada and the us
