Perhaps, can offer to get the trucks ready for customers to drive straight off the lot especially if they're in a little bit of a tighter spot with not much room to maneuver.

MATTHEW EMy experience was a bit mixed to start, no equipment was assigned to my reservation so imagine trying to do a mobile pick up at 11pm and having to sit in a parking lot and call customer service to get equipment assigned. I then had to just wait until the next morning to pickup my truck because the Uhaul system locked me out of my account. Bob the manager at the location was great in handling all of the mess from the night before and was able to get me going quickly. The truck was very clean but the ramp got stuck a few times. Then I needed to extend and was very tired at this point and was hung up on by Jennifer at the scheduling center when trying to get a rental extension. Glad the experience is over but really questioning whether I want to use Uhaul again.

GERMAINE JThere were no full time employees staffing the entire location at the time of move in. There were only 2 trainees (not their fault) to facilitate move in. They did the best they could but continually had to call other locations for instructions. It turned what should have been a 10 minute check-in into a 3 hour ordeal. Again, I do not blame the trainee staff, they did the best they could and overall accomplished the task. At some point during the rental, the staff cut the lock to the unit mistaking it for a different unit then replaced the lock without informing anyone on the contact list. This wasn't addressed until move out when we could not gain access to our own unit. Utterly unacceptable from move in to move out.

So when I returned the rental your manager told me I had to replace the gas or get charged $5 a gallon, he proceeded to tell me to put 7 1/2 gallons I should be fine but all I had to put was 3 gallons! I felt like he tried to swindle me into filling up the tank and if you advise your associates to explain the rules then they should tell us upfront to replace the gas because if not then your customers are totally getting played.

DRSHK TI had this storage for approximately 15 months about 6 months into my lease they told me that I had the wrong lock on my storage so I needed to come pick up the new key, I thought that was odd because I bought the lock in the office so you would think they would have told me then! I recently moved out of the storage and was horrified to see that my TV was stolen!!!!!! No one had broken in, both locks were locked so it had to be an inside job. No one was helpful and even told me that I was not helping my case because I told them that it didn't look like it was broken into. Nothing was done and I'm stuck without a tv!!!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND….

DYLAN GThe trucks don't work. They switched the truck when the mirrors wouldn't adjust. They gave a truck with less than a full tank but did not send a link to update the fuel. I returned at the same fuel level (only drove 6 miles TOTAL and put a gallon of gas in the truck). When returning the truck they said "oh we'll send you the receipt" and then sent a fuel charge on it! DO NOT RECOMMEND. Would never go back. Have used Budget before for the same purpose and had a much better experience both times.

My storage unit was infested with roaches immediately after I moved in. Regardless of me being disgusted by contamination I didn't complain. Things quickly took a turn when my storage unit was broken into December. The staff gave me parts of stories and lies. Told me storage wasn't insured even though I thought it was. Idk just an overall nightmare. I wouldn't recommend a soul to this location not even the company as a whole. I lost years worth of designer clothing, shoes, and on top of that all of my work equipment for my salon and spa. Expensive things that weren't protected to the best ability in my opinion. I still want to escalate and follow up with a district leader from corporate.

The staff had issues finding an open unit because the system kept showing them units as "available" that were still being used. The manager at this location needs to fix the system issues because many people have complained about it for a long time. I moved out and yet I am still getting letters that I am occupying the unit and have to pay rent, even though I checked out my unit at the front desk and received paperwork for it. Not a good system at all.

kingsly o | Expérience généraleThis was an interesting trip. I initially used this storage unit because it was the only one open at the time in my area. I got there at opening time, and the 2 attendants were already overloaded. Only one person appeared to be able to operate the computer, and from what I heard the system was down. Once it was my turn, approximately 30 minutes later, I rented a unit on the midway. My movers had already arrived to fill the unit. When I went to inspect the unit, it already had a lock on it. I was told that the staff could do nothing about the lock. This resulted in unnecessary delays to the access to the unit for my movers. Upon notifying the main attendant, Joe, found another unit. For my troubles, he offered the first month rent free. By this time, my credit card had already been charged for the unit. I asked the attendant what they would do about the charge, and he said that I had a credit. I took his word on good faith and left my items in storage. Thinking I would still have the account credit. 14 days later I need to remove my items, and there is an unrented U-Haul van in front of the doors to get to my unit. When I told local management, they said they could not move the truck. This resulted in unnecessary delays to the access to the unit for my movers. When I went to close the account, and explained my situation. I asked about the credit, and the attendant said I would need to come back when the manager was there. I came back another day, the manager appeared to be there. He tells me that he sees the notes of what happened, but he does not see the credit to the account. I decided to close the account. As the manager checked on the unit, another attendant tells me to call the corporate number, as there is nothing they can do for me. I called the corporate number, and described my situation. They apologized and said that they would contact the manager to find out what happened. Corporate tells me that the manager would call the attendant that made the promises, and get back with me that day. It has been over 24 hours and I have not heard from the Corporate or local manager. I would like the promise of the first month free to be honored and I would like the unit cost to be returned to my account. The delays to my moving company is worth that much.

However, that, coupled with lights that only come on as you move through the building, and that leaves the hallway behind you and further ahead of you so very dark, was just too much for me. ZELLORIA J | Expérience généraleAfter looking at the selected storage unit I noticed the overhead door is only about 90" tall. The orange facade above the door creates the look of an opening closer to 9 ft tall. If it were actually about 9 ft. tall it would make loading and unloading my item a lot easier and faster. One of the door tracks is very loose near the top of the track and the door comes out of the track. The mounting bracket is bent and should be straightened out or replaced. We will see how the maintenance man handles this this week.

It rung until it rolled over to the call center and never received a call or a letter or anything. This was a horrible experience and now i have none of those things anymore. Call to see what can be done and they seem to have an attitude all the time.

Excellent location and I tip my hat and two thumbs up for curb appeal!! Never thought I would say that when speaking of a storage warehouse facility. If you need a storage space this is your place!!

Lourdes G | Expérience généraleI was robbed for everything I own and manager never even got back to me about fileing a claim.She said she did'nt think I could file because there was no evidence of a break in.I can't help that.And that is ridiculous.I am quite sure robbers break in all the time and leave no evidence.She said she'd talk to her supervisor then never got back to me.I was obviously robbed it did'nt even do me any good to have the insurance .When I told her I had 1000 dollars worth of stuff she just said no.Like that was'nt possible.

Only issue is long term budget impact - rent is month to month and rent increases can and have occured with little advance notice. The last increase labelled as "nominal" was in fact 7 %. All in all, given that only 2 increases occured during the 20 years I rented, the experience was reasonable.

For god sake. please correct that broken process... after a 12 hour day of packing, driving and unloading in 100 degree heat I don/t need the run around from a person on a phone or in the office.

I moved to Proguard and hav an alarm on my unit and provided a lock for free, and pay half the price of uhaul. I recommend uhaul consider safety and business practice of Proguard and do some changes. frederick d | Premières impressionswhen I signed up to rent the unit i gave my banking info for auto draft payments. the first payment went without hick up. the second payment i got a notice i was late so i called and gave me banking info again they made the payment. every month forward i would get an email of a late fee assessed and would have to go online to pay my rent payment. i set up auto payment every month and it never would auto pay. for 6+ months i had to pay more than $50 in fees because of their payment system never working and them not notifying me of the payment until after the fees were put onto my account. i finally got fed up with it and moved my stuff out and cancelled my unit. would I recommend this place? no unless you pay for the unit 12 months at once.
