I utilize this U-Haul location to pick up small trailers for in town/ local reasons. Staff are competent and courteous.

I was very disappointed in U-Haul's lack of communication. The location of pickup was changed and I was not notified by anybody which delayed my trip home. My drop off location was also changed without being notified. U-Haul needs to work on better communication. I probably won't use this company again because of this.

Your employees are rude !!!! Guy comes up to the truck causing dropping off I said yes he said heave the keys get out . I would never ever go to this location and will inform others to do the same horrible !!!!

The constant price increase was the only complaint I have. We would have kept the unit if the price was at the original contract price.

The employee greeted me and helped me through all the steps. The process was very seamless. I also had to switch from a box truck to a van and move everything from the box truck to the van. The employee just changed the contract and made a frustrating situation into a good experience. Taunton was having a free get rid of your trash/appliances/yard waste etc.... day. The facility was not accepting box trucks so when I got there a police officer informed me of no box trucks. I went back to Uhaul to explain the situation and was helped immediately to resolve my circumstance. Thanks Uhaul!!

Everything but one issue was fine. While we were there, there was an employee cleaning the storage facility floors using cleaning products that were toxic to me, causing me to go into respiratory attacks. Just as the smells dissipated, the air vents would kick on stirring it back up. I had to get to the closest garage to get out of that environment leaving my husband to do most of the moving work by himself. I'd like to recommend using cleaning products with no scents/fragrances. And if this isn't possible, my recommendation is to clean the facility floors when it's closed to customers to prevent this from happening to myself or others. Or set up a designed cleaning time that publicized to customers.

Have properly serviced trucks so that the customer doesnt get stuck on the side of the road for 3 hours awaiting a tow . Change policy for the "rare" occurance that if the truck breaks down with a load that someone goes to customer with a replacement truck so said customer move is not delayed.

Location great van great. The app I selected no dolly no moving mats. I try to pick up the van and when I select there are no mats or dollys as I wanted it tells me I should have it. I didn't want it, I didn't get it. Perfect. But the app says I should have it. I'm sure the goal of the company is to have people use the app without human interaction. I had to call twice to fix this no mat no dolly issue.

Very expensive to rent , 1,29 per mile plus paying for gas . Outdoor lock box with key is difficult to navigate in the winter , hands fingers freezing then trying to put the code and open a frozen lock was difficult. Took me 45 mins to complete the office hours pick up of truck.

Very disappointed I was charged a $15 insurance fee and after I refilled tank to half of tank I was still charged for gas. I have been using uhaul for years and very happy I think I may never use or recommend uhaul again. It's not the dollar amount it was the experience

Was told to go to this location and the one at Altaboro to get help with the auto transported that was missing a piece for me to be able to off load my car . When told to go to Altaboroh the agent told me they did not have the proper tools to assist to contact roadside assistance . I spent 45 minutes on the phone with Steven the agent that was "helping " for him to send me to the Tauton location at this point I had already been driving 3,5 hours from New york to Altaboro to then have to then be told to go to another location for "help" ! When I arrived to Taunton Hunter received me he was the kindest young men tried to do his best after already informing the agent from the Roadside assistance that he did NOT have the equipment needed he still tried to accomodate my son and I the best way he could be re reaching out and letting them know he truly could not help and I needed a tow company ! at 7:18pm now after being on the road from 7am -7pm without being able to unload my belongings or my car off the truck I received a call from the Tow company that he was on his way but again their was an issue since he arrived at the location he was given which was WRONG ! He was told to go to 250 Taunton when I was at 280 taunton street ! Which he let me know when he arrived he was able to remove my car from the auto transport piece by now it was 8pm at night ! This was the worst experience already to then come back the next day to drop of the U hual and get push back from David the agent working at that location on 12/7 ! He wouldn't let me speak just kept saying you need to put gas in the car when I had arrived initially with a half tank but having to go back and forth to several locations pulling a car plus furniture was not of interest to him after trying several times to explain what I spoke about with the Customer service agent ! He just kept brushing me off and shoving his phone in my face ! I instantly called Customer service after the interaction ! Hunter and the Towing company person were the ONLY agents that showed customer service and truly helped me in this horrible experience ! I had my child with me and made what was supposed to be a smooth transition horrible !

We've used several U-Hauls in the area and with one exception (Toni the manager in Raynham), they've been varying degrees of awful. This U-Haul was amazing top to bottom. Everyone knew what they were doing, they were helpful and attentive, it was clean, the equipment we wanted that was listed on the website was actually available. The price was as quoted, we were able to get in and out quickly. This is how all facilities should be.

I called early morning to reserve a van rental and was assisted by Sean. Upon pick up, Sean made the experience a seamless pleasant experience; great customer service. The van was very clean, nice and just what we needed; the cost was fair. Returning the van was also a smooth experience by the two late afternoon employees. The guy was very rude he was complaining about another customer."he says I don't take no shit from customers on sundays" telling his coworker as I am standing there waiting for him to call me next in line.He was very rude to me and my mother.his attitude was not welcoming .He gave us no direction how to use the lock box . I went back into the store 5x asking where and how to use it he told us "well you need to wait I'm busy in a rude way made us wait 30 minutes until I called another store asking how to use a lock box he never came out side to help use with the lock box .neither did the other uhaul worker .this location is the worst.i will never return and i will tell all my friend not to return to this location. Poor customer service bad attitude,not welcoming its embarrassing for this man to act this was at 9am in the morning he should have stayed home .very unprofessional.

