I called Uhaul to resolve an issue because moving.com who Uhaul contracts with broke some furniture. Nobody at Uhaul or nobody@ moving.com wants to take ownership of the issue.

Terrible experience these people are scammers!! I don't know who paid the $2 200 but it wasn't me not sure who account it came from but I was not about to pay for something I did not accumulate I returned truck back on Jan 4th 2025 not sure who else had the truck after me but they are scammers. I will not be using uhual anymore after this incident.

Location closes at 2pm. Would help to have longer hours. I was late and almost missed pickup of auto trailer. BTW, superb auto trailer. Great highway stability, no whipping. 9 hour drive from Atlanta to Richmond. Impressive!

I'm renting a truck next week and originally was going to take it there, after this drop off I changed my drop off location for the truck. He was rude, not helpful at all. He did not even give me any kind of receipt. Thank God all locations are not like this one.

The truck had broken wood rails in the storage area that made it impossible to use support straps. The wind shield was dirty and needed to be cleaned. The door ajar sensor stayed on while using the truck and the cruise control only worked intermittently.

Overall it was a smooth pick up. Location is just a little strange. Not sure how to improve.

A comment for U-Haul: If you want people to do reviews, don't make it so difficult. You emailed me a link to a page asking me to enter the contract number, which I then had to go find, then emailed me another link to the actual survey.

Provide each customer a full tank of gas upon rental. If the tank isn't full on return, penalize the customer but make sure the customer is aware of the charges prior to drive out. Other than that, it was a wonderful experience.

I ran into issues getting my car off the trailer, and since it was after hours I did not expect any help. What I also did not expect was the owner of the location to come tell me what a poor parking job I had done as I was elbow deep in my car. While I was given a lot of advice on how I could have parked better or where it could have gone, I was given no help whatsoever on the more pressing issue of my car. Once he had satisfied himself he did finally leave me to my devices, and go home, and I did get my car off the trailer fine. Suffice it to say that no, I would not recommend this location to anyone for gas, much less trucks.

This location is at a gas station and the clerk on duty knew nothing about Uhaul. He was too busy smoking his cigarette to help me disconnect the trailer. He flagged down one of his gas station customers to help me. Didn't even give me a receipt for my return so I had him write one up on blank piece of paper and tool a picture of him with trailer and hand written receipt. It was very sketchy and certainly not the service I have come to expect from a Uhaul dealer.

I realize that things go wrong with vehicles, and the mobile mechanic was quick to show up. I am, however, dissatisfied that I lost time with the truck moving. My storage unit was closed by the time repairs were done, and I was not able to move anything that day. Also, With test drives and the extra drive with no contents in the truck, I was 20 miles over my estimated mileage, and I had to pay for that, which I think was not fair. I lost time with the truck while it was being repaired and paid extra for mileage, I feel have not been compensated for these issues that were a detriment to my experience and to my move.

Worst drop off ever - clerk had me unload pads and hand truck and stack them for him in a small cramped space - wrote everything down on a piece of paper and didn't even check mileage or condition of truck - no receipt offered - said o would find out later - had to wait 24 hours to get receipt from U-Haul that everything was ok - worst experience ever and we have been using u-haul for years !!! Also the Sunoco station I dropped at is too small to really handle the 26 ft truck and is poorly maintained !!

The vehicle had major breaking issues that smoke came out everytime I break and it was shaking constantly while driving. The truck was so beat up and uncomfortable.

Really nothing, everything went like clockwork. The only issue we discovered was that one of the hooks on the ramp was broken, so we had to stack wood on the bumper to keep that side up. Even though it created a sketchy situation, I don't think the "location" would ever know this unless a customer brought it to their attention.

Small gas station that sold questionable water bongs and pipes that are proudly displayed in the window. Attendant was nice and helpful even with issues at drop-off location but the gas station was sketchy.

When I picked up the truck, the gas tank was empty. I pulled into their gas station and filled up the truck with gas. I returned the truck with more gas than I received it with but they still charged me $100. They also told me once I returned the truck that if I didn't lock the doors in the truck I'm responsible for anything that might happen to it throughout the night. Terrible service. They stole money from me. 1 000 % would not recommend and im actually doing a charge back on my credit card

I checked in online on my phone around 10pm and a random gas station employee came out smelling like cigarettes and ask me to give him the keys when the app said drop it in the key box. He argued with me a little then let me drop it in the return box

You have to watch this location. The agent here charge my a cancelation fee after I was late picking up and he agreed to reiniate the contract and I accepted and signed. He charged the fee after I had the rental agreement. Deceptive. Charge has not been re-deposited into my account. Regional was notified 24 hours ago about his issue and still have not heard back from manger regarding this non authorized charge. Called regional manager and left VM. Not the best service from Uhaul Choose a different location to pick up and drop off your truck.

Tried to do mobile pick up but it wouldn't work, forced to go inside. The guy behind the counter in this little gas station knew nothing, had to call another guy and gave me his cell to talk through it all. He took down my info with pen and paper on a napkin…When I got back to same location I had to back up truck to difficult spot and take in the blankets and dolly into the store myself. Any other Uhaul place would just say leave it in the truck but he made me bring it back inside. Whole process took forever and low tech. Any other spot, you just whip out your phone and are gone in 5 min. This place took over 20 min each time. Never go here.

This location is a small gas station/convenience store, with virtually no place to park a big truck, let alone one pulling a trailer. The man behind the counter was unfriendly and his english was difficult to understand. He told me there was no room and to go somewhere else. I didn't understand everything he said but it was pretty clear that he considered me a nuisance, like the fly on his hotdog. Although he had a U-haul sign and a few trailers, I'm pretty sure he has no interest in being a U-haul dealer.

They charged me double for dropping off a couple hours later than expected. I've used uhaul for every move, and I've never been charged for dropping off late. They've always said you have it for the day. When did you start strictly enforcing the drop off time? And why not just a late fee??? Double the charges? It's not like you would rent it out again that late in the day anyway. Absolutely ridiculous.
