Truck was not in very good operational condition. Reps at this location were semi rude. Could be they are understaffed. And the drop box was extremely hard to locate.

When we arrived there about 10 minutes later thrre was no dollie available so we had to rent a car hauler trailer which was more expensive. Mileage to destination via their computer system was not accurate. Compared to GPS. 110 miles difference and was told they had to use amount in their computer costing us $90 more than it should have at 89 cents a mile.

Regina SLet customer know they are not receiving mileage according to pickup to destination. Return location was not considered. Had to find on my own nearest location to return, otherwise even more mileage would have been charged. Consider the customer because we are your source of revenue.

I did not move any furniture I used it to pick up appliances. The bugs were coming out of the dash! I have never seen anything like it! The vehicle was terrible the suspension is terrible…the engine was heating up. I don't appreciate it at all! I wish would have never rented from there. Nobody wants to do the job but they want to get paid. If I develop a pest issue at my home I will be sending the exterminator bill to U-HAUL! This is ridiculous! Please have someone reach out. I can't type all the issues in. I'm making it crystal clear that if I see anything crawling in my home U-HAUL will have to pay the exterminator. (713)315-0754

I'm glad I went down there before I lost all of my belongings thinking this Unit was My unit. The staff gotta do better with the paperwork. UMAYMA AThe van wasn't ready next the pick up spot, I had to work to lot A to get the van. They use golf carts to drive around but didn't offer me a ride. The bathroom had no tissue and it was dirty. When I returned the van, I had to wait fifteen minutes before receiving a copy of my receipt although there were no other customers in front of me. I normally use the U-Haul location on Thurman Rd which the service is always great.

This was some distance from my original location and quite an inconvenience. Better communication and addressing the inconvenience of such a situation to the customer would have been appreciated.

The driver's side door was damaged and was difficult to close which caused significant road noise while driving. Due to the driver door problem there was a significant amount of water inside the cab at pick up from rain last night. The hood of the truck wasn't secured before I left the parking lot. I discovered this when I made it into the highway and the hood started moving. The truck was also at a quarter tank of gas at pick up. Because I didn't know how much fuel I needed I was stuck paying for extra gas that I didn't need instead of just being able to fill the tank up on return. This was the worst rental experience I've ever had. Almost everything that could have gone wrong did.

SHIKETA O | Expérience généraleI have used equipment from this facility before and there was no issue. This time the only issue I can point out is the vehicle itself. I am a mechanic of 23 yrs. I can tell by the way the truck drove that it needs some maintenance. There is an unusual intermittent vibration ( easier to feel it when the truck is sitting still and idling) as if the engine is misfiring. And because of this, it is causing the transmission to have a bit of a rough shift in between gears. I strongly suggest you have your maintenance personel take a look at it. If you test drive the truck in the parking lot you may not be able to replicate this feedback. I recommend you take it on the highway and actually get the truck up to operating speed so you can feel the hesitation of acceleration . The license plate is AH84113

The truck was rented on empty, requiring the renter to fill the tank to a quarter tank on return for a bare minimum credit is unexceptionable. I am not and have no desire to be employed by uhaul this boils down to requiring free labor from the renter. Additionally requiring the theft of your biometrics to rent a truck is egregious and should not be taken lightly by anyone. Taking a picture to educate AI on facial recognition to rent a truck is unreasonable. I would choose to avoid uhaul at all cost.
NATHAN HRent trucks with less than 208 000 miles and without damages. Recommend this location because of friendly service, moving supplies like hand trucks and boxes.

There's a Green lock on the unit. We can't access the unit. We have to keep everything in the Uhaul over night. We go back Monday morning @7:30. They take the lock off it's a small unit. It's not what we asked for. We had to wait & get another unit. We unload what we put into storage & left the rest on the truck for our new place. I Pooh notice something leaking from the Uhaul. They come inspect its transmission fluid. We have to get another uhaul . So we had to move everything out that 1 Uhaul into another Uhaul. MY WHOLE SUNDAY & MONDAY WAS RUINED… I have never ran into these issues with Uhaul. Then we still had to pay $44.. We will not be renting from this location again. Everyone be on the phone instead of helping customers. If you rent the unit take the lock off. I had to take off work Monday to finish moving. BAD INCONVENIENCE RO US… HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

