The U-Haul wasn't the cleanest on the outside, and did not have any of the equipment requested and paid for. This included two dollies and furniture pads.

Vishal Moverall not a great check-in experience. i don’t think it was fault of the location, the problem is more about u haul relying almost entirely on unstable automation for check-in. what should have been a fifteen minute experience turned into a 45 minute long ordeal which ate into the rental time i paid for, due to technical difficulties i encountered with the website and app. would have been helpful to easily access the help of an actual person when needed.

Despite having good service/connection on my phone it took literally an hour to complete the process due to waiting for 'live' staff on the other end to respond. Everything kept timing out (because it was taking so long for the next step) and I had to start the entire process over 4 times. The truck also had a dolly loaded in the back that I did not order , but none of the packing blanket pads that I did in fact order. On a good note, returning the truck was a much quicker process

Suzanne BThe truck was ok. The downsides were that the dolly and blankets were missing and the battery was too low to start the engine. On the very positive side was that every person I spoke with on the phone and at the 415 W 2100 South street location in Salt Lake City, Jonathan in particular, and at the Tire Barn drop off location in Monument, Bob, were all super friendly. So, yes, I'd recommend U-Haul with the suggestion to pick up and drop off at locations with U-Haul staff present.

JACK MI rented a 15' truck and could not adjust the mirrors! You have to use an Allen Wrench, which I didn't have. Come on U-Haul, are you serious??

Trudy JI am not cell phone literate, just use it as a phone and information, not to go to interactive web sites, etc. And there was no one at the place where I picked up the van. Called the number there and the other person entered all the data and got the passcode. I commend him, he went way beyond what was necessary. One thing, on returning it, to enter the information required that I join some UHaul thing. I don't join, that just generates endless spam. So I just left the van at the drop off site with the keys in the lock box. It seems to me it would be easy for you to make the drop off so that just enters the mileage and miles and contract number in a public site where the customer does not have to join whatever thing UHaul was asking me to do.
scott hI was a bit unsure about picking up the truck after hours. The gentleman from the company sensed this and personally called me Saturday morning and walked me thru the process. This was above and beyond customer service!!!!
howard cI was towing a dolly and this location doesn't usually handle this piece of equipment, however they said to bring it in and they would take care of me. Good customer service.
Mark PIt was clean enough as a drop off venue but not overly inviting. It didn't look like a place to drop off a Uhaul truck despite a couple of others being there. It's also a very small lot and pulling a 26' truck into the lot seemed to overwhelm the place.
Geoffrey HWell.... we drove the uhaul a total of 19 miles. We added $10 of gas on return ($3,8/gal) and attached the receipt with the keys. When the final bill was sent we were charged for an additional 2 gallons. How is it possible that we used 5,5 gallons of gas in 19 miles? Do your trucks really only get 4 mpg? Something is incorrect.... either gas was siphoned from the tank (the parking lot is not secured), the gas gauge isn't accurate, or these trucks are not maintained. Hinky.
Amy OThis was incredibly awful. I needed uhaul on the line with me for the whole time as thing after thing went wrong. First my reservation didn't link with my phone number, so I re-entered all info a second time, essentially ending up with two reservations, but only one accessable. I got to the part of checking out my vehicle 2 hours after beginning the process, only to have the app glitch out before giving me the code. A call to uhaul said my vehicle had been dispatched and only a call to the location could check in the vehicle I never received. I cancelled that reservation because it was after dark at that point and I was supposed to pick up my table in daylight hours. The uhaul assistant cancelled my 2nd reservation and changed the time of my original reservation to the next morning and gave me the reservation code. The next morning I went to the location again, only to have to call uhaul AGAIN because the reservation was showing up as needing to talk to a person there and no one was at the location. I couldn't access the reservation by phone without getting that switched. Luckily this time they stayed on the phone with me until I got the keys. The process of getting verified and getting the keys took 45 minutes with them on the line the whole time. I made 3 calls total. 1 to get the code after the app glitched out. 2 to get my reservation linked to my phone number and 3 to get my reservation to show up for remote access. Each call took 10 minutes to be connected and 10 to 45 minutes on the line. One last thing: at this location, the key locks are hard to open because the latch is next to the fence. The on the line uhaul person said the latch should be toward me to make it easier. It took 8 minutes of jiggling and messing with the code to open the lock.
Jennifer MGot a call the day before to confirm my pick up time and to give a bit of information. Truck was ready and ran great. Drop off was simple. Thanks for the smooth move!

ziaurahman sIt was an easy experience. It was my first time so I appreciate easy. But finding where to return the vehicle was confusing. I would have loved maybe an email right when I picked it up so I could just click to drop it back off. Aside from that experience was good.

Tyler PWhen I filled out the rental form online I selected that I did not want insurance coverage. But when I got the receipt by email I saw they added on $15 of coverage. I won't rent from this location again. The inside of the cab was dirty and the engine light was on the whole time.

Bo RThe guy who runs this location is very kind and a sweet person, but I was never even asked for my license upon check in. It seems that I got rushed out the door, and because of this was given defective equipment. My window of my Uhaul randomly blew up and completely shattered all over me. Again not this locations fault, as he was a nice guy.

robert wI have never been treated soo poorly, I haven't felt disrespected like I was in my entire life. They mocked me and called me a racial slur. I will never go thru them again, I am making sure I tell absolutely everyone I come in contact with about the horrifying manner in which I was treated. They had the nerve to still charge me. I should be refunded as compensation for the despicable treatment I received
