The entire process of reserving a storage unit was flawless. In this busy season I was able to rent a 4x8 trailer at the last minute without issues (very glad I invested in a u-haul hitch 2 years ago). The staff and crew were professional and kind. The prices were very reasonable and took great care in hitching the trailer to my car. I would highly recommend this U-haul pick-up/rental location!

JOHN K2 hours and 36 miles and no discount. Way to much and asked why and they were snotty...only outside people were nice. Inside rental people just rude.
TRACIE FI've been to this location in the past and have had a good experience. Not today. I came to pick up my reserved vehicle and it was filthy. Capb had debris and seat was dirty. Back hatch was dirty, my hands were covered in dirt. I opened the back and there was dirt, debris, a penny, an earring, etc. I went back inside to request a different vehicle and they said I could not rent it or take it as is. I asked to borrow a broom and a paper towel and cleaned it myself. So I am requesting that my charge be waived, this was completely unprofessional and I am honestly disappointed. ANDREW DI was down the road and needed a trailer quickly. I called and 15 minutes later I was picking up the stuff I needed. Everyone was friendly and quick! The trailer worked great!

JOSHUA DThe in side of the truck was never cleaned, I know this because the things I had lost were underneath the seat and the brakes were never fixed on the vehicle and it makes a terrible terrible noise when you turn in the rear end the door sticks it looks like a construction vehicle, and there is a wave in the windshield and it's hard to see

Donna HTrailer was in good condition but the floor was only slightly cleaned from the previous renter. This didn't bother me, but some people might not be happy about it.
WAYNE WRotors and brakes need to be replaced . Significant shaking when breaking Also, the charge per mile is exorbitant and overall creates a negative experience that I was duped into thinking this would be an inexpensive venture.

ERIC ROne person who worked there stared at his phone the whole time. The person who helped me didn't help find a location to drop off my rental and told me I had to call when I arrived I. Syracuse-leading to a long hold call. The Uhaul smelled like smoke. The gas in the tank was 1/8 less full than marked on the contract and only at 1/4 of a tank, forcing a quick gas up. The back of the truck also had trash in it and the TPMS light was illuminated. Uhaul is kind of a joke.

LAURIE WThe service staff at the Ithaca location deserves a raise!! Outstanding customer service - very friendly - really made the experience excellent over all!! Minor Safety note - during high winds, the box trucks can be problematic to control on the highway with cross winds.

WILLIS GAppearance of interior wasnt great to look at and certain heat settings wouldn't work (Meaning the position of where it came from, the heat still did work). Also the visors were both broken. It still got the job done, don't get me wrong, but could use some interior maintenance.
TAYLOR WTruck was in terrible condition. Also, did not receive receipt by email as promised.
GLENN SThe u-haul was very good. Fuel efficiency is not at the best but still it was in the range acceptable. The weather was very cold but the heating the car was very good. We also had our cat with us and it was very comfortable. Very spacious car as well.
MOHAMMAD YI think pickup and drop off were quick and easy. An inexpensive option for hauling as opposed to potentially replacing the transmission on my personal vehicle.

TROY WMy check out experience was easy and the staff was friendly and approachable -- much different than when I visited to purchase supplies earlier in the fall 2024. The truck was clean and well maintained. There were challenges with the back door -- both pointed out by U-haul employee and experienced by me in that it was extremely difficult to lift the door -- seemed like it needed WD-40, or that it was a little off track. If I could interact with the manager and the person she had working with her on Sunday every time, I'd rate this location as excellent.

JOHN KJasmine took very good care of us - when out in -1 degrees weather and hook us up and showed us how things work - did a great job We returned the equipment and made sure they noticed and they said we would get a receipt by email with the final bill, the next day we got a call asking us if we returned the toe dolly - I thought this was strange.
