The employee was helpful. The computers were working terrible. The location only a couple of trailers to choose from. The trailer I chose was missing a safety hook to secure the chain on one side. I didn't notice that until I got home.

My past experience at a different facility was awful but this one was fantastic. While this facility is older and not as nice as the previous one, I would recommend this one for friendliness and helpfulness. It is a cage and not a room here but it suits my needs.

It is very poor business practice to not refund the balance of a storage unit when a customer moves out of it. I rented a unit and was able to move out of my unit 1 week after I had made my monthly payment. When I went to tell the employee I was done and asked about reimbursement for time unused I was told I was out of luck. So I learned you will take my money and then rent the unit to someone else and wrongfully earn double rent payment. I will never use your storage facilities again and anytime someone asks me for a recommendation for storage I make sure I tell them what you did to me and strongly recommend they use a different facility.

I am very pleased with my experience renting from U-Haul since 2017. The entire facility was always clean with secure easy access year round including expedient snow removal in winter. The climate-controlled unit offered lighting both inside and along corridors for convenient removal of storage items after dark. The staff was always pleasant, courteous and helpful. I will definitely patronize U-Haul again if needed in the future and highly recommend them with a five-star rating to friends and family.

No cart on my building. Tried a couple of weeks still no cart to move things. Staff makes me run around to move my things from one building to another. One of the staff makes a promise that never keep his words. When following up with him, he is off or not around.

The manager is very rude and unprofessional, he needs to be trained to de-escalation any situation especially with the clients not calling them RUDE, because I stand on my right to have the truck rental for a day means (24 hours not 8 hours) as he tried to address it as it's his branch and he can put new rules as he wants claiming his concerns to supply other families moving trucks, and when I refused his offers and disputed his illegal condition of 8 hours and I have to pay 200$ extra charge fees for late return after 8 hours and another 29,99 for second rental day fees (8 hours) that means he wanted to scams me and he didn't like it when I went outside his store and booked it online from 3pm to 7am he called my action as a RUDE infront of his college and my friend,he gave me very hard time to give me the key with attitude, My contract number:96479479 Please check up all cameras

Systems were acting up apparently. Waited 45 minutes to rent a trailer. Ended up processing it by paper. Only need trailer for a few hours. Charged me incorrectly. Then returned a few hours late they tried charging me the difference of 1,66 that the taxes didn't account for but couldn't explain why I was being charged this amount. This again took over 20 minutes to leave. Wasted an hour in the store. Will not return.

The unit should never have been rented out with a broken roll up door. Can't use it without bringing someone else to hold the door open. I total waste of time. Move in date was feb 29 and was told by the manager today that the door could be replaced tomorrow.

Hello Overall a really good experience. However, I paid for 2 temperature controlled units realizing just recently that the hallways were heated and I believe cooled but the storage unit itself was not. That would've made a big difference in what units and facility I chose.

Compared to the competition for clean units, our unit 100 had tons of spiderwebs on the door inside and all along the bottom. I've had storage units for vehicles and household items at the other uhaul and the competition where they swept daily throughout the yard and picked up garbage and pulled the weeds so everything didn't look old and well used. And the dust from the construction is ridiculous. Why don't you have a water truck on site. Esp when it's extra windy. And what is with the last unit is anyone's game even if you reserve it??? Whats the point of a registration??? It's not even fair to subject your employees to shocked and highly annoyed customers when they have trucks and trailers already rented from you, and suddenly nowhere to put their things because they had to go with their schedule for work etc. Something known about for weeks. Maybe a way of your company collecting on truck and trailer rentals for an extra day or two. Definitely not cool and I'd never recommend anyone for that reason alone. Can't be too legal either.

My only complaint was that one of our two doors was never fixed. Therefore we could not use it because it would fall out of the track. We were promised a few times that repairs would be done but it never happened. The last time I asked I gave them my key only to find out that there had to be 4 or 6 feet cleared from the door in order to have it repaired so that it was usable. We had no where to put the items so that they could fix it. That's why we got a storage unit in the first place because we had no where to put them. When we finally emptied our unit after all this time we couldn't open the door at the other end because we knew the door would come out of the track again and would be dangerous and come out of the track. So it was difficult to empty it the way that we wanted to because we could only work from one end. We rented this unit for many years. I guess it would have been nice if the staff or owner would have moved out the things that were in the way of them fixing the door since it wasn't our fault that the door was broken and we did not have full access to the storage unit that we were paying for. That was never offered to us. Disappointing.

Everything would have been great until the 2 staff members that took care of my moving out , i had mentioned that the payment for the next month had been automatically withdrawn from my bank account and they mentioned that the had to check the locker and would be right back. The worker went checked and came back, closes out my rentel and gave me a receipt. I asked about my refund and they told me that if i would have mentioned it before they closed the account they would have been able to reverse charges but since they had already closed it i couldn't get a refund and would have to wait until monday to speak to the manager. Hopefully we can resolve this asap.

