The general manager is amazing. I actually rented twice in the same week and she was there both times. Service was impeccable, trucks were clean, helpful staff. i luckily got there when there was no wait. I'll definitely use this location again. Thanks you guys! (They deserve a raise)
ASHLEY PWe are a non-profit. I submitted our Tax ID Sales Tax Exemption to this location, after I had reserved the vehicles. I was told they could not remove the sales tax unless the form was presented at the time of the reservation. I don't see what difference it should make. The final bill had not been processed.

NATHANIEL BThe truck broke downnwithin 6 hours. I picked it up and went home to prepare for move next day and upon leaving truck broke down and refused to go over 30 mph. Upon taking truck back to lacation they were beliigerent and refused to provide a replacement and threatened to call police. They said i had to wait overvtwo hours for a manager to approve replavement truck thet refused to refund monet for two day renralbor anything. Plus they saud i used way more miles than actually used.

DOUGLAS LEvery staff member that we encountered at the Kingshighway location was kind, courteous, and helpful. The pick up and drop off processes were very easy. The vehicle was clean and had no issues. However, it was clear that the location is a fairly busy one and needs more staff. When we first went into the lobby, there were no staff to be found, and we had to wait a few minutes before finding someone. The gentleman who helped us was very nice and efficient, but he definitely could have used at least one other set of hands.

KAREN LThe boxes were a convenient and environmentally friendly option but they were not cleaned at all. Most boxes had visible debris (crumbs, bird seed, etc) that could have easily been washed out just by hosing down the boxes

reginald sThe meter clearly was at 1/4 when I got the truck. I put money in the tank to return it at 1/4. They charged me 30 dollars for gas saying the tank had more gas in there before when the image clearly shows before and after are the same??? A whole joke
Chandler DWhen I got the truck it only had 15 miles to empty. Very inconvenient for the start of a looooong day to have to go get gas and then fill again at the end. Also made me nervous hanging out in the parking lot at night taking photos of the truck etc. Not really sure how else you could do it. Great customer service though.
COLLEEN MI had rented a pair of dollies in my booking. These dollies were not available to me when I picked up the truck which made the move harder than it needed to be. Also, the truck supposedly had a quarter tank of gas. When I turned the truck on, it had significantly less than that. I ended up having to gas up the truck in the middle of what was supposed to be a simple cross-town move which was a bit annoying.

Only thing is, I reserved a dolly, and I had made this reservation for a U-Haul and dolly multiple weeks in advance, as I was moving and needed it to move the washer and dryer but when I got there they were out of dolly's. So that made moving harder for me.

Penni GI had it for six hours. The battery went dead after two hours of the door open with the cargo light on. I was stranded for two hours of my rental. Make sure this doesn't strand a family please.

JASON WWhen I first spoke with someone at this location it was an assistant manager Kylie, spelling probably wrong, she was AMAZING in helping me book my reservation but when 8 called back less than 5 minutes after she was bale to get my questions answered quickly and completely, so THANK YOU VERY MUCH MADAME, I arrived this morning to pick up my rental and was helped by the store manager, Jerome I think, and he was just as AMAZING AND HELPFUL as Kylie. Based off my experience with this location I give them 10 STARS and 2 HUGE THUMBS UP!!!!! A VERY HAPPY & SATISFIED CUSTOMER

Additionally, I received 1 lock instead of 2. To further add to my disappointment and lack of professionalism by U-Haul, the unit I was given was in the basement. Upon the General Manager's recommendation I had to spend $30 more than expected. The issue is, I could have reserved a facility that was nicer, more room and cost less than what I paid. I am extreme dissatisfied that I had to pay $115 for this ridiculous and extremely dirty facility. On a scale from 1-10, it's a solid 1. In addition, I miss my flight yesterday due to the manager telling me that instead of getting the storage on Tuesday as reserved, he recommended, it would be better to get it Wednesday which gave me very little time to turnaround everything. Consequently, I would have known on Wednesday it was not what I wanted and go elsewhere.

I missed and had to cancel everything cause your employees couldn't come to agreement how to handle my situation. According to the moving company you all recommended, I was given the wrong size truck. It turned out to be a total disaster for me. Then after all that !!! They informed me I can't get any of my money back ($200) for 3-5 business days. So I'm very upset. I'm a senior citizen, and I have a health condition that doesn't allow me to go through this without causing a flare up.

On the 11th I received a call from an employee asking if I moved out. I said yes and that I told them I was 5 days earlier. She said the manager told her to refund the month, however I hadn't been charged. She said ok and thanked me. The next morning I woke to a charge of $99,95 on my debit card. I called the location and the manager said that he remembered me and agreed that he was refunding the rent. After over 40 minutes on the call, the manager advised that he was refunding the rent but he was having software issues and would call me back in 10 minutes. It's been if over 48 hours and no call back and no refund. I've called the last two days and can't get anyone to answer.

This was after I had been assured that I could use my own lock, the exact one I used. They offered to give me a free lock… and never did. Multiple times, my key card would not let me into the building during the posted access hours and I was told to just try again later. I lost my job at one point, requested access to my unit so that I could remove an item that I desperately needed at the time, and they refused to let me in. I have now been stripped of the vast majority of all my possessions. All my son's baby memorabilia, family heirlooms, my furniture, all of the audio engineering equipment I had purchased over several decades. I pretty much hate this company with every beat of my heart. What a predatory scam. It feels like UHaul gleefully ripped my soul out of my body and is now asking whether I enjoyed it.

They changed managers in the middle of our stay and it didn't lose any of the excellence. It does not get better....I don't know about anyone else, but U-Haul did me and my family right. When I changed cards, apparently the system didn't take the autopay I came in to set up and I was notified for nearly a year, which is terrible, but Rhonda was awesome and worked with me to get it figured out. So overall a very mixed bag.

I purchased insurance on this unit, but even if I should receive the full insurance payment, it won't be enough to replace all the stolen appliances. Additionally, of the boxes that remained, several were water-damaged, in spite of the fact that this facility was meant to be temperature and humidity controlled.

I was forced to buy two units because the elevators are super small and my unit was on the 6 floor I could not fit couches and a few other items on the elevator witch made me have to rent a second unit just for the items in the basement so now I'm paying 134 per month for one unit on the 6 floor and 80 for another on the basement just because the elevator was to small

However, the building is a little outdated, and the elevators are very small. The staff here tried their best to find a new solution for us, but ultimately the moving crew that I hired had to carry my 2-piece sectional up 6 flights of stairs, which caused my moving cost to be much more expensive than I had planned (and hard labor for the movers). ** If you have large pieces to store I would suggest a facility with a freight elevator. ** Aside from the elevator size, I would recommend this facility, overall a clean and secure center.

Or perhaps someone left a dirty diaper in there for a week or so before it was found? Heck, maybe it's still there, hidden? You know when you curl your lip up to cover your nostrils like Mr. Ed, the talking horse? It's guaranteed to make you do that.
