I had completed the reservation through the website. Though I did select Mobile self check-in, I went to the front counter to get help checking in. She was very un-helpful and made it obvious she did not want to help with checking in, and insisted I use the app to check to receive a key outside the door in the lock boxes. There was NOBODY in the store, nobody else in line. I proceeded to download the app on my phone and this process was the most painful process ever. The address information preloaded into the app when I entered my reservation was the wrong address, the payment information was non-existent (i had to re-enter all the information that I already entered through the website when reserving). Taking a photo of my ID was painful as well. The app and/or my phone could not scan the back of the ID and I struggled with this for a while - ending up with uploading a photo instead, but this was rejected by the agent and I had to re-do this step struggling to scan the ID and re-uploading a new photo. In the end, the app said to pick up the key behind the counter, NOT OUTSIDE where the locks are. I still had to talk to the same lady that did not want to help me in the beginning. She could have saved me over 30 minutes of struggling with the app!

I moved out before my rent was due. Check the computer I used my code to get in. I accidentally locked it out of habit but told you guys when you called me I moved out of state. I moved out with a zero balance. I did not move out in June. I only had the storage a few months. Zero balance so stop trying to charge me when you called in Feb I told you I was out.

U-Haul Review - Disappointed by Poor Service and Unfair Extra Charge I recently rented an auto transport trailer from U-Haul for 24 hours-from 7:30 AM to 7:30 AM the next day. The plan was to use it to tow my car back home to Las Vegas. Unfortunately, unexpected road construction caused a delay of about 40-50 minutes on my return. I tried calling the number listed for help or to inform someone I'd be a little late, but no one answered. When I arrived at the designated return location, I waited in the car expecting someone to come assist, but no staff appeared. Eventually, I got out and looked around for help. A staff member-a white male wearing a hoodie-finally came out. He didn't ask any questions, didn't perform the usual light test, didn't explain any fees-just started unloading the trailer. After finishing, he came to my window and simply told me the receipt would be emailed to me. I later saw I was charged for an additional full day. I find this unacceptable. I did my best to return the equipment responsibly, even called ahead while still on the road, and the delays were made worse by the lack of staff and support on site. U-Haul's poor customer service and unresponsive team made a minor delay turn into a 24-hour overcharge. I would like to formally dispute this charge. This experience was frustrating and disappointing, and I hope U-Haul can make it right.

I was extremely happy with the people but I had a flatscreen TV and a box of old baseball cards stolen pulled over an interior wall made a police report and took pictures of open boxes and scratches on the ceiling where TV was no one ever came out to look at my unit with me I was ignored and told by insurance adjuster I'm out of luck and oh well. Not very professional and I was devastated over the loss I still have all paperwork from claim and receipts from TV baseball cards were given to me by my grandfather that whole issue was so unacceptable that I just gave away and trashed most of my possessions just to get out very very unhappy with Uhaul storage claim and insurance procedures and professionalism. Maybe an attendant can help open the unit the first day. The pad lock is in a package that needs a blade to open it with. My unit is on the second floor 300 feet from the stairs. Luckily I had a key to work with. Did I set off the alarm ?

Subject: Formal Complaint - Dangerous Equipment, Unprofessional Service, and Unsafe Pickup Conditions To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally report a serious issue regarding the trailer I recently rented from U-Haul. The experience was completely unacceptable-both in terms of equipment quality and the professionalism of the staff. 1. Severely Damaged Equipment: • The trailer was in dangerous condition, with shredded sheet metal, broken components, and extensive wear and tear both inside and out. • The weatherstripping was compromised, allowing water to leak into the trailer and destroy valuable materials during transit. • In its current condition, this trailer should be immediately decommissioned, as it is a road hazard and a liability to both customers and the general public. 2. Unprofessional Staff and Unsafe Pickup Area: • The individual handling the rental was unprofessional and unhelpful. • The yard was cluttered, disorganized, and not safely accessible with a trailer attached. • I was unable to maneuver properly due to obstructions, and traffic was blocked, creating unnecessary risk and frustration. I have videos and photos clearly documenting the trailer's condition and the unsafe environment at the pickup location. This situation reflects gross negligence in equipment maintenance and customer service. I request the following: • A formal investigation into this rental location and the trailer in question • Immediate removal of this trailer from the rental fleet • Compensation for the damaged materials and inconvenience caused • Written confirmation of action taken This experience has raised serious concerns about U-Haul's quality control and commitment to safety. I expect a timely and professional response.

