When I made my UHaul reservation, I confirmed a drop-off point in town. On the day of the move, you emailed me to say the drop-off location had been moved, just as you did at the pick-up location. Now, instead of dropping off the truck in town, I had to drop it about five miles out of town and I still don't have my own transportation so you added one more last-minute, high-stress complication to an already-messed-up reservation. I drove out to the new drop-off location, parked the truck near the other UHaul trucks on the lot, out of the way of customers using the convenience store and gas pumps, and went inside the store to deliver the key, as I've done many, many times over the last 30 years, always without complication. This time, no such luck. The young man in the store told me I needed to park the truck elsewhere. I told him no, that I always do just what I did this time so it's easy for you (UHaul) / him to see my truck, check it for cleanliness, and appropriate amount of gas in the tank (remember, I was told it had half a tank but actually had less than 1/8 so I filled it to 3/4 and it was at half a tank at this drop-off -- it had much more gasoline in it when I returned it than it had when I picked it up). This punk would not accept that and insisted I move it elsewhere and tried to argue about it. I told him that I am an exhausted old woman that I am not going to argue with him, and I will not climb back into the truck even one more time that day and that, if I did, I was so tired I'd probably just fall out of it and break bones. I assured him I would not be touching the truck again for any reason. I placed the key on the counter by the cash register and left the building and the premises. What a day!! But it's not over yet. Nope. Later that day my bank notified me that you took $47 out of my bank account in spite of the fact I'd already paid you in full. Plus extra gasoline. So, this UHaul experience involved inconvenient locations foisted on me at both ends of the so-called reservation and at the last minute, a much-needed dolly that never appeared, false info regarding gasoline, arguments from a lazy kid young enough to be my grandchild and who looked perfectly healthy to me (by far healthier than I am), and money flowing out of my bank account with no explanation, no accountability from you. This is not the UHaul I've known and respected for decades. You should be ashamed of this shoddy experience. It was a failure at every possible opportunity.
