I got over charged for the mileage, and the usage of the truck. I should have had a free month rental, based on the app! But the guy wanted to charge me for two days usage of the truck when I was in the building and return the truck the next day after starting the rental. He also charged me for a 26-foot truck at .99 cents a mile, when I only rented a 15-foot truck at .79 cents a mile. I will never rent from that location again and will not recommend to anyone to rent from that location. I like U-Haul, but not that place on 1233 West 18th St Indianapolis, In 46202!!!!

APOLLO B | ReservationStaff were rude and cranky. Waited 10 minutes then they decided to wait on a man who arrived after me. Ugh. Not good signage to indicate you must drive close to barrier for door to open. Sign for my unit area missing so staff spent long time hunting for it, despite working there 3 years. Needs better signage to navigate maze of units to elevator and to main office. Male staff member abrasive. Male and female staff speak harshly to each other. Took 30 minutes to check in…other locations are much faster and let you do it all online. Also had to arrive during staffed hours to sign contract of leaving facility. My flight was delayed so missed hours and had to drive extra 3 hours to be able to sign form. Seems crazy process for 2024. Why not checkout online when exiting storage unit?! Would not recommend.

I went to talk to whoever ran the office that day and I don't know if his English was poor or he didn't understand but I didn't receive any help.

lynsey c | Overall ExperienceThe Manager Mr. Morgan and employee John E (he didn’t want to give me his last name) were horrible acting and very unprofessional and talked crazy to me about a unit I never moved in, and refused to give me my money back for a unit I never moved into. Judge Mathis will hear this case and I will provide documents that prove I should have gotten my money back. Corporate office stood by this nonsense and they too will be included when I go to Judge Mathis.