I did not appreciate the enormous increase in pricing. I know of other storage companies that do NOT charge you more the longer you keep the unit. If I ever need storage again, it will NOT be UHaul.

Very happy with the services provided & staff is very friendly & helpful. Really appreciated the free month of storage with my truck rental as I really needed it! Thought I could fit everything in one run but couldn't so having the storage gave me that opportunity to be able not to stress out & come back when I had more time to get the rest of my stuff.

When I reserved the truck my total was $220, I would get a discount if I did a drop off at Ontario. But when I checked in the associate informed me my total was now $293. I'M VERY UPSET! I've used Uhual multiple times and have not had this issue. Associate kept saying g hr couldn't do anything. When I got my recipe I saw no discount for the Ontario drop off which is farther from where I live and could of saved money on gas if I dropped it off at a San Bernardino location.

The folks at this location are incredible!! I had to reschedule my trip twice before finally making it and your folks where very understanding and patient with me. When I finally made the trip to Ohio and back, the trailer worked flawlessly, in spite of the absolutely horrendous roads in Indiana. I never made it there. I was in a lot of pain. My feet were swollen for close to 3 days. I had a really bad medical emergency. I have been using U-Haul for a long time and I have never had gone through anything like that before. I am grateful for the help. I was evicted from my apartment because of workers compensation. I have a 20lbs weight limit on my right arm. So I can't move on my own and was looking for help to unload the truck but I couldn't find it. I would never steal a truck. I walked into this location to reserve a trailer a week before I needed the trailer and the rep at the counter was the most unprofessional jackass(a guy with tattoos) I have dealt with in a very long time, as he was telling me my Dodge ram2500 diesel was not capable of towing this trailer and I being a retired Master Tech from a automobile dealership. I walked out the door with a reservation and a bad feeling. I showed of an hour early of my pickup time and then left without a trailer and to return two hours later and the customer before me that they rented to did not return the trailer at that time, so I left with a trailer with bent tongue (but the brakes did function properly) The counter guy(different guy that told me truck was enough truck to pull this trailer) gave me a discount for the inconvenience that the customer that did not bring the trailer back at the stated time time had caused. The trailer towed fine with a bent tongue, then when I returned the trailer I pulled up in front in front of the hitch install bay to find the check in guy (Dave) on his phone and slow to walk up to meet the return, at which time he asked me to pull forward I asked him how far and he continued to give me hand signals so I just pulled up to where I thought was enough and that pissed him off, at this time he thumped the tires, all good, then he told me turn on the lights which I did and then I realized I had become an employee and we were doing a safety inspection for the next rental at this time he told me to turn on left signal so I turned on the hazards at this time he yelled at me to turn off the hazards and follow he directions and I did and all was good with the return. As a business owner I would never have the guy with tattoo's that took my reservation or the guy who checked in the trailer(Dave) work for a business I owned!!! These two employees are costing your business clientele!!

This was a very easy pick up of the car hauler that I wanted and everyone was very professional and helpful. Dropping off when I was done was just as easy.

Well the truck lights were falling out of the bumper. The truck was not clean when I pick it up. And I overestimated my trip milage and gas usage and did not get credited for returning it early. I pick it up with 1/4 of a tank and returned it with 3/4 of a tank. And only used about 1/3 the planned milage. If it was the other way round I would get charges massively and penalized.

I had a very pleasant experience dealing with U-Haul. Never had any issues with the facility, the staff were always helpful. I would note that it is a little pricey for a 5x10 unit though.

The overall facility is well maintained however the fee structure per unit size is expensive for what is offered in comparison to what other storage facilities can provide. I realize the fees are probably comprised of the U-Haul branding nationwide.

I especially like the fact that there is such a business such as you. I less especially like that there is the same code for the regular hours and after hours. I least especially like the free lock that comes with the rental. I like the workers available on-site. I like less the location if on-foot. I like least no thing connected with U-Haul as a company.

My only issue with the whole experience was I was promised to ground floor unit and when I arrived I wasn't able to get one I had to go up to the second floor however they made it very convenient for me with the elevator and carts to put all of my stuff on. The staff there was very friendly and the manager of the facility was a way above average excellent in fact.

