I don't know. The customer service professionals were very kind, patient, and helpful. I have used that location several times, and I have had good experiences each time.

DELROY WThe facility and staff are very good but the alarm keeps going off unnecessarily. In the fifteen minutes i was inside, the alarm must've gone off maybe 7-8 times and it was very frustrating, annoying and anxiety inducing.

Martin RCustomer service ok. Store clean and organized. I rented a 15ft van. The van looked fine physically but the van was hard to control driving down the road due to suspension issues. It also was raining and the van leaked rain water through the top around the windscreen and soaked my clothes and was running onto the radio.

Rae SThe pickup and check out went smooth but the van was filthy. Looked like a drywall crew had just used it and didn't clean after. I spent an hour after I got it to my house cleaning the windows inside and out. I had to wipe down the inside dash and floors to get drywall dust and food stains up. Looked like someone sneezed on the inside of the windshield and tried to spit out the window and hit the door jam. I had to vacuum the cargo area before I could load my stuff in. The tires had to be checked and filled as the dash warning system was on. Windshield wipers might need replaced. The only positives was the fuel was full and no issues in the road. The app is nice , I had to use it to drop off since nobody came out to assist me. The product is good but the customer service and cleanliness is lacking.
Craig DEverything was great and the folks were friendly and helpful. My one complaint was that the gas was at 7/8 of a tank and recorded such on the rental agreement. This meant that I only needed to return with 7/8 of a tank. When I stopped to get gas just a mile away from the drop off place, the gauge was at 5/8 of a tank. So I only needed to add 1/4 of a tank. Since the tank holds 40 gallons, I added 10 gallons of gas at $3 per gallon. When I got back in the truck it registered full and your receipt shows it was returned full even though the pump did not auto stop as it would do if the tank was full. Therefore, I added as much as 5 gallons of gas, or $15 of gas, more than needed. It is impossible to tell when pumping gas how to get the tank 7/8 full. This may be intentional on your part, but I will never again rent from U-Haul unless there is an upfront commitment that the truck will be full.

Arianna A | Premières impressionsThe truck was great and was perfect for my moving purposes. However I did have an issue withhow my trip was charged. While I understand that the charges are by the day, if I only arrive 10-15 after my allotted return time (which by the way should be clarified at time of pickup) then I feel there should be some concession such as a late fee rather than charging me for 2 full days when I only had the truck for only a few minutes above 1 day. Specially as I had also gotten the Safemove insurance and was charged for 2 days for it as well. There should be better communication of the expected time of return and the consequences if that time isn't met.

PHILLIP CVehicle did not have a scraper & heat did not work, which made driving conditions dangerous. Employee scraped some of the windshield, but didn't seemed concerned that the heat/defrost was not working.

The monthly rate was very reasonable, the facilities were excellent, safe, and accessible, and the people were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Changkuan LKaren was friendly and helpful. Process to check out was easy. Only complaint was that I later noticed the trailer tires were low on air. Max pressure was 65, and one of the tires was down to 15! I called the U-Haul location to see if I could stop by and have them put air in the tires, and they said I'd be better off going to a gas station. They mentioned something about a faulty air compressor at their location.

A few days later, I went there again and reserved another one for July 1. I didn't go to the premises on July 1st (I didn't know I would have to), and they canceled my reservation. However, for some reason it didn't let me check in online so I couldn't move in and had to come back the next day during office hours. Then, I came back the next day. Firstly, they took so long to get my unit ready and then they told me that they didn't have a medium size available even though I booked it well in advance 2 months ago. It worked out, though, since they gave me the "last" 2 small units that were the same size as a medium but what's the point of me booking in advance when they don't have what I reserved? Overall, okay experience but I feel like it could've been better. Moving and storing is a hectic experience and I wish U-Haul would've helped make it go smoother instead of worse.

