Parking is awful....no help moving it to far back loft

Confusing as to where the drop off was.

Truck had tire pressure warning light and check engine lights on when we started it. No one to assist on a Sunday so I called main UHaul number who apparently doesn't know about trucks and couldn't tell me whether it was safe to drive. They advised that we called roadside assistance (in UHaul lot before leaving) or try to fill the tire ourselves. We opted for the latter and the light never went off after bringing rear right tire up to same pressure as others. What a ridiculous situation to be put in. There were about 5 other trucks of the same size there and another 10 of other sizes… they couldn't give us one without maintenance problems!? On top of that they did not provide the shipping pads/blankets that I ordered so I had to make a trip to get some elsewhere, at my mileage expense of course. I had confirmed everything on Friday including blankets so there is no excuse. I'll never use UHaul again when there are simpler more reliable choices everywhere.

The store was closed, so the drop of was done entirely on the app. The truck parking lot was behind the strip mall which was a bit of a distance from the key drop off.

Excellent customer service. Van was ready and waiting when I arrived. Staff went the extra mile and even helped me unload the van when I was done.

Best staff and cleanest trucks. Plan ahead for parking/truck pick up - give yourself an extra 10 minutes. The team here is so professional, fun, and kind.

When I originally filled out the paperwork online I requested the Morristown U-Haul location on MLK Rd, and I have the email with the confirmation number that states that. I only found out the morning of that I was somehow changed to Madison, which is further away. This added mileage to my move that I had to pay for, as well as took time away from my move. I was not happy about any of that. The people at the Madison location were nice and helpful, however the issue with my reservation being moved made me really unhappy. I would not recommend U-Haul to friends of mine if this is how the business is run.

Gas was not accurate, uhaul was dirty and lot of markings. I was on E and almost didn't make it to the main road from pick up. Please provide updated uhaul models.. roller windows in 2025,

The truck was dirty, air conditioning did not function. Wires looked pulled and one was not connected and on the floor. Hard to understand why we were issued this truck when others there were clean and in much better condition.

Truck was so clean and new. I was very surprised. The customer service man was very nice. Address given was 300, but shopping plaza sign it's located in says 306, so had trouble finding the place.

The U-Haul van was dirty and smelled of urine. I personally cleaned it and they charged me for cleaning saying it had garbage in the front cabin. I have pictures of the return and that is not true. They are in the process of refunding my $25 cleaning fee.

I was given a dolly with a flat tire. I didn't use it. When I dropped the dolly back off I asked if I could be refunded since I didn't use it. They said yes. The receipt I received for the final charge had the dolly rental on it. Now I am working to dispute this which takes time and energy and frustration. Suggestion for improvement: simply make sure your equipment is operational; and certainly before giving to a paying customer…and do what you say you will do.

The guys at this location were fantastic. One thing was the price was a little misleading. Uhaul was advertised at 19,95 plus mileage but I was billed 19,95 twice plus mileage.

It was a pack and ship store location so it was a little strange dropping off a 26 foot truck in a parking lot that can only handle normal size vehicles. Other than that the person that helped me out was very nice and professional, and the transaction went very quickly. Just a little confusing coming into the parking lot. It's a little tight with a large vehicle.

Quick and easy. Got what I needed when I needed it. Staff was very helpful and explained the process thoroughly.

Easy drop off, the only draw back was the drop of was all the way in the back of the building, far from the store. I was lucky to have someone who followed me to drive me back up to the store. It's a busy shopping center so there really isn't any other place to leave the rental. Staff in the store were very nice.

The service light for tire air was on. Im glad I changed my reservation here instead of Basking Ridge Towing in Morristown. There's no one here. The truck assigned to me wasn't the truck # there. I had to wait 20 mins to speak to someone to fix the situation. It was a frustrating experience.

Location was good. However, they didn't have the dolly which paid for and didn't tell us it wasn't there. So I had to go to a different U-Haul store add miles to my drive and rent another dolly. This ended up taking my a lot more time and adding miles to the U-Haul which increased the overall price by well over $15.