I really appreciate UHaul Storage providing the first month free. That is extremely helpful when factoring in moving expenses. I love that each unit has its own security alarm. It made me feel confident when storing my clothes there. Also staff cleaned daily and A/C was adequate. Very helpful and friendly staff during my four- month stay.

Just an awful experience overall. At least it was clean and not flooding or on fire. It was supposed to be 24-7 access but so many times I would come to drop my things off at night only to lug them back home because my card and/or code didn't work. I went to get it "fixed" by the staff, then I stopped by one night before rent was due to clear my things out and the facility was still locked. They're only helpful enough to get your things in there, then it's a fight from there on to access your items when you should be able to. Ended up paying nearly $600 for nothing. Never been more disappointed or displeased in a storage facility in my life. As frustrating as this experience has been I'll never in my life suggest that anyone use U-Haul storage because there's a slim chance you'll leave with your things and even slimmer chance of you leaving satisfied. I wouldn't suggest this storage spot to my worst enemies. Too expensive, never responsive when you need to reach them by phone, just overall an awful experience. One good thing is it's clean. Best I can do as far as pros go for them.

Everything was great. Storage was clean, unit was a good size for my needs. Customer service was excellent. The guy on the scooter was very helpful. But the amount of homeless roaming the property and in the facility gave me a feeling that I would not want to be there anytime besides business hours. It is extremely sketchy at night. People harass you for change and ask if you need help repeatedly. I'm from here and used to all that but this was out there. I did not feel comfortable with my wife and kid alone with the multiple people watching and circling us nonstop during our move. I felt like inhad to watch my back and regretted putting my family in that position. I will likely find a unit at another location just because of this.

I was shocked to find out the price at Uhaul was 2-4 times higher than other nearby storage units of the same size. I just trusted that Uhaual would provide a good value as that is what the brand has always meant to me. It looks like times have changed.

This was by far the least stressful storage experience I've ever had! I rented 3 years ago moving the family from Arizona, And it was like a time capsule moving out carts to use a loading dock the works! Thank you for keeping my stuff safe!

The staff was friendly during five of my interactions. During one of my visits the front office experienced a computer malfunction across the entire UHAUL System, they all remained calm, and found alternatives to help each of their customers.

Very helpful. Was in a tight bond. Last Minute. Everything came together so quickly thanks to Great  staff and recommendations/suggestions. I can't remember gentlemans name that helped to enter after hours but was helpful. Then I told him I didn't have to buy lock in time. But the time I unloaded and got to storage unit. There was a courtesy lock placed at unit. I thank the G.m. I believe name was Dave Ferra. Hopefully I got name right. We were very tired and super cold 略❄️. But that was a great touch!

I can't get anyone to answer the phone at your location. Originally, I was told I was paying (over the phone, while my brother was actually moving in), that I was paying for that month (beginning 2/1/24). I was told the second month was free due to your promotion. When the copy of the completed contract was emailed to me it showed I would be billed again on 3/1/24. My calls are forwarded to a call center and they say to call you, at the office at this address. Please answer the phone!!! I originally spoke and paid Jo. More importantly, please correct the contract. I will not be paying for March unless you honor your word that "the second month is free."3

I love how we were able to back up our U-Haul and there was a dock where we could just pull stuff right out from the U-Haul on to the dock. We didn't need to pull out the ramp from the uhaul and this made the unloading process 10 times easier and smoother. The facility was nice, clean, and easy to navigate. The workers were friendly and very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this place!

I emptied my storage unit, early. I had three weeks left on my lease. I think it's pretty disgusting that the owner informed me that they do not give rebates on the unused time. I have been in the hospital and have not been able to make payments or call. When I was able to talk and was out of the hospital I asked if we can make a payment they said yes but we could not make a payment until 5/12/23 they told us that we could not wait for the payment. I got a notification that you sold our stuff for $40 that is a shame I have have been paying on time for over a year and I get sick and loose my belongings and my small children's belongings. If you would have waited 2 more days you would have made way more then $40.00.

I love this place. I grew fond o everyone. One month turned into one year. I didn't mind paying rent because there was never no pressure. No strict rules to follow when I emptied it out... like some places. Clean convenient and felt like family.

