I first reserved a rental of a 20' truck from U-Haul Moving & Storage of Morningside at 1501 E Mcgalliard Rd, Muncie, IN 47303 on Wednesday 5/28/25 for the day of 5/31/25 at 12:30pm edt. I was then contacted on the DAY I was to pick up my truck at 9:40am edt by Sara who stated that a family was running late by a couple of hours and my truck I RESERVED 3 DAYS earlier had been rented out. She stated that there weren't any trucks in the area available and that I would just have to wait until 2:30pm edt to get a truck. I then notified Sara that I had a scheduled pick up at 1:00pm edt that I could not miss otherwise it would cost my business thousands of dollars. I then took it upon myself to find Parlor City Oil Shop at 1309 S Main St Bluffton, IN 46714 who had a 16' truck available. I then contacted Sara by text, because she stated she "was too busy to take any phone calls", to call them and confirm that the truck was indeed available for rental. Sara contacted Parlor City Oil Shop but then made the MISTAKE of making the pickup time for 1:00pm edt which was IMPOSSIBLE for me to make due to the fact that I needed to be AT my appointment by that SAME time. I then, AGAIN, took it upon myself to contact Parlor City Oil Shop and inform them of my situation and they were MORE than happy to assist me by getting me into a 16' truck. Thankfully I was able to just squeeze in all of the boxes that I needed to pick up from Ball State University into THAT smaller truck other than the 20" truck I had RESERVED 3 DAYS PRIOR. All in all Parlor City Oil Shop saved the day! It will be very hard for me to EVER rent another truck from U-Haul again.

Give customers the correct amount of furniture pads they ordered and clean the truck.

GAY WUhaul needs to commit to holding a reservation. I was very frustrated with my pickup location being changed to 2 different locations after I reserved at the location I wanted to pickup at. Very faulty system. Very frustrating when your on a 3 1/2 hour road trip and you get a call to pickup the auto transport at a different location when only 1 1/2 hours from pickup. 3 different pickup locations, very sad system, thanks for making my trip more frustrating.
Craig STook me over an our to obtain the truck...App was not working correctly. Also the dolly was not present in the truck. I did not pick up the dolly until 10 hours later. This led to us not being able to load the truck full....which then led to us having to make a 2nd trip. Which is fine... except for the fact I was charged another $126 Please considered refunding this, as this only happened because of the issues caused by Uhaul.
