The moving company "six brothers" out of Wichita, KS was the most unprofessional company I have ever had before. They were in my house 2 minutes and began openly complaining how the job was too much then they just left on the spot without saying anything . I will never use this company again and will let people know moving forward to never use the company.

Caleb FRayshawn was tremendous. He is the Asst Manager at the facility. He helped me over the phone to arrange after hours access. In person he expedited the return of my trailer, helped me get extra supplies, worked on the lights when they weren't working in my corridor. At the counter he serves more than one customer at a time, letting customers with straightforward requests be helped quickly while also solving a complex problem for another customer. When I wanted to switch to a larger storage unit he arranged that and completed all the paperwork quickly and efficiently. He does the work of two employees, regularly coming out of the office to work in the yard or the storage facility all while darting back into the office to man the desk when needed. Please give him a raise! He made my experience at the Canterbury location outstanding.

CRYSTAL WWhen we walked into the store, at 9:30, no one was at the desk. We were looking in doors calling out hello and no one came until my nephew went into the garage, one girl came out and took care of us, and a guy came out a few minutes later and sat on some boxes behind us. The smell of marijuana was strong. The first truck they gave us had no gas (on EMPTY), so my nephew brought it back. They gave us another with 1/2 tank of gas, power steering was shot, brakes were not tight, and the transmission was slipping. it was scary to be in this vehicle when I drove it back to the store at the end of the day. I will not use this store again.

I went in to pick up the van, and when I went, no one seemed to know what I was talking about. Then I picked up the van and had to hurry to leave because the delay of them trying to understand I had a reservation prolonged me picking up the van. I get in the van and leave out and while I am driving, the care ding. I look down to see the car is on EMPTY, like 7 miles away from E. I could not believe they gave me a van without ANY GAS. Then they ask me to fill it up and they will give me a $30 credit. I thought this was ridiculous. 1 it would have taken more than $30 to fill up the van, 2. They should have told me before I got into the van that it was on E, and 3. Why would you rent a van out to ANY, with it being 7 miles away from E, and not tell them about it? Very unprofessional and all it took was a little communication.

CHANTINIA RCustomer service at front desk was dry. The truck I had brakes went out while using truck. Truck started making loud noises from the rotors, I had to use emergency brake to stop truck and get it back safely to Uhual. I informed same guy at desk, he said nothing and just looked at me. Didn't say sorry for anything. A lot could have happened. SMH! This is my first and last time using this location. I usually rent from Calumet City location and the customer service is very top notch.

I had negative responses that were much worse at other storage sites. Fortunately, the owner was present for my final visit here. I had paid a full extra month. I had been told I would get at least half of the next month's extra payment back. I was refunded the full extra month's payment. The owner took charge of the review of payments and awarded me the full month overpayment. I felt as though I was treated fairly. Perhaps she was a new employee who erred.

The wait time for service was often very long in the office and the man at the desk made many errors at check-in that caused him to restart my transaction multiple times before finalizing. Staff were short with their answers and would walk away when trying to ask them questions or get clarification. Lastly, I was not able to reach anyone via phone at the office and was routed to the main uhaul number every single time causing me to have to find time to come in before they close at 7 PM which I never had time to do to ask simple questions that were never answered. At check-in, I asked for 24/7 Access and was told the computer wasn't working properly and that I would be able to add that later. I was never able to reach anyone by phone and when I did come down one day an associate told me she would add 24/7 Access to my unit, but didn't. Dealing with uhaul for my out of state move has been a very miserable experience from truck rental in CT, to storage in Illinois to truck rental in Illinois. Staff are rude and practices are not transparent leaving the customer feeling uneasy. I would never deal with uhaul again and I will ensure no one I know deals with you either. Further I will be leaving reviews on other platforms.
