I was very pleased with the staff at the Spokane Valley location. They were polite, professional and knowledgeable. I go the trailer I needed for the job and they hooked me up and got me on my way. My trip went well.

WILLIAM MI generally had a good experience with the staff, but the trailer was incredibly dangerous. The trailer turn signals were completely off, which caused me to nearly get in multiple accidents throughout the drive. Because of this, the entire experience was just anxious and bad.

The lights were not hooked up correct and the trailer brakes did not work. Not impressed half way through the 8 hour trip home I didn't feel comfortable towing this trailer anymore. Especially getting ready to cross the North Cascades Pass. Had to call someone to come help us. They drove 3,5 hours to fix something that should not have been an issue. Had I just went ahead and crossed the pass it could have ended not good!

KIRA CI used the app for my pickup because my pick up was before opening hours. It went smooth until it got to getting the key. The video and instructions said the lock with code would be on the truck. It wasn't. Luckily I didn't have to wait too long until the store opened and a representative could show me a box on the building with a bunch of locks on it that had the key. No where did the directions point me in that direction. Luckily I wasn't late to meet my movers. Also, the visor on the driver side was broken and constantly fell into my vision. On the app during "return truck" I tried to put that into the portion asking, but it wouldn't proceed when I said yes. It forced me to answer no to proceed.

He says: "No" and I ask why and he walks off without responding. So I left and as I leave he yells: "You cant drop off here" which is false because it was my drop off location. I ignored him and left later that day they try to charge my card 2 times for the full cost of the rental even though it was already paid. Total scam. Then I get some fake fuel bill. I will never use this location again. Review the security footage.

PETER CQuote online said about 70 bucks. I go in store they want 90. I have rented previously and it's always been within a few dollars of the online quote. The guy couldn't explain the $30 difference and told me it was tax. As if tax on $70 is $30…. Seeing as it's moving day and have no other options I pay the $90 and go in about my day. I get back and they tag on another $40. The employees there at drop off also couldn't explain the $30 discrepancy.. whne I asked they just said "yeah the online quotes are never right" so it sounds like a known issue in which case that is false advertisement. I said "so all quotes are wrong why is that" and the employees best answer was "I don't know". Clearly you guys are taking advantage of people moving who don't have the time to find a different company when they show up and the price is 50 % more than the quote. It's also a disservice to employees and customers alike to not have employees properly versed on rates, quotes, etc… my time has greatly been wasted and I will never bring my patronage to U-Haul again.

RICHARD BOn the car trailer, the ratcheting tie for front tires didn't hold. Very rusty and didn't work right. On the right side I had to re- tighten over 10 times. It's not working due to corrosion. I made due, because I didn't want to delay the trip further.

She Manually Went Into The Employee Portal and Emailed That Specific Store About Their UHaul App Not Working and Notified Them Because I'm Disabled and Don't Drive, And She Manually Deleted My ATM Card Information and Stephanie Told Me That Way If They Didn't Get To It For A Week or Two Then There Was No Possible Way They Could Have Access To My Card and Charge Me, In Fact They Owe Me A Refund For All The Days I Had Already Paid For In July Due To The Fact That I Overpaid UHaul!!!
Angela T | Expérience généraleThe loading bay was FILLED with garbage. I mean FILLED. Couldn't open the second door into the unit so have to haul stuff fitting only through the door with the lock. Could barely open it all the way with the garbage behind the door. The unit numbers were not clear at all. No signs pointing to which way to go per your unit number. There was a rat poison trap in my unit which was not a good sign. All the lights were off in the hallway on the upper split level and it was pitch black dark. I had to use my flashlight on someone else's door to even see my unit. The signs to even get into the unit for the first time weren't clear. It didn't tell me on the app which security system to use and which was to first alert the security system I was there and then the one for the actual garage door to open up to the docking station.

I should add, its air conditioned/heated! We moved everything from unit to truck inside the a/c. We also made use of all the free to use dollys and carts. They really make self moving an easier experience.

ANDREA S | Premières impressionsI've had continual problems with U-Haul from Cathedral City, Moving Help, U-Box customer service, and this location. On 12/8 I called to give 24 hours notice that I'd be there w/ movers to unload my 3 U-boxes. I asked that the boxes be dropped next to the storage unit so easy to unload. I was told that they would be ready, no problem. On 12/9 we arrived on time, and were told that no one there could move the U-Boxes to the storage unit, and 2 of the U-boxes were facing inward w/ no access to the doors. We spent 45 min moving items across the snowy, icy parking lot from 1 U-box to storage. It was slippery and dangerous. I complained again about the lack of communication and that I would've scheduled the movers to a time when the U-boxes would be at the unit. Finally, someone managed to get permission to move the other 2 U-boxes to the storage unit, and we were able to unload both boxes within 45 minutes. Today, 12/16, I received 2 email notifications that I was charged $108,85 for 2 of the U-Boxes monthly storage fees, even though the boxes were emptied and returned on 12/9. I've made 3 phone calls today. The unauthorized charges to my card are pending. Someone will supposedly get back to me within 72 hours. Yet one more screw up by U-Haul in the never ending saga of screw-ups. I regret even getting the storage unit now. I should've just moved it all out of any place owned by U-Haul.

This being stated, I would like to question why I got a Delinquent Fee notice for $24,99 on 11/14/2021 at 10:53 AM and then a payment reminder on the same day, 11/14/2021 at 12:49 AM; less than two hours later? After calling and waiting for what seemed a half hour, I was connected to what I assume was a call center because the phone number for my local U-Haul Storage dealer in Spokane Valley, Washington (Unit #1096) seems to be a main number and not specifically tied to my local one. I was told by the first lady I spoke to, that my Visa Card expired in October of 2019 and that was why I received the delinquent fee notice, whereupon I stated that I would like to dispute the late payment penalty. I was then transferred without notice of to whom or to what department I was transferred to and spoke with a gentleman with whom I updated my bankcard information. He told me there was nothing he could do because it was my responsibility to update my charge card information. Up until this November payment, my account has been debited every month since November of 2019 and I have received texts including autopayment notices and a rate increase but no notice that my card had expired two years earlier. I used to receive rent reminders on the first of every month up until November of 2018, when I received autopayment notices only. It is a bit disconcerting when I am given no notice that my scheduled payment has not been received and then given less than two hours to remedy the situation. Should whomever reads this have an inclination to do so, I would appreciate this text being forwarded to your Customer Relations department.