They over charge for miles and days. Total ripoff scam artists. I was charged more than double what I should have. Avoid at all costs

All good except for the App to pick up key. Horrible, stupid, unintuitive and user unfriendly. The software must have been written by an idiot. Killed the experience despite the store folks being polite and helpful.

Managers and customer service representatives were rude, unproductive, and downright unfriendly. I will never use this location again. Their service is extremely poor.

Inside box was covered in soil. Cab was filthy and they want to change me for gas when I picked it up and returned it with 1/2 tank. I called uhaul when I picked it up. They made notes of my complaints.

The truck has an exhaust fume leak in the cab, and we had horrible headaches by the time we were done with the move. Horrible that the truck isn't maintained. The location was unwilling to do anything about it.

I have a uhaul rental 4miles from my house. The truck needed was 23 miles from my house for pickup. My given miles started to be used from pickup location. Should be calculated from closest uhaul. Not my fault the truck wasn't at the closer location. Other then that all went well.

Rude, charged for gas we didn't use and they refused to refund us even with proof. They said we are "actual" U haul! I will never rent or recommend U haul as a brand ever again.

It took almost 2 hours to log on for pick up. Location services wasn't recognized by the app (yes they were turned on). Tried connecting on 3 phones. Customer support put me on hold for 40 minutes then disconnected without a return call. 2nd support person Susan did ok. Extremely frustrating experience. Will not use this service again.

The van I rented was disgustingly dirty and smelled HORRIBLE inside! The van looked (and smelled) as if it was never cleaned. The inside was filled with dirt, mud, dog hair and ironically smelled like "wet dog" inside. The windows were so dirty, I had to clean them to be able to see out of them. The check-out app requires that the customer inspect the vehicle before leaving with it. This is the responsibility of UHaul, not the customer and not withstanding, some of the pictures in the series were pictures of another van, not the one I was renting.

It was a lot more complicated than any other locations for U-Haul apps. I've been to different towns and it's been quite easier than the Madison location, which was my first time using.

I was told if i rent over 28 days i would have a better mileage rate i was charged over $2 000 this is unacceptable and to make things even better they charged my credit card until June 14 2024 and it’s still May and the van was returned on May 13 2024.

The fact that I had to pay $150 because I accidentally locked the truck with the keys inside is totally unreasonable. The police were more than willing to help for free, but still U-Haul decided to go ahead and charge that ridiculous amount. Accidents happen.

Many uhauls can be dropped off at different locations. It was very inconvenient to have to come back to the same one to drop it off. If that was the case I would have rated it excellent and would recommend to friend.

Clean the vehicle. I asked the owner "Is is clean"? His reply was yes. After walking a quarter mile to retrieve the vehicle when I open the doors there was mud all over the floor as well as food and dog hair on the two front seats. Pretty bad.

I purposefully chose self check in, however, when I got there thsi was not an option and I had to wait in line. I attempted to explain that I not only chose the self check in but had completed and asked where the keys and truck where. The gentleman then stated that he had to verify me as the driver with my DL. even as I explained the online check in had already done so. He was not only condecending but rude as he told me regardless I had to wait because he had to help another customer who arrived after I did. After eventually getting his attention he saw my check-in on my phone and gave me the keys without having to verify. Unfortunately the trucks are not near the store but on the opposite side of the back of the strip mall. When I asked was just told "behind staples" So I had to walk in the cold by myself to find it. As a person this makes me sad, worried and scared. Unfortunately as a woman I have to worry about my surroundings and having to find a truck in the back of a lot that is isolated, with a forest in the back and little supervision or safety procedures in place when getting and dropping cars off (had to walk back to drop keys) is non existen, even in a town that is relatively safe. Aside from that no directions on key drop off and when I sttempted to follow the prompts on the drop-off box (uhaul.com/

I never thought about the secret parking lot behind Staples that housed the Uhauls. Maybe some better signage since i would never think this location had uhauls.