On September 26th, 2023, around 7:30am, my daughter and I visited this U-haul location. Jordan assisted us with the reservation, she showed us an inside unit that she could combine to.give us 2 units side by side on the ground level. We were pleased with her suggestion and made the reservation. We contacted Jordan by phone on the 27th to confirm the ground level units to prevent extra fees if the movers had to move our household items to the second floor,and she assured us a second time that both units were together on the ground level. On the 29th when the movers and I arrived around 10am at U-haul to unload the truck,I went inside to the office where Jordan and another co-worker was. I asked Jordan for the unit numbers so the movers could start to unload the truck. Jordan turned around in her chair and looked on the computer,she stated "someone had split the units and it just happened this morning", I asked Jordan to just give me a storage unit number so the movers could start unloading, and that I did not have the money to pay if I went over their allowed time. Jordan stated that she will call the individual to see if she could move her into a different unit, the female stated that she was done moving. I consistenly asked Jordan to just give me a unit number so the movers could start unloading the truck.Jordan disregarded me and began dialing numbers and speaking to different individuals as I stood there irritated by how she was dismissing my concerns,the movers were sitting outside in a hot truck calling me to ask how long before they can unload the truck. A total of 25 minutes had passed before the movers were allowed to unload the household items into the units.The other co-worker offered to assist me by walking me to a storage unit while Jordan contact her General Manager for permission to combine 2 units together. We were given an extra unit to equal the 2 units. My daughter and I is requesting U-haul to pay $100 dollars for the time the movers and I had to wait for Jordan to rectify the matter that caused us to be charged for overtime.

A I a hour later I it's locked out and she gone now of course ! No calls from Uhale or Jordan about any problems . Jordan should have came and look at the system to see why the code was working properly. I was on my way back to Texas thank goodness I stop back by the storage before leaving out. They were not willing to work with me after sharing a financial hardship resulting from a family health emergency. Instead they charged me late fees 1-2 days after being late , refused to waive them and gave me the run around when trying to send someone to retrieve my things while I'm out of state. It was difficult to get in touch with a representative UNLESS I was late on a payment (they would magically be available). All of this has left a poor lasting impression and I pray I will never need to use this facility again.

Not ONE time did I experience seeing any pest, and no pest never accessed the inside of my outside storage.Pest control is so important, even when I was at my storage unit which sat outside, and it was 8pm 9pm I never experienced a pest problem. The help For Hire is just a gateway to stealing, poor work, extortion for extra money. Both referrals get an absolute middle finger. "Moving made easy and the Big Move moving and cleaning. The first company Loaded my 5 to 7 hours after 4 of their reps said they could do it in 2 to four hours and several items. And they left all the big furniture unpacked. I had to unpack the truck and instruct them to repack one third of a 26 foot truck .This cost me close to $900 dollars for complete incompetence. * The boys worked hard and were polite and respectful. The BIG MOVE ( unloading to a storage unit) they just left without explanation, phone call or a call back. They showed up smelling like pot, and i believe they stole something (my furs). The company, Helpe for Hire reimbursed me in (3 to 4 days)...hopefully!

Upon moving out 1 week after moving and discarding 4 garbage bags 5 personnel came out looking and not 1 said a word until we PAID to discard a mattress. The entire situation could have been handled more discreetly without 5 customers inside sales office knowing what was happening. Very unpleasant the manager did eventually handle the situation after she finished smoking on a golf cart parked behind the hitch and tow units clearly not the smoking area. I will not use this location again in the future.

We were there for 8 hours or so .! I believe if an attendant would have hbeen overseeing or walking around more . They would have seen and stopped this guy or used some sir freshener or fan. I know there are cameras wmaybe the guy could have been stopped from putting that trash in the trash bin.

Someone got into my unit but did not break the lock I was truly under the assumption that there would be footage to show what had transpired. Unfortunately, no footage was available and in less than one day they had the audacity to inform me that there will be no payout from my insurance because my lock was not broken. Your policy to not have a second lock on the unit is asinine!!!! As long as I had a second lock on the unit there was no break in. The minute I took it off, a break in occurred. I would never recommend this place to anyone! But what I will do is blog about this, so that everyone else is definitely aware of the lack of cameras in this facility.

I got there after 5 to store my stuff at that point the office was closed. The Main sliding door to the units was locked big inconvenience. I called the manager for after hours no response. Even though I called him for another situation that I figured out on my own. Then it was the main sliding door that would of made my experience so much better because it would have been easier dealing with the type of items I had to store. So i'm not sure if I misread that the door will be locked after office hours but that's not helpful or convenient for it to be and using the regular door took a lot more time.

It was like you bothered the ladies in the front to ask a question and only one had a decent attitude. There is a young girl whose attitude is disgusting. So, I told the young lady I had furniture that was ruined and she says you already closed out. Wow! I paid for insurance and this is what I get. I paid in a timely manner. I even have another storage under my daughter's name and anxious to get my stuff. I pray never to use the service nor recommend. I booked a 26' truck and they literally gave it to customers in front of me. Who didn't have reservations and quickly put me at another location 20 miles away on the day of my love causing me $175 to movers and another labor day. My experience unfortunately was not good and now new furniture ruined. There is another lost of $2500. Gas prices are high and I have been on the road to/from Savannah and Duluth to come to this location. Oh, one time entering there was glass right near my storage and I didn't realize until too late, and I got a flat tire ($145) leaving the place in the evening. Someone should be responsible to check and clean the grounds, as well as the gates prior to us going back there in the morning and afternoons. No lights. The place can't run itself and they have scooters. I know labor is short but this is a great area in Stockbridge and why I chose the location but U-Haul gives it a different name and I will say service stops at Christian Brothers, before getting to your end. Please get better help and qualified people with adequate training not just making stuff up. I was told some real BS and young girl that checked me and my daughter in was charging fees where we spent 2,5 hours going over and over numbers... Waste of time. She was so darn clueless and the to deal with more shenanigans on Saturday and Sunday. Embarrassing to me, wasted my time, rude and ugly attitudes, not helpful, and lacked empathy to apologize.