Moving in and having carts available was great but I do have one suggestion…. When we arrived garage slider was open and I hadn't fully understood where I'd have to put in access code, when we got to the unit and opened it, the alarm did go off… when the woman who came to check on the unit, she seemed very annoyed and inconvenienced. I express my apology and it was obvious she was agitated. Not shortly after, this happened to someone else and I happen to witness her reaction to the alarm & her notification. She rolled her eyes with a big sigh. I would assume that following up on alarms is part of her job description and such dramatic and irritable responses seemed inappropriate and was somewhat upsetting… to be spoken to in a condescending way definitely didn't make me or the people helping me, feel very good.

I had auto-pay set up for years. I was accessed a late charge on the last two billing cycles because the automatic payment wasn't processed with no explanation giving (no the card was not close to the limit. No it was not expired). In both cases, I'd confirmed auto-pay was set up before the due date. It is not worth dealing with billing issues, so moved my stuff out.

This facility was a home to my belongings for almost 2 years and I never worried about my belongings it was nice place my price never went up and the staff there was always pleasant thank you 🙏 all for your patience.

It would be nice if there was an area that had a disposal capability closer to where the access doors are into the facility. Just something to throwaway gloves and masks that we use for Covid. But none were available except all the way around the side of the building near the office. Facility was always clean. But we left the Uhaul site with our belongings after many years, because Uhaul kept increasing the prices every three months, and we could no longer afford the rental

Interactions with staff at this location were difficult. Long lines at the counter,abrasive and rude staff. It's just not necessary to behave that way….especially at your job. And, it includes the management as well.

Bad experience and will never return business to any uhaul location. I've rented from uhaul a dozen times, and I've never left feedback like this. I really hope the GM contacts me, so I can review this experience with him personally

$150/month for a 5x10 space is ridiculous. Most storage facilities offer a discount the 1st month but not uhaul. I flew in from out of town to clear my mother's apartment after she passed away; if I had more than 2days to move out I would have used someone else. At least the truck rental was only $50

I had a Crazy lady that would block my storage locker, all the time. In fact i think she lived there because she was always there like every time i would tryto get in my locker she was there day or night . She had a living area set up in her unit. she would yell and scream at me because she didn't want to move or i woke her up. Staff never did anything when i complained. they just said she rent there too will never rent here again

I grab a 1 way 15" truck and auto transport trailer, looked clean, but as I stated driving to Vegas, truck had no transmission fluid,truck hesitation was on 100, we had to pull over multiple times. Speed wouldn't go over 55 on e way half the time. Mostly we did 30 to 40 miles all the way there. Had to drive in neutral most the night, I got to Vegas in 48hr instead of 26 hr.Transmission was slipping made crazy noise and the check engine light came on. Tried call roadside on hold for hr, each time I called it was 1he, so we cost the way to Vegas, i played over 2 800 dollars to go through this just was disaster. I never had this experience with uhaul until now.

Three days after i put my items into storage and moved back to California your office girl calls me at 645 am saying i owe $300 for breaking in to my unit and destroying the door. I told her i obviously didn't do that i just got the unit why would i do that. Her response "oh well all your stuff is gone". I thought you guys have cameras but you can't look at them unless i file a police report so i did that. Month later police officer calls me saying my unit wasn't broken into and that i filed a false police report. Your office caused me a lot of unnecessary stress and issues that I'm still dealing with.

I like this storage facility because it is inside, thermostatically controlled, and very accessible. I like that there is a drinking fountain and restrooms available too.

Last 2 months now a concern ..Just yesterday 7/13/22 dealt w/ your billing staff via phone ..She was rude .. I felt I was charged w/ delinquent fee unfairly..Been using same account & all of a sudden my #S are wrong. I have to give her again my account # I am using for years w/ expiration date. I wasn't aware of the offer for free storage with a trailer rental. The Uhaul rep offered it when I told her our cul-de-sac could not accommodate the trailer. The storage space was a great solution. In retrospect, when your initial rep offered trailer rental as opposed to the small truck, she didn't bother to ask if the drop-off location was restricted.

When I walked in I was told that my reservation with confirmation was just a request and that it did not mean I had a unit when I drove from Florida and arrived. The employee then corrected himself and told me the unit was available. I was provided with an access card that did not work and an access number that did not work as well. I currently have no way to access my unit. I was told the computer system was down but other customers were accessing the doors while I was loading my unit. I had to keep the door propped open because the double doors locked before I was able to finish unloading my trailer into the unit.
