I was told I had to have the gas at the same level as when I picked it up and you charge 4,5 per gallon plus 30 bucks if I don't but no one made sure to tell me I wouldn't be reimbursed for the extra gas I left. You got about 30 bucks of gas out of me because I put too much in and that is completely a rip off so thx for that. You should be ashamed.

CHRISTOPHER DI had a frustrating experience trying to pick up a reserved round trip 5 x 8 trailer at the Salem, MA U-Haul location to pick up a piece of furniture, where my reservation was given away. Thankfully, the Concord store completely turned things around. We drove up to concord, NH where the piece of furniture was located and the uhaul staff there were friendly, efficient, and fully staffed-something the Salem location lacked. A big thank you to Jessica, who was especially helpful in hooking up the trailer, walking me through the lights, and staying patient even when her computer froze. I really appreciated how the Concord team listened to the issues we faced and made sure we left feeling supported. Highly recommend the Concord location! We dropped off the trailer at the Salem, MA location and almost experienced the same frustration but luckily Jessica showed us how we could drop off our one way rental using the app.

FRANCIS AWe rented a 6' wide trailer to haul a spyder, that was the width we needed. We realized after driving almost an hour, the opening was 6' but had a panel on both sides of the trailer which meant the opening was 5' so did not allow us to load it. We had to drive a 2hr round trip to swap the trailer for one that did not have the panels and return the trailer after the 5pm deadline. This should have been pointed out by the people at the store......a waste of time and gas.

MITCHELL MEven though I had a reservation to pick up a truck at 10 I had to wait 20 minutes to get served and I lost some help for my project.
JEFFREY ZThe person I encountered when picking up was the of the most miserable, rude, disgruntled employee I've encountered. She is doing U-Haul a disservice. I've rented from U-Haul numerous times over the years and never have I had such an awful interaction with an employee. She was truly one unhappy miserable person who has no problem taking it out on customers.

I mean, all I had to do was load a box, forget it, then unload- or drive a truck through New York City. And I'm 77… the choice was clear. Keep up the great work!
gail sLet the customer know if the uhaul destination delivers or not.so they know the quote does not include delivery by a third party. I was very upset that I was lead to believe my container was shipping directly to my house, but actually wasn't and it gave me an additional cost on top of the quote. I filed a complaint with Uhaul and NEVER received any reply back. I most likely will not use Uhaul again.

ROBIN PThe manager (Natasha?) is an A+ manager/employee!!! I rent all the time from this location - I do theatre with youth, five shows every year, and we rent trucks to move sets/sound equipment/etc. - and I have seen her "in action" every time. She is kind to the new employees and professional with all customers, in person and on the phone. My most recent rental on April 5th went sideways due to a reservation mistake made by a new employee, and she took care of everything to make it right, quickly and efficiently. Thank you Natasha, and the other employees who were working that day as well!!!!!

Russell LThe representative I dealt with was excellent. Very knowledgeable about the products and recommended a different unit based on what I was moving. Had he not done that I would have not been able to pick up what I was with the trailer. He also had a great attitude.
NATHAN BThey reported incorrect fuel and charged me. Fortunately, I had pic taken at the time of pickup and drop off, helped and call center associate verified. It raised doubt every time we return the vehicle.
MOHAN NThe driver's door had a hard time staying shut. Also, the gear shift had a hard time going into park. At one point I thought it was in park and it actually was in reverse. I didn't notice till I got out and was able to hop right back in. Some damage to the property occurred.

chuck cI was disappointed that I was told I couldn't use the pickup truck I had reserved to tow a trailer. When I reserved the truck, I selected towing on the website and was given the option to rent a pickup. When I arrived and found the truck had no hitch in the receiver, I was told I'd have to rent a 10' box truck instead. While the box truck worked, the pickup would have been more efficient, more comfortable and more appropriate for my needs. In the past I have rented a pickup with a car hauler from the same location and the trailer with a car is a much heavier load than the one I towed with this rental. Merci.

MARK BThe guys there are great. Angel was completely positive and professional at getting me checked in and getting the truck. The guy who took the truck afterward was also. The truck itself was a big disappointment. The back was clean, the cabin typically worn, but the engine sounded like it had a loose serpentine belt and occasionally white smoke came out of the exhaust. Obviously it wasn't maintained at the shop because I noticed the problem right away. I didn't make an issue of it because I needed the truck fast. When I notified the guy who took the truck afterward, he was professional and gracious.

Jerome FA very good experience. They made sure to give me the rate that best fit my circumstances.
ERIC BI went and rented a truck that had a bad battery. After driving 2 miles I made a quick stop and the truck would not restart. I called for roadside assistance and it took one and a half hours for a technician to come fix the problem. Once he arrived, he did an excellent job replacing the battery and I was able to go the rest of the day with no problem.

ROBERT LRented a box truck with a foot of snow on bumper. Tried saying there was 1/4 tank of gas, was below that. Have rented here before, staff seems to have gone downhill. Obviously need better management.

Need to have consistent staff at the desk checking customers out and people outside hooking up trailers and such. Should not talke that long to pick up a truck.

There, there beyond stood the shining security of a new experience amidst the old, dry and tired. U-Haul Self-Storage, propane filling, moving blankets, locks and rentals for moving about the country was right there in front of me the whole time. It took dire thirst to be a smack in the head to wake up to such a wonderful solution. Merci.

That being said, Uhaul's (the corporation, not its employees!!) policy of first come, first served even with a reservation was shocking and honestly made for a horrifying moving-in experience. I came thinking I would have a drive up outside unit, and ended up having to tetris my belongings inside a 4x8 1st floor unit and a 2nd floor 6x7 unit. Again, the employees of this location are great. The corporate policy of Uhaul of 'first come, first serve' even with a reservation will ensure I never use this Uhaul services ever again. It is a really terrible policy, I hope that will be reversed. Thank you again to the great employees of this location.

When i got to your facility, there wasn't one available. I don't know what reservation system issue there is between the site & national, but that, for us, meant we had to find a 10 x 10 somewhere else, then move everything out of the tiny space you had avail... and only had inside access too. Aside from that, we were charged $20 late fee, because we weren't notified by phone or text that we were going to be past due... and ended up getting a US Mail letter, that was sent to our old address, forwarded to our new address... AFTER the $20 was already paid. I was told by national that they couldn't credit it, and that an email would be sent to the site manager. I still haven't heard from anyone about crediting that $20. I arrived yesterday to clean out the unit, after already having paid the month & late fee, and found a second lock on the unit, which I had to go inside & deal with. I'll be unlikely to use UHaul again for storage.