Parking is convenient and spaces are always available. The facility randomly alarm triggered a few times after I was already inside; I didn't report it to staff. On just one occasion, the elevator doors wouldn't close. I tested the stair doors but they were locked. This could prevent an emergency exit from the higher floors. I did report it to staff but never tested the stair doors after reporting the finding.

My only issue is that we ending up having roaches in our unit after about a month which was definitely not ideal before moving yo a new home. I was able to spray, lay traps and do weekly maintenance. After having moved all items out I went inside to close out the account. There was a gentleman in line ahead of me. He was talking on his Bluetooth phone the entire time, and even after he reached the, he continued to talk on his Bluetooth even though the customer service person was trying to help him. I had driven 14hrs to Georgia to retrieve my household goods and had loaded my uhaul and preparing to make that long drive back to Texas. And I was a bit taken a back of the rudeness of this customer and the lack of assertiveness of the representative. He didn't ask the customer to end his call or ask him to move aside to the sitting area to finish his call. I was very disappointed and I have worked with uhaul since 2016 and never once had this experience. Please do not allow customers to talk on their phones in the customer service line.

They basically said oh well after the Uhaul call center called them. They even had the nerve to tell me to go to another storage company after I paid just about $1000 for a one way rental. Then the unit was so small my 55 inch TV cracked and they basically said oh well and to file a claim. Insane after driving about 800 miles. Not to mention they changed my pick up facility and gave me the wrong truck. SMH never again

So we had to sleep on the property in our car to keep an eye on the truck with not lock.

ELKE W | Premières impressionsNot all staff is unfriendly but more not than are. The elevator recently has become a huge issue. Had to reset it 5 time one day while was trying to move stuff out. And we were not holding the doors open or doing anything strange with the elevator. 1 elevator for that entire facility seems like a issue. And just the wait time in the lobby for someone to help. Several little things just added up to a no recommendation. No ones on the same page with info. Such as a card not working. Was told oh thats fine don't worry about it it's not a problem just go in. You won't be fined for the alarm. Next time I came in asked someone else. And they fixed the card. So the other lady didn't want to deal with it. The security feature I liked. But now with everyone and their own rules makes me wonder if mine had been broken into would u have notified me and soon or how long before u would have noticed?

This caused me added expenses for fuel cost. In addition it was not safe to drive which I learned afterwards.

Furniture but after I rented I found out that the offer I made on a house went through and no longer needed my rental and when I called I was not only given the chance to turn in my space but all my money was refunded. Excellent customer service and if I need a rental again I will definitely use Uhaul rental again.

The staff was not forthcoming with information and it took a long time and my questions on the delay for them to tell me what was going on. I was very upset because my movers were at the bay waiting to unload . The staff members tried to send me to other locations instead of trying to resolve the issue that was created by uhaul. I had to insist that they give me 2 units, which also took another 30 minutes to resolve. My experience was horrible and I had to pay the movers for 2 extra hours because of the delay by uhaul.

I arrived in the 6 o'clock pm hour...,after a long tiresome day, to unload my belongings only to find out that the automatic loading/unloading doors were locked. I attempted to reach the after hours person, Dan, with no success. This made my move-in very challenging & in convenient.

Wouldn't allow us to use the entrance closest to it so we had to walk a mile everytime we took a load and unloaded.

latonia d | Premières impressionsI made my reservation online and when I got there to check in it took 15 minutes for them to tell me that the space I reserved was not available. They recommend I go to another location after about 30 minutes. My movers were waiting and I didn't think I should have to be the one to suffer when the screw up was U-Haul's. I asked for a smaller second unit close to each other and it took them forever to figure it out while I sat and wait with no form of communication to update me on the lengthy process. It was a terrible experience which cost me to pay my moving company extra for the delay. This was my first time using this company and I promise it will be the last. I will also give a bad review to whoever I speak with. The customer service was TERRIBLE!!!

DERRICK R | Premières impressionsAfter completing the rental of the storage unit, I was asked if I was going to utilize the unit the same day I rented, 24 JAN, I told her Yes. Around 840p, I drove my u-haul to the storage to unload, to find that the lock was still on the unit I reserved after hours. I added an unnecessary 20 miles to my total mileage, lost time loading and unloading more of my belongings, more gas because of the wasted trip, all while adding the mileage. I don't know how much I've added to this cost just because my unit wasn't unlocked.