Great experience renting a storage unit, and truck rental. The staff is very friendly, and pros at what they do. The facility is very clean, and organised. The prices for everything are fair. Plenty of free parking in their large lot. I would use again ,and recommend this facility to others. Two thumbs up.

Mileage cost is a little excessive. Not offered a Mileage deal for box truck like there is available for van rentals. Found two of our local uhaul offices NEVER answer the telephone, it is always rerouted to a Uhaul main service center.

I had no issues with the storage unit..it was qell lit and clean...other then the 2 rate increases....it was all good.. if I needed it again I would definitely rent from UHaul again

My guarantee reservation , place of pickup was changed, further away from 3 other closer locations and in the opposite direction that I was traveling. When I went to pick it up I asked for 5 moving blankets that I did not receive. I thought your customer service person had put them in the truck because he had left the counter for a few minutes after we had talked about them, but we were never given them. When we went to return the truck we pulled up where we were told to wait for someone to come out, but no one came out , I had to go inside after 5 minutes and someone was just sitting at the counter and said oh I didn't see you there.. your customer service have poor attitudes and aren't helpful! I will think twice again about renting a truck from you. And we didn't get the $50 dollar credit for the lack of your guarantee reservation.

I checked out 3 different locations in the area before choosing this Uhaul for my storage. It's the best one in the area. Good location. Lots of safe secure climate controlled storage. Great staff. Fast service. I had the storage room for almost 2 years while moving and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this facility. I would recommend it to anyone

My one complaint is the automatic door system. There was never any signage that the whole system to access the storage units changed. I think better signage would be extremely helpful.

This taunton location is a nice play clean and maintained. Was able to get to my starge box when I needed it but the staff could be better friendlier just left like they were miserable and I was there just bothering him. But they did say hi and how they could help me.

This storage option was the best-priced one around, but it also had the best amenities. It was indoors and climate-controlled. The price went up a bit over the years, but not by much, and it was still cheaper than many outdoor options. The security was also great, with a card check-in and check-out on top of the physical lock. I'd recommend this location to anyone.

I've done my homework and over the years, have had 5 rental units in 3 states to store both personal and professional items. When the other guys engage in unethical business practices and tell you, "That's just how it works in this industry," don't believe them. Our non-profit organization had a small unit at this facility for 3 years. Over that period, our rate went up modestly, usually once per year. We made the mistake of transferring to another company which did a pricing, "bait and switch." The UHaul Taunton facility made it super easy to come back, which we did this week. The staff is professional and helpful, the units are clean, and we've never had a problem using the electronic access system. I highly recommend this company and want to give a special thank you to Andrew, the staff member who checked us in yesterday and who facilitated an earlier-than-expected move-in date so we didn't have to pay the other company another penny.

My storage experience was an "okay" one as I had asked the representative for a 1-2 bedroom storage but was reserved the smallest one. The truck reservation was a nightmare! We were given another customer's truck and it took more than 2 hours to return the truck in Taunton.

I really loved the ability to drive into the building for loading/unloading. It was especially nice in the colder months and on rainy days. The restroom was always spotless and well appointed. I wish I could give you more than 5 stars!

The manager was very nice, friendly, greeted me when I walked up to the counter. He demonstrated how to properly close and lock the unit. He highlighted the map for me so I would know where to go. I was there during my lunch break and he got me in and out with time to spare. :)

Did not like the fact that I paid for a lock that I had to struggle with to unlock.I was told I would have to get a locksmith,but thankfully after playing with it I was able to get it opened.I just don't think the fact I was given a choice of a lock wasn't fair.Hopefully it was a fluke thing,otherwise everything was good.

The facility was clean and bright. The staff was extremely helpful in advising me of the available options. I was personally escorted to my assigned space to identify the easiest access and shown how to operate the lock and make the unit secure. As a female who is not familiar with the logistics of such an undertaking, I was pleased to be treated with such respect, patience and kindness.

The man who set up my storage was excellent. I was feeling a little moody and he remained calm, & polite. I was a little put off by being asked for people's address and full name and phone number. That is why I was moody. I had never been asked for anyone's address before for a storage unit so I was wondering if he was being discriminatory & I felt it was intrusive. I didn't want to give someone's address etc. I wanted to say I really appreciated his ability to still help me as he probably would anyone else. I did apologize to him directly before I left.

We were a little concerned after we first reserved the unit because we never received an email confirmation. We called the to inquire and were told the reservation was confirmed and our email was corrected - but still no email confirmation. Non the less, when we arrived on move in day, a unit was available. The staff members was very nice and showed us how the security worked and where our unit was. The only drawback was the unit was a fair distance from the loading area. And we walked past many other units the seemed to be available. All in all, we are very happy with the experience so far. Free locks and a free months rental because we reserved a truck. Can't beat that! Thank you.

The evening that I tried to move in the doors were locked and with in the hours listed as accessible The following day I returned there was a corporate walk through with Probably more than 20 people And only 2 or 3 Uhaul employees wearing protective masks They told me and my 14 yr old niece to pass through but I didn't feel safe in this situation I asked them to put masks on and a few people for what ever reason did not! The sole reason I'm putting my possessions in storage is a result of the virus. I've now become the main caretaker of my 80 yr old mother These employees put my whole households health at risk. I lost more enough people here in Taunton and in my former home of Miami! This blatant disregard for the pandemic is for lack of a better word DISGUSTING