I saw a lot of their clothes on the floor of the inside storage (inside the glass door). There were 3 people. One was using the restroom. They have an outside storage. But I don't think there should be occupants inside. I was very spooked and left quickly.

They said they do not make any exceptions at all and wont prorate. As someone who has given Uhaul thousands of dollars over the years, i'm pretty disappointed. We will start to look at other rentals in the future Instead of going straight to u haul. I have always considered uhaul to be the best , but now that I see where I stand as a customer, I will look elsewhere and only use u haul as a last resort. The manager was supposed to call me As I created a complaintthrough the corporate Number, However I never received a call. I wouldn't be surprised if I received a call shortly after this post. I think the people are friendly, That doesn't matter if you're really just ripping off the customer.

Booking the unit online was a huge plus as a parent and access was easy enough. Having rented units in other cities before, knowing that the individual unit was protected with an individualize alarm was a very reassuring bonus. If the need arises again, we would not hesitate to rent another unit from this facility.

They gave me a different unit that was bigger and more expensive, and did not offer to match the agreed upon price. They gave me the first month free, which worked because I only needed it short term, but if I was planning on long term storage this would be unacceptable. I had proof that showed I had the reservation and the worker agreed.

The staff at the office was friendly and helpful when renting a storage unit. We rented a trailer at home and returned it at the U Haul location in West Lafayette - the day we emptied the unit and returned the trailer, they were expecting another 15-25 returns! But despite being overwhelmed with customers, they were again courteous and helpful. Je les recommande.

Only thing that would have been very helpful would be an email a few days before our storage reservation date directly from the local U-Haul location confirming that the facility is expecting us. It is very difficult to get through to the local facility by phone and the national customer service center can only verify a reservation and has not information on local storage inventory availability. The last thing a customer wants is to show up with a reservation and not have a storage spot.

Aloke B | Expérience généraleThe U-haul self-storage, climate controlled facilities are very nice and very clean! The rates are reasonable and I love that each unit has a personal alarm. I would highly recommend this space for short-term or long-term storage. The only negative is that the map says that the loading/unloading dock is covered, however it is not, and since I had to move in the rain (thankfully light) it was a bit of a pain. That being said I still give this place 5 stars!

When the lock that they provided failed, I was told, without apology, to hire and pay for a locksmith to remove the lock I didn't want. I was ultimately forced to arrange for the lock to be removed. I understand that in most cases, storage unit rental is fully transactional. If you are storing at their facility, make sure you get a keyed lock if your unit is outdoors. My experience, however was unpleasant and this is an accurate description of it.

At this time, I noticed a planter with artificial flowers on the floor in the corner with a clean roll of necessary toilet paper. As I reached down for the roll, the artificial flowers fell out of the planter. I saw something glossy in the bottom of the planter. It was a used crack pipe! After finishing in the bathroom, I and my fiancé showed the pipe to the uhaul rep on duty. The rep said he would throw it away. Contacting the actual uhaul store was quite difficult.

The manager gave me one from his personal parts. They made the entire experience easy. They also removed an enormous amount of the stress one may feel when doing an out-of-state move alone. They should be be recognized for their effort and professionalism that often non-existsent in today's service sector. I applaud them. They are the benchmark to which everyone sould aspire. Pallets and rodent trap were placed in the unit as standard, but the pallets were dirty and I was concerned about potential for bugs in them. When I moved them, spiders crawled out. I covered them with tarp and set them to the side which took up space. Pallets should be offered but not automatically placed. Timing prevented me from asking for removal.

Slide on door very hard to open. Gates are out of commission often for weeks. There is a truck tire placed against a unit need E3 for 2 weeks not removed.

More recently, when it was time to move out, I showed up at my locker one evening to find a second lock installed, with a note to go by the office to get the key for it. The office was already closed, so I could not access my things. I had not been notified that a new lock had been installed. Both my first and last interactions with this company were decidedly negative. I will never rent from UHAUL again if I can avoid it.
