It's not the locations fault, but I was overcharged by U-Haul and they refunded only a small portion. It is not thiele & sons fault but U-Haul kind of screwed me.

The guy at Thorpe and Sons Automotive was very nice and helpful. He hooked the trailer up to my van which was nice, and did all safety checks. I had thought that everything was good to go. I started driving down the road and I noticed that the trailer was jumping and moving around violently. I pulled over to see what was wrong. The trailer came unhitched from my van and was only held in place by 1 chain and the light cable. I put the trailer back on my van and reconnected the chain and checked the other chain and I had to change how that was hooked to my van. But the trailer hitch wouldn't lock onto my receiver and I didn't know how to lock it down. Thankful a guy stopped and offered help and he looked at why it wasn't locking. He had a hard time figuring it out at first but then he twisted a knob and that tightened and locked the trailer to my van. I had not seen that type of hitch lock before, I only knew the lever type. Be sure to check that EVERYTHING is connected correctly before leaving when picking up a trailer and ask questions if anything seems different or unfamiliar about the equipment you are using. The guy who I rented the trailer from made sure that I was familiar with everything but that and that mistake could've caused a major problem instead of a minor inconvenience. Once that problem was resolved the trailer was the exact size I needed the cost was reasonable and it was easy to tow and move when empty by a physically disabled person who has limited walking capacity. 4x8 covered trailer really helped with my last minute move and I recommend using the U-Haul trailers but just be sure that everything is safety connected before leaving the rental site.

LEE LThe online ordering was brutal. My pick up location was changed at least three times and the number of days the trailer was needed changed twice. Thankfully Aaron Thiele had his shit together and figured it out

Paul FFor corporate: The 24/7 pick up experience is not user friendly at all. The instructions do not match what is available on the website. The website also timed out on me at least 4 times while I was trying to proceed and I had to start over each time. I also asked other people that have used the same service and they had the same feedback. The mobile experience needs improvement. I would not use it again.

Thomas HI used the my mobile device to receive access to the truck. Both the customer service rep and the online video made the pick up process seem like it was fast and easy. It took about 40 minutes to complete the process. Over all the experience was good - it just took much longer than we had expected.
carie oWe ended up at this location because the original UHaul place we worked with messed up our reservation. The original location was the St. Cloud, Mn location. They messed up the reservation and then has to find us a truck at the Sauk Rapids location. This worked out way better as the person we worked with was very friendly and very accommodating.

Todd GWe never ended us getting our deposit back. It seemed like there was little to no communication between the uhauls that we wen through. They told us to watch the mail for our deposit to be returned and have yet to receive anything.... again super disappointed but at this point, with it being our first time using uhaul both in Duluth and sauk rapids, lets just say I wasn't surprised....

TODD ADrop off location was unstaffed at time of drop off Sunday evening, which was fine; only indication that it was a U haul location was one other U haul trailer on the lot. The location served our purpose fine for a simple drop off, but was nothing like our pickup location.
