Dear U-Haul Customer Service, I am writing regarding a recent rental experience that was less than satisfactory and to request appropriate compensation as was discussed at pickup. When we arrived to collect the vehicle, we were informed by the clerk that we would receive a mileage credit due to the inconvenience of having to pick up the vehicle at a different location than originally planned, which required us to drive a longer distance. However, we have not yet seen this credit reflected and would like confirmation that this will be issued. Additionally, we were disappointed to find the vehicle had less than 1/8 tank of fuel upon pickup. This forced us to stop and fill the tank before even beginning our move, which was both inconvenient and unexpected. We returned the truck with significantly more fuel than we received it with, and should be reimbursed for the extra fuel we had to purchase. We would appreciate a timely resolution and appropriate compensation for these issues. Please let us know what information you need from our end to process this request. People very helpful! My reservation confirmation sent me to the wrong location. It took some time to sort it out at initial location. They finally realized that they didn't have the trailer and sent me to this place. People at new location were SUPER busy and very helpful and pleasant

Ms. Marcella does a wonderful job helping every customer that comes into the building. Though working by herself she has obtained to get everybody on the road with the UHaul vehicle with the assistance of Ms. Amber. Ms. Amber works the outside Ms. Marcella works the inside. I would say both of them needs a raise because they care for each and every customer and that is a rear thing to find in customer service.

Staff should be more engaged with customers. Customers have to self serve and do all the work in the process of truck rental. This should be a preference not mandatory.

As long as Amber H works there you don't need to do anything. I enjoyed my experience there. Amber H her customer service is impeccable. She made my experience here a great one and I will definitely be back if and when I need to rent again.

It's not right that the clients now have to do the workers job by applying online and taking pictures our self. I almost got scam by charging me extra miles that was used by the another client who used the same truck I used and they also try to charge me 15 dollars in gas when I had put the same amount when I returned pure scamm

The truck had a horrible stench of marijuana and it gave me a horrible migraine. It's unacceptable that this van was allowed to be rented. In addition to this, the driver's seat was broken and would remain reclined back. Just a really bad experience.

I am handicapped and walk with a cane. Chris provided a step stool to assist me in getting into the truck, and the other nice young man in the office assisted me with the chair. They both were attentive & accommodating to my needs. I appreciated the assistance l.

This location has been very user friendly. The only suggestion would be to not rely so heavily on the U-Haul app system because it's clunky and inefficient at best which drags out the check in and check out. I would suggest updating the program and training the teams to deliver

Very impressed with the level of Outstanding Customer Service. It is annoying that you have to do mobile check in. they act like it's an option but then you have to do it, and why do they tell me the serial number rather than just the license plate? i don't know where to look for that. Just have normal check in and show me where it is rather than all this contactless stuff….

I had an awful experience with this U-Haul location, primarily due to Marcella and her staff. From the moment I arrived, things went downhill. First, the truck I had reserved wasn't ready when I needed it, and I was told to wait while it was cleaned. That alone was a huge inconvenience, especially since I was on a tight schedule. When I finally got the truck, there were no instructions given on how to use it. I had to ask multiple times for assistance, and each time I was made to feel like a nuisance rather than a customer needing help. Marcella in particular was unhelpful and unprofessional. The site falsely advertised parking on-site, then I was forced to drive around for parking in the neighborhood when I tried to leave. She made me return the truck immediately and even threatened to rekey it and charge me extra when I explained I'd be back in an hour. There was zero accountability for the confusion or the additional miles I had to put on the truck due to her demands. To top it all off, the truck smelled strongly of smoke, and I was told all the staff smoked. This made the entire experience even more unpleasant. Between the lack of preparation, poor customer service, and the awful condition of the truck, I will not be returning to this location. I would highly recommend avoiding it if you can.

The front desk customer service representative( Marcella)was totally AWESOME! At the Bladensburg NE location. It was cold and shevl was the working solo. She should be recognized for friendly service with customers who are nit computer savy. Not only is she taking care of her job and walking customers step by step on using cell phones. She is patient. It was a lot to do for the first time. I hope the company doesn't take Ms. Marcella for granted.

My entire experience was wonderful. Everything worked perfectly from the time I picked up the truck until the time I loaded my possessions in the storage facility. Marcellla Jones was extremely helpful in ensuring that I got the right equipment for my move. Amber Hicks was extremely graceful and respectful in ensuring that my possessions were stored properly. This was a hectic day and it could have been very stressful but because of the professionalism, kindness and can do attitude of the entire staff the day ended peaceful and joyful!

I was working with an employee who had not yet done a storage unit rental so we needed the manager's assistance, there were some technical difficulties uploading my ID , but I had the time to spare and patience for us to work through the process. I thoroughly enjoyed the managers and employees personalities and had an excellent experience!

The proffesionalism and kindness of the staff varied based on their mood. Getting started was a nightmare yet pressed for time I stayed there. The storage units there are the back halves of older 10ft trucks placed side by side. Being kept outside I should have been able to have 24 access. I am sure the manager tried her best but this location was the location for extra trucks. There is no customer parking available yet they managed to fill every inch with a truck. First few times I had to request to have a truck removed from infront of my storage unit. After that, they avoided parking one infront of my unit. I made it a point to have everyting out within my 30 days. I refused to pay close to $200 a month with the service and inconvenience I was put thru. My leaving seemed to have made everyone happy including myself. Again, I am sure the manager did her best. The individual that opened my account was the worst. She showed no signs of wanting to help me. But had no issues helping others that came in after me. I wanted to F******** scream. The guys at this location seemed much more accomidating, friendlier, and very helpful I wish I had gotten names. Not that it matters I hope to never have to go back there again.

Scheduling with this facility was very difficult. It's amazing how hard it was just to schedule a time for my u-box to be returned to me. I will not be recommending U-Haul to friends or family.

What should be simple logistical planning was very difficult. First, I wasn't being charged for a 2nd UBox - it required many calls and a few months to get that fixed. Moving out was also a disaster.