Issue: 1) The first day of check in was not great. Looks like the system was glitching( according to the service rep) and had to wait a very long time to check in. Also never received the actual storage space Size after booking it and getting it confirmed online. When asked the service rep he had no proper answer to that on why it happened. Had to pay extra and get another space which wasn't great. After that lengthy time consuming process, to my surprise he provided me a room , upon check in and whe going to open after all that hassle figured out it was occupied by someone else with a lien tag on it for non payment. Then I had to go back to him and he later switched me to another unit that was empty. Overall a very negative check in experience with multiple error for check- in, but the service rep tried his best and I understand the limitation from his end if his system didn't co-operate. 2) The unit never had a proper working light in it. Pro: 1) Check out process was simple and easy. 2) Location and storage access was convenient

two comments the team there is friendly etc but there was supposed ot be a lock in my unit when i arrive, there was not so I had to walk back to office and wait in line to get one. Also I'm not sure what cleaned is but there were lots of dust and spider webs in the unit along edges/corners. Just looked like they did a quick clean and sweep out, not super clean. The location is fine and staff good just have never stored anything before and thought it would be as sooth as the on-line processes have been.

Our storage unit door needed some repair. Though still operable, it was difficult to open and close. Though the staff were helpful and friendly, on two occasions requests were not carried out the first time. An old lock from the previous owner had to be removed and it took a few requests to have it removed. Also, when we were finished with the unit, we informed the attendant who neglected to enter the information in the computer. Hence we recieved a payment request a few days later which required me to follow up on.

I found the staff unprofessional and rude. I gave them information about the movers that were coming to clear out my storage and they failed to write it down and delayed the movers. It was difficult to gain access to my inside storage as the automatic card reader was broken and you had to call and get staff to open it.

Was rented out a unit with a non operating door - door was to be repaired and I was to be contacted when completed - I called a week later and I had to leave a message because it wasn't apparent that the door was repaired - the following weekend I was contacted to be advised that I could move into another unit (not an end unit which I requested) I advised I would wait for another end unit to become available, as the one I had been booked under was rented to someone else now, I was then notified my monthly payment was coming due - I canceled. Not even moved in, a disorganized booking- repair set up, yet very punctual in looking for a payment -

Not only did I have a ton of billing issues, when their lock seized I had to figure it out myself but don't dare damage their door... then I get my lock off and empty my unit dropped 3 boxes in their already messy garbage area and I get charged 50.00. I get the bill it says it is for storage not trash removal so pretty sure employees pocketed that money... overall terrible experience. Especially when you pay a arm and a leg for storage.

Staff ALWAYS hanging on the golf cart and watching you instead of being available inside. The new hires are great but the girl (I believe manager) that's always been there is the worst. Accessing the storage during the winter was little hard . The card swiping machine at the entrance of the building was frozen with ice and I couldn't Able to enter . Secured protection to that swiping machine during harsh climate would be better.

This storage facility was really good at first, but then I could not get into the building where the storage locker was. My code was cancelled and despite many new cards, I had to call someone and wait for them to unlock the building. This went on for weeks until I was done and it was still not fixed. Other than that everything was great.

Still waiting for a call from the general manager. The unit was disgustingly dirty. My mattress was ruined as it had mold. The mattress and box spring were both wrapped in plastic and sealed to prevent this from happening. Furniture was ruined because of the layers of grime and dust. Not very happy

Staff are courteous however I was very disappointed with hygiene practices on site. None of the staff, including manager, wore PPE. This situation is not unique to the South Walker Rd location - I have been extremely disappointed with the Dougall Rd location. Yesterday, only one staff person at Dougall wore a mask - a young male. Neither Sammy or his young female staff wore masks for which I was very vocal about. I praised the young male for doing his part but the rest of the staff's negligence is inexcusable and potentially very dangerous. Today I returned to the Dougall location to find all without masks and told Sammy that I would report his location if he failed again. The Pandemic is not a joke. The Windsor/Essex County area has the highest per capita Covid infectious rate in the province of Ontario. A plexiglass barrier does not replace a mask especially in a city that mandates all to wear a mask. As an excuse, the young female defended her actions stating "I always wear a mask..." for which I stopped her from finishing because her current work hygiene exempts her from wearing A mask. I am very impressed with the service relating to storage rental. The three different employees I spoke with with very helpful and super courteous. Much appreciated. AND the price was better than all the others I researched. PLUS, I was surprised to find out upon enrolling that I received a free month rental. Great news. Thank you.

Bad management very rude locked me out of my storage unit for no reason extremely unsatisfied also staff member convinced I used 1/4 tank of gas for total travel of 5km’s very sad poor service

We could not access our storage after business hours although we had 24 hour access because the door would not open which was super inconvenient . We were later told the breaker was off.

Everything was excellent except the rodent (mice) droppings that were regularly present in my locker and on my floor. I had never had food in the locker. They were significant when I did my final move out - removing shelving.

The storage aspect was great. Interaction with the staff was almost never pleasant, door was often locked, phone calls took multiple attempts to get through etc I'm happy to no longer be using this facility

Always amazing staff! Always polite and efficient no matter how busy they are. Every time I went there. I closed a unit during this crazy coved 19 crisis while self distancing. Still awesome wonderful service. Highly recommend this place! Please appreciate all that they do to run your business,

the unit was somewhat clean but could have been swept out better or even power washed , I found it quite dusty on the floor. I will sweep it out myself before I move items inside.

I was robbed. I had insurance through uhaul and they never followed through. The staff there Is very helpful but the facility is far from secure and uhaul as a company has greatly let me down.

the Windsor Dougal Ave people were efficient with my last minute repair to burned signal fuses and the South Windsor Mgr, (Allison) was extremely helpful when I had to change my truck destination.

I had a great experience except they forgot my dolly and worse when i went in to put my stuff in storage they had lost my reservation. Not the walker road sites fault but the person who took my reserv
