I tried to rent a 10FT truck from this location weeks ago and the lady told me "Do you see any out there?, we don't have any", I made it clear my rental was NOT for that particular day and as a former U-Haul sales person I knew U-Haul FREQUENTLY Shuttles Equipment from one location to another to fulfill requests.. I once rode in a Motorhome operated by U-Haul Employees to pickup U-Haul trucks and trailers in Bullhead City, AZ to be delivered where requested in Las Vegas, NV.. To turn a customer away like that, seemed unproductive, unhelpful and disrespectful after I took the time to drive all the way out there to NPE to inquire..

Everything was perfect. Equipment was ready clean and everything we asked for. The Whole experience Was uneventful . No problem. If we have to move again would Use U-haul in a heartbeat.
ALAN PInspect the condition of trailer before you rent it out. Our trailer was missing door seal. Had to duck tape it to keep weather out.

DAVID GThe location was great uhaul in general piss poor experience your 6x12 trailer tongue is about 400lbs so after damn near breaking my back trying to lift it I decided to rent the box truck and it couldn't even drive up a 5 %incline driveway tires just spun on next to no ice after we loaded it so three hours after loading and unloading in the same location I took it back and threw employees help lift the 6x12 into my truck hitch then I blew my back out taking it off my hitch when i dropped off after hours now it's two days later and i still can barely move
MICHAEL ASo pleasantly surprised at how helpful staff was - only recommendation is for U-Haul to make it a standard practice to grease trailer balls before allowing towing. Since this was not offered or available at the Mancelona, MI representative office, I bought a small tube of grease in Kalkaska, MI an greased trailer ball before heading on an 1 100 mile drive.

Robert KRequired us to back trailer into its parking lot ourselves which we have no experience doing so was very stressful. They should allow you to simply drop off the trailer and they can wheel it into its spot. That's what the UHaul service provided at the beginning end of this journey, but not here.

fairman bTruck had to be swept out, windshield cleaned, and service engine light code cleared. Code is due to Uhaul design of vehicles and relocating the catalytic converter.
John K6x12 enclosed trailer tongue is too heavy to pickup by one person. I had to use a jack to get it off my hitch. They need a tongue jack instead of dropping to the ground.
